Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. I also had the privilege of having a couple of covering visits by Dr. Hansard and Dr Vaughn, who were excellent! I was met with compassion and patience at the visits with both of them. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.

The other parts of TFC aren't all great including the front desk is pretty worthless, they don't even let you know that a provider is running behind when it's over an hour behind schedule (multiple occasions). The checkout person is on her phone constantly and cannot give a receipt when you pay because she doesn't actually post to the account, another person in billing does that. You also cannot get ahold of anyone over the phone unless a nurse is calling you back at their convenience/on their schedule, they send secure messages to email which cannot always be retrieved (they didn't work for my device).

I went and was charged $300 as a "deposit" but I never saw claims filed to insurance nor did I get a refund from said deposit. Let's not forget to mention almost daily ultrasounds. Maybe that's where the $300 went to? in addition to the hour long waits for a 5 minute visit. All this while trying to keep my job and explain why I needed to see the dr almost daily. I went with the intention of getting lab work run and starting with pills (clomid or femara) as my obgyn didnt do this part. I was never allowed to do this as I was told It wouldnt work. (how do we know that?) Was sent to get an hsg without a negative pregnancy test in hand. (couldnt possibly be the first time they've sent someone to the ARA but they wouldnt help me so that was a waste of PTO, time and getting stuck in 5 oclock traffic unnecessarily. I had to drive bk to their clinic, get a blood draw so I could try again on yet another day. ) Not only was I not able to get a script for pills, I was told i should start with IVF. I absolutely refused and somehow this compromise was an IUI. What I should have done was walk out. But i let this dr talk me into an iui. $3300 later and who knows how many trips to the specialty pharmacy 30 miles away, I had a failed iui and a data breach bc someone left a laptop in their car. The final straw was being told my next step would be ivf or ovarian drilling. nope. nope. nope. I'm out. I ended up putting a pin in all this and ended up getting pregnant naturally about a year after I stopped going to this office but I still get chills everytime I see the exit off mopac. In summation, i will say he was super aggressive and seemed like he wanted everyone to get pregnant... but at what cost? I also want to mention I got a shot of vitamins (allegedly) that was above my hip that really aggravated my sciatic nerve... just be cautious. I thought I had a blood clot at first, but being that I am a runner I had it checked out to rule out any bigger problems. I ended up going to a different infertility dr who has now since retired but I wish I had gone to him first. If you do go here, I hope you are treated better than I was.

I was assigned to Dr. Kelly and her team was amazing! Special shoutout to Malorie and Tania (who I worked with most closely during the process), Dr. Oliva, and also Monica! I know some other reviews mention issues with communication (the main form of communication is messaging through an app), it takes some adjusting but I didn't have any issues and found the app convenient and efficient overall. My messages were usually answered within hours and during the actual IVF process I regularly spoke with my nurse on the phone. Some of the benefits I appreciated from Aspire is that they offered extremely simple, straightforward pricing for their services. Some of the price sheets of other clinics I looked into made no sense at all. Aspire also does their labs in-house so you don't have to have the inconvenience of going to a third party lab! When I was in the office every other day for monitoring they were very quick and efficient for my labs/ultrasounds, I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. The office is lovely, well-kept, convenient, and I found the staff to be kind, empathetic, and so patient in answering my endless questions/concerns about the process. I felt I was in good and caring hands with Aspire.

It's been one week since my miscarriage and I cant' stop crying. I came to aspire in February (well…read moredid all of my paperwork through their stupid portal) and began our process. I met my doctor through a video call in the beginning. Went over a few things like my past miscarriage and PCOS. After completing my bloodwork to confirm the hormone imbalance from the PCOS and completing my HSG test (came back clear), there was an obvious issue with high prolactin. I repeated the labs 2 more times, it was still high. I'm told by the doctor on a quick video call again that I will be getting an MRI on my brain. I felt pretty in shock and didn't really have time for questions. My anxiety was through the roof. Do I have a tumor or what? I ended up trying to ask questions about it through the dreaded portal that sometimes didn't even open. I didn't get a reply for a few days and any answer I would get looked like it was copied and pasted. My MRI reveals a rathkes cleft causing the high prolactin. When I tried asking for more information on what it is, the nurse was so annoyed on the portal that I ended up doing my own research. The nurse tells me a couple days later I have a prescription for cabergolibe to stop the high prolactin. I was nervous to take the medication as nobody told me really anything about it. But I took it anyway because it's part of the process. I was told by the pharmacy to not take it anymore if I became pregnant. Surely that wouldn't happen, we hadn't even worked on my messed up hormones, right....? Wrong. A month later I find im pregnant on July 3rd. What should have been a happy time turned so dark and cold fast. I was excited to message whoever was on the other end of the portal about my pregnancy and getting some blood draws to monitor the pregnancy since I'm high risk. The website even boasts about how amazing they are monitoring your early pregnancy and the care they give until it was time for my first OB appointment (which everyone knows isn't usually until 8-10 weeks). All I received was a congratulations and that I had been graduated to go see my obgyn. When I said I didn't have the ability to see one yet and if I could get some help during the early pregnancy because I was scared, I was told no and that was for an obgyn. I was in such disbelief. Every day I was so worried holding my stomach and counting the days until I could be seen. My obgyn said she would see me because 3 days prior I had a panic attack and visited planned parenthood due to my heart racing in the middle of the night. Something felt wrong. I showed the images from PP to compared to the ultrasound they were giving me. No heart beat, no growth, low progesterone. Even though I shouldn't be shocked because I knew my progesterone was low, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a chance my baby could have been saved with the monitoring I was promised. I was given medication that was painful to help move along the process and by 48 hours I was staring at my gestational sac in the shower. Absolutely traumatized. When I told them I'd like my medical records because I didn't want to try anymore, they could care less. Nobody asked if I needed to speak with anyone or if I was ok. Just another message in the portal. Just another person who lost a baby. I should have even warned the cabergoline could make pregnant so fast. That way I could have protected myself until my PCOS was treated properly. Knowing my progesterone was low, they should have monitored me to intervene with raising the levels or being able to recognize earlier this pregnancy wasn't viable. Instead I suffered for over a month and am still suffering now. Instead my 5 month with them, I saw real humans twice to take my blood. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

And, if you aren't the right fit for this protocol, you don't do it, like me. As for Kate, she has never been late, never been exasperated, and honestly I'm surprised to hear that review. But not all personalities click. I LOVE Kate. And I know that she confers with Dr. SK about everything, she doesn't work in a bubble. Furthermore, if I ever wanted to talk to Dr. SK, I could, easily. We had to see both Dr. PK and Dr. SK. Both are amazing doctors. Kind, understanding, up on research, intelligent, and honest. I also appreciated that they spoke to me like a professional. I have experience researching endocrine systems and didn't need things to be put in laymen terms. They *heard* me and we conversed on a level I felt appropriate. An important note- Dr. PK is very well known for his success rates with azoospermia patients. And their clinic is very comfortable handling delicate Micro-TESE sperm. Also, my husband is an immigrant who is shy with his English. They never made him feel unwelcome or stupid. He likes all of them a lot as well. I should also note that we began our journey with thein Sept 2016. At that time their financial person was horrible. I think a lot of people complained. I remember sitting in the room listening to the fees, trying not to cry, and she could obviously care less. HOWEVER, in early 2017 they got a new financial person who is much better with both accuracy and empathy. They worked with us in so many ways, I felt like the entire office was on our side. I still feel like they are on our side. After our retrieval, my progesterone was too high and we had to wait to do a frozen transfer. I'm glad I trusted this wisdom. We did another saline ultrasound during the wait and found more polyps. A quick surgery removed them and we did the frozen transfer a few weeks later. While I'm not sure how this will all end, my husband and I have a positive pregnancy blood test today. With our own eggs and sperm. Pretty awesome for a couple with azoospermia and a fibroid and polyp history. Bottom line - we trusted their wisdom and guidance and are glad we did. I'm sharing this not to speak badly about anyone but to help other first-time moms who might be feeling the same doubts I ignored. My goal is to give others information I wish I had. My baby is now healthy and thriving, and I'm so grateful for that, but the entire experience left me traumatized and afraid to go through pregnancy again. From the start, there were warning signs I should have paid attention to. Every appointment involved waiting four or more hours past the scheduled time, which showed how overbooked the practice was. At my 20-week anatomy scan, the sonographer mentioned seeing something on the baby's brain. That comment caused me immense anxiety, and I later learned it was unprofessional for a sonographer to share findings before a doctor reviewed them. When I asked to meet with Dr. Wang to discuss the results, she brushed me off and treated me like I was overreacting. That day I waited four hours to see her. Throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Wang strongly pushed for a C-section. She said things like "in China everyone with money chooses C-sections" and told me recovery would be much faster than with a vaginal birth. As a first-time mom, I trusted her advice, not realizing how serious the surgery and recovery would be. Looking back, I wish I had received balanced, evidence-based information rather than pressure. I also experienced severe nausea, exhaustion, and other symptoms that were dismissed. When I voiced concern, she told me, "this is as good as it's going to get." I had to advocate for myself to get additional lab work, request a different nausea medication, and push for the 4-hour gestational diabetes test when the 1-hour one came back abnormal. My due date was April 20, yet she scheduled my C-section for April 5. I now know that was early and likely unnecessary. After the scheduled C-section, I fainted when my catheter was removed due to blood loss. My hemoglobin levels dropped dangerously low, and I later realized I had been hemorrhaging. Dr. Wang and her nurse practitioner saw me once the next day, barely acknowledged what had happened, and discharged me less than 48 hours after surgery. Two days after returning home, I developed severe swelling and bruising across my abdomen. I had to leave my newborn and go back to the office, where Dr. Wang told me I had a "mango-sized" hematoma and recommended another surgery that same week under anesthesia. She said if I didn't do it, I might "look pregnant for months." She was cold and dismissive when I told her I was terrified, and when I begged her through the patient portal to call me afterward, she refused. Her nurse practitioner finally called me 12 hours later, but Dr. Wang never did. I sought two other medical opinions, and both doctors advised that only a general surgeon should perform that type of procedure, not an OB. I followed their advice and had the surgery safely about a month later. I truly don't know what might have happened if I hadn't trusted my instincts. Dr. Wang blamed the hematoma on the postpartum nurses pressing on my abdomen, which other doctors later said was not realistic. Lastly, Dr. Wang performed my son's circumcision in the hospital. Once it healed, our pediatrician noticed something was wrong and referred us to a specialist. It turned out my son had hypospadias, a condition that should have been identified before a circumcision. Because it wasn't, he now has to undergo surgery for both the hypospadias and a circumcision revision. I am thankful every day that my baby is healthy. But this entire experience was traumatic, and I hope sharing it helps another parent avoid what I went through. If you ever feel dismissed, pressured, or ignored by your provider, please trust your instincts and seek a second opinion. You deserve care that is compassionate, ethical, and safe.

Fora Fertility Saved Us…read more We began our IVF journey in Dallas, and after our second egg retrieval, we were told that a gestational carrier was our only option due to lining issues. After consulting with many doctors, we decided to meet with Dr. Crawford. We had learned about her early on through her fertility masterclass, but because her clinic was in Austin, we never thought of her as an option. Three years after that masterclass, when we had nearly lost hope and longed for a doctor who would truly believe in us, we scheduled a consultation. From the very first moment we met Dr. Crawford she treated us like humans, not just a number. Moreover, she had reviewed three years worth of notes, exams and labs ahead of meeting with us, so she could bring an informed set of questions to our discussion. Unlike others, she did not believe a gestational carrier was our next step. Instead, she immediately created a plan to get us to a transfer. After a minor procedure and a more natural approach to an FET, we transferred one of our embryos, and it stuck. I am now 12 weeks pregnant!! Words cannot capture the compassion and flexibility the team showed us, especially since we were traveling from several hours away. Dr. Crawford, her nurse Hannah, and the wonderful staff, including Rikki and Melissa, have left a lasting impact on our lives. I was first scheduled for a short virtual consult that lasted about 10 minutes. The doctor showed slides with statistics about conception by age and essentially told us we were young and healthy and should have no trouble conceiving. This cost a specialist copay up front, which felt impersonal and unhelpful. Next, I was scheduled for a FemVue and ultrasound, which required $500 upfront. During the procedure, the doctor briefly commented that it looked like I had a "heart-shaped uterus or a septum," and then left the room without explaining what that meant. If you've ever Googled those terms, you know how frightening they sound. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety for me, especially since I wasn't given any explanation or reassurance. We also paid $200 for my husband's labs and never received any results -- not even a follow-up call. When my insurance lapsed, the clinic wanted another $300 for a short follow-up virtual consult just to discuss results. At that point I started to feel like their priority was billing, not patient care. Once I had new coverage, I got a second opinion at another clinic (which was actually in-network). The difference was night and day. The new doctor spent 30 minutes with us in person, went through our TTC history and health in detail, and outlined a clear plan. She ordered an HSG (not FemVue), explained why, and later confirmed via ultrasound that my uterus is completely normal with no septum or abnormal shape. She even mentioned that FemVue is often billed as an office procedure because it reimburses better, but it doesn't actually give much useful diagnostic information. Looking back, I feel misled and frustrated with how the first clinic handled my care. I want to warn others to be cautious--especially if you feel like you're being pushed into expensive procedures without clear explanations or next steps. Fertility treatment is already an emotional journey, and patients deserve thorough communication and ethical care.
