Stephen suggested putting the puck lights in a different place than we had originally considered, which made the puck light fixture almost invisible while providing all the light. On Mar 11, Joe added a wall switch to the other side of the closet and hard-wired three security cameras. They wound up shorting one of the hot lines to neutral, which caused 240V to be supplied to 120V circuits. This caused an electrical fire by overloading multiple transformers. If I had not been near one of the transformers when the electrical service was restored, our home quite literally could have burned down. The result was heavy smoke damage and multiple appliances needing to be replaced.
