If I could give ten stars I would, I have an incredible experience this weekend. Am in town for just one night, had a long bike ride, and wanted to close out with some self pampering. I left a message with Sage, they called me back immediately, had very reasonable prices for a package of a float, Sauna AND 80 minute massage, and fit me in that night. Their place was clean, the people were kind that welcomed me in and explained the room to me. The sauna was peaceful and relaxing, the float was a little scary but once I let go it was incredible and healing (something happened emotionally and I just cried and cried! but I think that's the point!). Then I had my 80 minute massage with Justin who is a true healer. His hands knew right where to go, where to focus, super intuitive therapist. He was a really nice guy too, and this was just one the best massages I've ever had (and I slept 9 hours when I got back which is unheard of for me!). I wish I lived here, because I would go weekly, but I'll be coming back for sure. This place is THE BEST. read more

Went in for a Sauna Massage and float! I was seeing stars (in a great way) after my spa session. The front desk service was great as well as the instructions on how to operate sauna and the float. I would definitely come back in the near future as the float was so relaxing! My body felt like a million bucks and as an athlete the body is always under stress and sore, it all went away after my spa day. Anyone being picky about petty little shit like this Leslie guy (see 3 star review) probably needs 1000x spa days to chill TF out! First time there today, massage only. The place seemed so clean and covid conscious. Masseuse (Darcy?) was very good. Her work seemed experienced and 'intentional' vs just a rote massage. I asked front desk about covid safety of float rooms and tubs. The very descriptive answer convinced me to try it sometime. Only problem is breathing, with a mask, while on stomach. Choose your mask carefully. I think next time I would wear a kn95 or something structured that won't press into nose and mouth. read more

Went to try out this new trend and was underwhelmed. Started out with a massage from Vanessa, which was GREAT ! Then was lead into the room where my tub awaited me. I managed to get through just over 1/2 hour with the lid closed. When I left the lid cracked for air, it was too cold, when I closed it, it felt suffocating and I got dizzy from lack of fresh air. Music was nice. Several of the reasons I can't rate this higher. The guy who explained everything, though nice enough, wasn't interested in honest feedback and wasn't terribly sincere. OK, I get it, you're a millennial (sorry to the super awesome ones out there). The bathrooms aren't in the spa location, you have to walk outside, which isn't terribly ideal for naked people in robes. The tub rooms don't have mirrors so after you shower and get dressed, you can't inspect yourself before you walk out. The water in the "relax-area" tasted super chemical-like and foul. I didn't realize how awful it was until after I swigged a whole cup full and being parched after soaking in intensely salty water... well you don't think you need to test the drinking water. I'm bummed. I wanted this to be more. The place is cute and decorated on point, but there was just enough "meh" to make it so that I won't be back. read more

Sage Float Spa is a beautiful sanctuary! The waiting areas are clean with gorgeous plants everywhere and the soothing decor is so welcoming. The staff is outstanding. We were cared for by receptionist Lindsay at the spa, who was friendly, professional, and warm. The owner Elana was a great help to us in leading up to our first float. You can tell her business is a true labor of love. The pods are well-maintained and clean enough even for this super-nitpicky gal. The showers (and bathing products) are awesome, too! This place was so cool! I went for a happy hour float for my first time so it was reduced pricing. I really read everything on their website so I knew what to do and what to expect. I really liked it though! I think anything longer than an hour would be too long. The red light setting was really nice (I did not like complete darkness) and I left the music on. This is a wonderful experience, you definitely need to be in the mood for deprivation, or meditation for this to work efficiently. I have only done a couple floats and only here at Sage, so Im not a thousand percent sure of all the little details, but I did notice that My 2nd float Wasn't as buoyant as the previous time and that did not allow me to FLOAT as high or nicely and it definitely made a difference. I will be back, this spot is clean, quaint, and super friendly *Third Float was AMAZING, and I definitely had a perfect buoyant Float, it literally took me to another dimension I recommend anyone to at least try this once even if you come for Happy Hour to save a few bucks to see if you enjoy it. read more

An overdue review for my experience here at Sage. The atmosphere of this place is so relaxing and calming. I love the indoor plants along with how clean the place is. Gabby took care of me and during the process I loved how she reminded me to breathe deeply. Her hands and motions felt like ancient healing energy seeping into my body. Next thing I knew, I fell into a deep state of calmness. Wasn't asleep but also wasn't fully awake. I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated afterwards. What can I say? Sage Float Spa is amazing! I've visited here a number of times now since their opening. It's gotta even nicer after their first renovation. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are plentiful, and the float tanks are great, clean, and clearly well maintained. The amenities in the post-float recovery room are a nice touch. I always feel refreshed after floating. I suffer from degenerative disc disease and find floating an easy way to manage the symptoms and the effects last quite a while for me. I really like the atmosphere there and they really take care of you. If it's your first time, just let them know and they'll give you the full run down. They really make you feel comfortable. They do get a lot of regulars, which is always a great sign. Looking forward to trying out the sauna or getting a massage in the future. Thanks Sage! Owner Elana has been very thoughtful and informative as I've become more used to floating as a practice and the staff is always helpful and approachable. Over the past several months I've been using the infrared sauna before I float and the addition has been such a treat! The time in the sauna allows me to begin slowing down so I'm pretty relaxed before getting in the float tank. What I find exceptional about Sage is the atmosphere. It is extremely clean (trust me, I'm a freak about cleanliness!!) while still being super welcoming, cozy and conducive to achieving my maximum chillax. Best experience so far of 2019! I've never floated before but had heard it was good for a plethora of reasons. Booked an appointment an hour in advance so I got lucky they had an opening! The entire environment felt welcoming and wonderful, such good energy. Everything was explained so well, the room was immaculately clean, and cozy. The tank was intimidating to me at first as I am slightly claustrophobic but after about ten minuets I closed the lid completely and turned off the lights. When the gentleman masseur came out to get me for my massage, it looked like he just got finished playing a basketball game- red shorts, black t-shirt, high white socks... nothing indicating he works for Sage Float Spa, for all I knew he was a random person from off of the street. Then during my massage we sparked up a conversation & every 5th word out of his mouth was Fu*k. Defiantly not worth $100+Tip. Whole experience was completely unprofessional and SO not relaxing! It is located right next to a busy intersection. It's a part of another building and has its own private parking lot. We had an appointment for a couples package (infrared sauna and the salt bath float). Was greeted immediately and asked to sign waivers--one for Sauna and one for Bath. It's super quiet in here; not even the typical spa music playing overhead. Bathrooms are located outside which aren't ideal for us (especially in bathrobes). Workers walk around barefoot or in socks. And customers are asked to leave their shoes by the door. We get into the sauna room and the worker explains the process and what to expect. We are to sit in the sauna for up to an hour, changing between each infrared which has different affects on the body. There's music inside and towels to wrap your body, wipe sweat, and to sit on. Outside the sauna area is (thankfully) cool water to drink and cooled towels in an insulated bag to keep them cool, just one per person though for after you are done with the sauna, and a fan. We were instructed to wipe off, use the cool towel, and then robe up. Next is the salt bath. It's in its own room, complete w a shower area. We are instructed to put on ear plugs, shower with soap and shampoo (but not conditioner as it would contaminated the salt water pod), blot our face w a towel so we aren't tempted to touch our faces in the salt water, put Vaseline on any cuts we may have to seal it up from the salt, and then hop on into the pod. It's a bit surreal in there because you can close to pod and be immersed in darkness/ whatever color you choose. With your ears plugged up, you can hear the music better if you put your ears into the water. Personally we got a bit nauseated and had to pop open the hood for some air after a while. But inside you are pretty much in your own head. It's a very interesting experience. They also got these floaters for your shoulders (I used it to keep my head afloat), towels inside to wipe your face, and a mini spray w water to use if you get salt in places it shouldn't go. Afterward we showered, dried off, and changed back to our regular clothes. We got to relax in the waiting room, had tea/water, and pet the cute doggo at the spa. All in all a great experience for those who want to try something different from the typical spa experience. read more
