We came here on a weekend day and simply called 20 minutes before we got there. It is advisable you call before because during our massage we heard the staff call someone to move their 3:40 arrival to 4 pm. The actual massages were great. We got the one-hour combination massage and both massage therapists were great and used good strength. Mine focused on deep tissue, pressure points, and some Swedish techniques. He was very good and my partner enjoyed his massage too. I was very surprised by the prices, which are unbeatable. I can't believe they still offer 30-minute foot massages for less than $30. We would definitely return the next time we are in Santa Cruz. read more

This place was not busy but I made an appointment anyways. I did one hour body massage with 30 minutes foot massage. In regards to the foot massage, I'm used to soaking my feet for about five minutes and then getting at least 15 minutes on lower legs and feet in spas where I live. This massage was combined and there was about ten minutes on my feet. My feet are sore and I could feel the knots or bubbles so I was hoping he'd work them out. He mostly rubs or pushes is his technique. When he asked, I told him my shoulders was where I wanted him to focus. He spent little time on my shoulders but when he did it felt very good. read more

My husband and I have been regulars at this family owned massage business. Their prices are VERY reasonable and the massage therapists work hard during the session. As to the only one star review it's disheartening to read. The owners have very limited English and I can see how there could be communication issues. You do have the option of leaving your under garments on, but the gluteus maximus is a large muscle to work. As for the groin, I know exactly what you're talking about. It's an area right below the hip bone and is a series of muscles that are very tight. The owner's wife has worked on this area on me and I believe they were just trying to give you the best rub down for your money. This family works incredibly hard and I highly recommend them. If you are ever uncomfortable with a male therapist, request a woman. read more

The man who seemed to be the owner behaved very inappropriately while giving my girlfriend a massage. He told her to get naked, during the massage he lifted up her feet to her butt while she was face down so much that she felt her genitals were exposed and visible and the man audibly said "ooh". Then he asked her to roll over and pressed his fingers on either side of her groin. He spent a lot of time touching her bottom as well and kept moving sheets and small hand towels around which made her feel very uncomfortable. read more

Great place if you need a quick fix. Prices are so reasonable! I got the 90 minute foot massage for $60. Your feet soak in a tub of warm water as your back, head and neck get massaged. A good amount of time is spent on your feet, but after that the chair is fully reclined into a bed and you are further massaged both face up and then down (fully clothed the whole time). They also have rooms for those who want the traditional Swedish type massage. If I lived close by I'd be here weekly. read more
