Vegetarian lasagna
Amber H.

Had a wonderful date night with my husband here. Such a cool vibe. Loved the artwork and background music. The servers were so welcoming and quick to get us anything we needed. The food took a little while but it was well worth it! Everything was absolutely delicious. I am not vegetarian but would 100% eat here every week if we lived closer. The vegetarian lasagna was magnificent, and the brunch and gnocchi arabiatta was also delicious. The samosa we had as an appetizer was good, and the dark chocolate walnut cake was yummy too. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

I was delighted to find a vegetarian restaurant so close to my hotel, but Sage is well worth going out of your way! On my first visit I tried the lasagna. It's hard to find veggie lasagna at all, let alone one so tasty. While it was rich, it was not drowning in cheese or sauce, which gave it a lighter, healthier vibe. It was so good that I returned the next day (which I rarely do while traveling) to try the lunchtime falafel wrap. The falafel itself was perfectly textured and tasty, the wrap nicely toasted, and the dill house dressing on the side salad was sooooo delicious. I also had cold Persian tea, and that was beautifully aromatic. My lunchtime companion, a meat eater, loved his gnocchi and especially thought the sauce was great. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be back!

Persian flavors and Mally are the reasons to visit this out-of-way kitchen. My wife and I stopped…read morein for lunch while looking at another nearby shop. We were greeted warmly by David, the assistant, and he explained each of the available dishes on the trays stacked on the shelving unit. We chose pirashkis, flaky dough filled with meats or veggies, and plenty of yummy spices. Our two favorites were the tomato and the chicken and sausages. Mally, the owner and top chef, engaged us in conversation that felt like we were welcome guests in her home, specifically the kitchen. Mally gave us a plate of fresh greens from her garden complete with edible Nasturtium flowers. Very limited seating was available inside and the breezeway outside had a number of tables where we enjoyed our food and a cool breeze. After our lunch, we walked back to the kitchen to tell Mally how delicious everything tasted and I picked up a baklava to go. Tasty walnut and honey in layered philo dough was a great finish lunch. This woman-owned small business is worth supporting, IMO, for all the reasons above. Additional Note: Rice and stew options are available as noted by other Yelpers.

The food is very tasty and vegan and gluten free by default. You can also add meat if you want to…read more The service is great and the owner is very nice and welcoming. Definitely suggest this place to anyone who is in the area around lunch time.

My husband and I went on a late Saturday afternoon and we were seated immediately. We shared the Fido's Fries as an appetizer and I got the Chili Cheese Dogs as my entree. Almost everything could be made veggie or vegan so I asked for the dogs to be veggie. My meal also came with a side so I got the frickles (fried pickles). The Fido's Fries were beer battered fries, topped with cheese, bacon (we got the pork option but they have soy), scallions, & sour cream (on the side). The fries were absolutely delicious! I loved my chili cheese dogs as well. It was a very generous portion because it was two dogs and a ton of frickles. As a dog lover, I adored all of the dog art & statues around the place. The menu is even dog themed. I mean they call appetizers kibbles & bits. That could not be any cuter! There is indoor seating (with a bar) and outdoor seating. As you can probably already tell, the restaurant is dog friendly (with their outdoor area). They even have a dog friendly menu (called puppy meals). Service was superb! There is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found free parking a few blocks away. My mom is a vegan and we sometimes struggles to find creative meals when she visits. I will definitely be taking her here next!

My drink was good but I'm pretty sure the house made syrup was made with sweetener that was not cane sugar and I'm very sensitive to any other sweetener. Menu was large and I had a hard time deciding. It is a somewhat vegan place much to my surprise so I figured why not try it here because I do love good vegan option even though I do eat meat I ordered the trio of patties black eyed peas and black bean. I took a bite of each and left the rest. Three different staff noticed my untouched food but none inquired or offered replacing it or removing it from bill which to me would be a gesture of a good business practice. My companion enjoyed and loved each morsel of his crab cakes! The battered fries were great! My server was very kind and attentive.

Their new location is very nice and spacious and there's plenty of parking too! We got the Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread, Grilled Romaine, Hearts of Palm & Lion's Mane "Crabcakes", and Southern Style Plate with BBQ "pork". The cornbread was so moist and the crabcakes were flavorful. The grilled romaine was a revelation - I loved whatever creamy sauce it came with, the candied nuts, and the smokiness of the romaine. The BBQ "pork" was probably my least favorite thing, but don't get me wrong, it was still tasty. We asked for a little more BBQ sauce to go with it and our waitress got it for us right away. The drinks were also fantastic! I got the Autumn Flare which was coconut water, housemade falernum syrup, pineapple juice, and lemon. So refreshing and yummy!

The home fries were cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend!

Coming from Edison NJ , we have had good experience with honest in Edison... went for lunch and it wasn't crowded . Good location and lots of parking outside . Nice rest rooms and easy to order . We had chola poori and it was really good ! Was surprised to see the poori , didn't have any oil in it . Was super dry and very delicious . Chola was awesome .. super hit - and loved the chola poori . We also ordered a thali .. it was average . I didn't like it much . Chapathi was good but chola for chappati didn't go well. Dhal was bland and less salt . Paneer was too sweet ! Rice was also too dry and I couldn't finish even half of it . Had dhal rice and pickle .. Gulab Jamoon was good . Might not recommend thali .. otherwise it was good overall. 3.5stars

They have a bunch of different options such as dosas, Manchurian, noodles, Indochinese foods, soups and various other items! I personally love their sandwiches, this time I went they had a new item on their menu called a singham dosa and it was filled with essentially a paneer Tikka masala and veggies, covered with amul cheese which is India's most popular cheese. It was amazing! I love their chutneys as well, and I tried their bhakhri pizza which is basically a flatbread pizza it was okay, a bit too much cheese. Service is quick, they have a tab system at the register so you can order as you please and they keep water jugs on the table as well as utensils and napkins so you dont have to keep asking for things and you know it's also clean!
