Once they had me in their system, they started contacting me in advance to schedule the test each year, which I really appreciate since the city notice doesn't usually give a lot of turnaround time. This year the city surprised me by sending the notice a month early, and I was on vacation when the notice came. This left me with just over a week before it was due. I contacted 5 Star Backflow Services and they were able to do the test just a couple days later. After the test they always send the report directly to the city within 24 hours. I found them on the BBB website. Kody spent time educating us on options and came across as refreshingly honest. They weren't the cheapest, but we wanted this done right. The team was great - let's face it cleaning out a crawlspace and doing exclusion work is difficult and unpleasant - but Antonil (sp?) and Joseph were professional, and worked hard. I was shocked, with the PSE rebate, which NW Insulation takes care of, the estimate was thousands less than I thought it would be! I signed up, and a day or so later I got a call to schedule the install, again, surprisingly, they could do it right away and I scheduled for about a week out. The installers got to my house about 8am and were very polite and professional. They basically worked all day, got the job done, and were on their way. They left everything clean and it is amazing to me how the house looked when they were done. They blew in the insulation from the exterior and the method that they used left no trace, they removed a course of siding, drilled holes, filled the walls, plugged the holes, and replaced the siding. You can't even tell that they were there. I have only had a few hot days to determine if there has been an improvement and honestly it really does seem to stay cooler inside, looking forward to winter for the real test. All in all, this has been a great experience, I very highly recommend NW Insulation for your project.

Requested weeding, mulching, and trimming of shrubs, got invoiced for mulching and trimming, so that is what they did, so that's my fault that they didn't weed. Quality of work is subpar. Low attention to detail. Not great listeners even when talking prior to work being done m like when I asked them to not trim a specific section, but add mulch still. Uneven trimming of shrubs, mulch on shrubs and not under the actual shrubs. They were responsive, but that's the only thing good about them. Just wait for Olivia to respond to this with specific things like "look at your compost bin and cameras, we clean", despite there being noticeable trimmings leftover. PS. 'The Pink Guys LLC' is not a registered business in Washington state. Edit: as you can see the response from the owner. The guy didn't bring enough mulch so he spreads it thinly and then lies about what i said. Said cutting the neighbors shrub was a curtesy when I asked for it before invoice was created, but since they chose not to put it in the invoice, it's not their problem. I met with him once, then before I left to soccer practice, and asked him to trim the top cuz he didn't, despite my invoice stating he would trim. He was too lazy to bring out the ladder... I don't have your number bud.. only your wife's. Here's the bad: They've gotten very expensive at $55 per hour per gardener and require a one year contract. Your lead/contact gardener will NOT be on site while work is done. You will see gardeners on their phones while working one-handed. We have a hydrangea that borders on our neighbor's garden. The PPNW gardeners chose to prune only half of it leaving it weird looking and incomplete. Why they didn't knock on the door or call to ask if it was okay to prune the whole thing is a question unanswered by owner Shannon. Instead, she chose to cut off service to us as she felt it was rude of us to ask.
