I tried this spa after checking at least three or four Asian foot spa type places in the surrounding area and this is the only one that got really good reviews mostly five stars. Here was my experience from beginning to end. I called to make an appointment and the lady that answered the phone acted like she knew me already very upbeat and bubbly like she was my friend! I then made the appointment and was able to get in within an hour. When I entered, I was greeted and able to tell the person I was talking to exactly what I wanted. She directed me to a room and the person massaging me began the massage face down with my body covered, and she began doing compression, which is light pushing on my back arms, glute area, legs, feet and neck. She then rolled back my sheet all the way down to where my butt cheeks end. Just so you know this is the Asian massage way. It's not weird at all. If you are weird about these things, you should not get a massage at these places. It's just a body. These places get a bad rep because of the things that go on at other places. Anyway... She then used oil and massaged my body (neck, arms, shoulders, back and lower back, glutes, legs for about a half hour, then she turned me over and massaged my feet and my legs. She used hot stones on the same areas briefly, then she used a very warm towel to wipe off the oil on my body, which I appreciated. She gave me a very nice scalp massage as well. For $60 this is amazing and I gave her a $20 tip because it was worth it! If you go and get a regular massage at a regular spot, it cost about $130-$160.00 at the very least. The only constructive criticism I have would be that the room itself had nice relaxing spa music in it, but the general area in the front had some pounding music going, which competed with the spa music and made it really difficult to fully relax or fall asleep. If it wasn't for this, it would've been absolutely perfect and so I'm writing this to allow the establishment to understand that when you are in a Zen state, it's important to keep things consistent. Maybe have the music the same on the outside as the inside of the rooms, and when you have no patron, that's when you can play your thumping music That would be the only thing that I would love to see improved upon. When I was done with my massage, the lady that had answered the phone to begin with checked me out and was very very kind and caring. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back at least once a month if not more. read more

Got an 1 1/2 hour combo massage on 8/2/26. Was a decent massage, didn't focus on my muscles/knots like An experienced masseuse would. The reason for 3 stars is that I paid for a combo massage and she didn't massage my feet at all. Completely skipped them. That's my favorite part of massages. Most likely won't be back . Update.....To the owner who commented on my review. I was never asked which massage I wanted. I just asked for 90 min massage. This is an Asian massage spa that offers great value. Housed in an older building on Soquel Drive near Porter. They have lots of therapy rooms along a main corridor. I went in to try a 60 minute massage for the 1st time yesterday. I texted the main number the day before to make a 2pm appointment on a Thursday for a deep tissue massage. My therapist was Noni. Overall, it was a good massage, but it was more of a swedish massage with some hot stone treatment thrown in. Pressure was good, and my therapist did regularly ask if the pressure was right. She did cover my full body, worked my back and neck really well, and included some stretching in the full 60 minutes. However, it did seem a bit frantic and rushed and not quite as relaxing as I prefer. Will probably give them another try and request a 90 minute deep tissue sports massage without the hot stones. Currently $60 cash/$63 credit card for 60 minutes. Almost all the therapists are female. read more

This is our 2nd time coming to this location. My husband and I LOVE it. We get couples massage. The location is cozy and shaded. Clean place, love the decor in the rooms, very calm colors and cute. Very good technique. Walls are thin, so you can hear people talking in the background. Perhaps maybe turn the soothing relaxing music up to tune out the background noise of people talking. This was my first "real" massage! Visited for the first time and it was an overall positive experience. I got the full body and foot massage which lasted about an hour. What worked: --the prices were extremely reasonable. I haven't seen a spa that can compete with the massage prices here -- no appointment was needed, I was able to just walk in on a Saturday -- most of the massage was really pleasant. I loved the hot rocks that they used and the leg and foot part of the massage was so nice, I could've fallen asleep during it -- the masseuse checked in two or three times to make sure I was alright with the pressure which I appreciated -- the room felt clean and private. Nice and warm, too -- I never felt over-exposed. The masseuse was great about keeping my body covered with a sheet when she wasn't actively massaging that spot. She also held the sheet up for me when I turned my body which added to the feeling of modesty/coverage What didn't work: -- this was my first massage so I didn't know what to expect. The masseuse didnt tell me how much to undress (I had to guess and hope it was okay) or ask any questions about areas that I'd like the massage focused on/areas that might be sensitive. Not a big deal but something that first timers should be aware of -- The masseuse was strong!! The pressure was intense and sometimes painful, but she reduced her pressure when I asked. I think someone who likes firm pressure or who has a lot of tension would really benefit! Overall, I had a positive experience and I'd go again now that I know what to expect. I think they may need to give a little more info or prep for first-timers but someone who knows what they want from a massage will have an awesome time here. I've had two 2-hour massages and one 60-minute session here, and every single one was excellent--incredible technique, perfect pressure, deeply relaxing, and truly therapeutic. Aida is magical. I saw all the good reviews and decided that I would give this place a try and get a message. Oh boy was that a mistake. When I entered the establishment I was never greeted by the front desk associate. When I approached the front desk and inquire about the services they offered the associate spoke is such a disrespectful manner that I had to leave. Great service, the lady at the desk was very kind when we came in. My daughter had a combo massage with Anna. She enjoyed the hour and felt refreshed afterwards. I had Amie for the hour in a table next to my daughter. Totally amazing! Bother her hands were in movement with the hard pressure that I requested. She checked in a few times to make sure it was good. Used enough oil to keep the flow going nice. She used hands, fingers, forearms, and elbows sometimes on the bed to give deep pressure. Lisa was amazing! I usually go over the hill to Burke Williams but didn't want to deal with the rain and a lane closure so I went to Santa Cruz locals on Facebook and they suggested this place. I was a little hesitant because I've never been here and the price was a lot less than I'm used to, but I called about 15 minutes before they were scheduled to open and the woman who answered was friendly and able to schedule me 30 minutes after they opened I showed up about five minutes before my appointment. They were both friendly and Courteous & asked me if I was cold as well as What type of pressure I would like, and they checked in with me throughout the massage. I think lisa did a wonderful massage I was different than I was used to, but I was impressed with the quality and she did some type of stretching technique. Wow! This place is amazing! My husband and I called around 11am on a Saturday and wanted a 2pm couples deep tissue massage appt, they didn't have any so they said 2:30pm so we took that. When we arrived we saw the colorful walls and decor. We had to wait 10 minutes so they didn't start our massage until 2:40. Lola and Lucy were our masseuse. I had Lola, and boy was she strong and I love a strong massage. The pressure was perfect and I even fell asleep so did my husband. The hot stone and essential oils came with the massage for only $120 for both of us. We both tipped $20 each for a relaxing wonderful massage ($40) total. We would totally go back to this place, service was great and plenty of parking! We came back for a second time 3 weeks later and we had Lola again and this time Kelly and they were both great. Update: I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of this supposed business owner. Even after I blocked her phone number, she texted me today from her Apple ID. She is clearly mentally unstable. Screenshots attached. Your should really steer clear! My husband and I were in the area for my birthday weekend, and we love a good couples massage. I called here, and they had availability the next day, which was perfect. We arrived early and were taken right back. I needed to use the bathroom first, but someone was in it. The lady who led me back started knocking on the door loudly and impatiently, so I thought maybe she knew an employee was in there. No, after a few minutes another client came out, apologizing and saying the toilet was backed up. I felt bad she'd been pounding on the door while he tried to handle his business. Yikes. So I went to the bathroom and unfortunately, he was right. Toilet wouldn't flush, not much I could do about it. My husband and I were placed in a room together, and honestly the room smelled musty, like if your clothes sit damp for too long before you dry them? That kind of musty. Being face down on the tables kind of grossed me out, thinking maybe they weren't quite clean. But we went with it. The first 15 minutes (we paid for 90) were done over the sheet. As in we are under a sheet and they massage through it. We didn't say anything, and it felt okay, but I was thinking, "I really hope this isn't the way they do it for 90 minutes." It wasn't. Sheet came off, oil came out. My masseuse kept asking me if the pressure was okay (it was), but my husband's didn't utter a single word to him the entire time we were there. Normally a masseuse will ask what your problem areas are, any areas you want to avoid, but nothing like that here. Most of the massage felt good, but I couldn't quite fully relax. I had left my underwear on, which apparently meant nothing to my masseuse, since she proceeded to pull them down almost all the way underneath my cheeks and rub all over my ass. Don't get me wrong, I don't think she was trying to be a pervert, but I didn't like it. There's a reason I kept them on, and it wasn't so a stranger could pull them down and feel me up anyway. I ended up reaching down and pulling them up, and apparently she got the hint. Normally I ask them not to touch my head as well because I don't like getting an oily scalp, but again, she didn't ask, just rubbed oil all over my freshly washed hair. At the end of the massage, they got out the hot stones. I normally enjoy this, but not this time. It wasn't like nice, relaxing, purposeful strokes. They scrubbed vigorously with them. Like someone washing clothes with an old school washboard. The overall ambience was just not pleasant either. They had a little iPad on the floor in the hallway walking back to the separate rooms that played music in the hallway, but it was barely audible in the room. They could've played music on a cell phone even, but nothing, so it was pretty much silent in the room except the few whispers between them and all the talking coming from elsewhere. Anytime someone walked in the front, we could hear "hello!" loudly from the desk and then the customer asking for an hour or an appointment or whatever. Nothing at all relaxing or pleasant about it. My masseuse delivered a firm pressure the entire time, but my husband said his was too firm and that 70% of it was painful. I'd suggest going elsewhere. Additionally, after the owner saw my review, she CALLED me! Once I realized who she was, I hung up, as I don't think there's really anything to discuss. Within seconds of hanging up, she called me AGAIN! Who does that? I ended up blocking her number. read more

I live close to this spot and never heard of them until I seen the reviews on yelp. If you want more of a spa feel I recommend this place. Everyone seems pretty nice and professional. The front desk lady with the gorgeous nails was nice to offer me some tea and small talk which is nice. It smells good and seems taken care of by the looks of everything. I got the A package for 80 dollars. It's 60 minute body massage and includes a 15 minutes body scrub. I had two ladies massage me. I forgot to ask what the names were but they were great! They take you to a separate room for the body scrub and rinse you off with warm water. Great experience, will be back. read more

Well my sister and brother in law purchased a massage for me as a Christmas gift. They live on the east coast so they called the establishment and purchased it over the phone. They texted me the receipt so there would be no issue when I went in for my scheduled appointment. I went this morning (12-27 at 10 am) and they asked for the gift card. I did not have one but showed her the copy of the receipt but that was not good enough I was told, I needed to show a gift card. I called my sister and she said that they were not told a physical gift card would be needed. Needless to say, they literally pushed me out the door and said no gift card, no massage. Thank god my sister's bank was able to pull the funds back from their account. Never going to go back and never will recommend. Why can't you give a zero star rating? read more
