Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. I also had the privilege of having a couple of covering visits by Dr. Hansard and Dr Vaughn, who were excellent! I was met with compassion and patience at the visits with both of them. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.

I went and was charged $300 as a "deposit" but I never saw claims filed to insurance nor did I get a refund from said deposit. Let's not forget to mention almost daily ultrasounds. Maybe that's where the $300 went to? in addition to the hour long waits for a 5 minute visit. All this while trying to keep my job and explain why I needed to see the dr almost daily. I went with the intention of getting lab work run and starting with pills (clomid or femara) as my obgyn didnt do this part. I was never allowed to do this as I was told It wouldnt work. (how do we know that?) Was sent to get an hsg without a negative pregnancy test in hand. (couldnt possibly be the first time they've sent someone to the ARA but they wouldnt help me so that was a waste of PTO, time and getting stuck in 5 oclock traffic unnecessarily. I had to drive bk to their clinic, get a blood draw so I could try again on yet another day. ) Not only was I not able to get a script for pills, I was told i should start with IVF. I absolutely refused and somehow this compromise was an IUI. What I should have done was walk out. But i let this dr talk me into an iui. $3300 later and who knows how many trips to the specialty pharmacy 30 miles away, I had a failed iui and a data breach bc someone left a laptop in their car. The final straw was being told my next step would be ivf or ovarian drilling. nope. nope. nope. I'm out. I ended up putting a pin in all this and ended up getting pregnant naturally about a year after I stopped going to this office but I still get chills everytime I see the exit off mopac. In summation, i will say he was super aggressive and seemed like he wanted everyone to get pregnant... but at what cost? I also want to mention I got a shot of vitamins (allegedly) that was above my hip that really aggravated my sciatic nerve... just be cautious. I thought I had a blood clot at first, but being that I am a runner I had it checked out to rule out any bigger problems. I ended up going to a different infertility dr who has now since retired but I wish I had gone to him first. If you do go here, I hope you are treated better than I was.

Dr Prokai does an amazing job at guiding you through your options and really listens to your needs and wants. During the crazy winter storm Dr Prokai showed up and kept things on track for all the patients, a true hero for parents to be. It's been one week since my miscarriage and I cant' stop crying. I came to aspire in February (well…read moredid all of my paperwork through their stupid portal) and began our process. I met my doctor through a video call in the beginning. Went over a few things like my past miscarriage and PCOS. After completing my bloodwork to confirm the hormone imbalance from the PCOS and completing my HSG test (came back clear), there was an obvious issue with high prolactin. I repeated the labs 2 more times, it was still high. I'm told by the doctor on a quick video call again that I will be getting an MRI on my brain. I felt pretty in shock and didn't really have time for questions. My anxiety was through the roof. Do I have a tumor or what? I ended up trying to ask questions about it through the dreaded portal that sometimes didn't even open. I didn't get a reply for a few days and any answer I would get looked like it was copied and pasted. My MRI reveals a rathkes cleft causing the high prolactin. When I tried asking for more information on what it is, the nurse was so annoyed on the portal that I ended up doing my own research. The nurse tells me a couple days later I have a prescription for cabergolibe to stop the high prolactin. I was nervous to take the medication as nobody told me really anything about it. But I took it anyway because it's part of the process. I was told by the pharmacy to not take it anymore if I became pregnant. Surely that wouldn't happen, we hadn't even worked on my messed up hormones, right....? Wrong. A month later I find im pregnant on July 3rd. What should have been a happy time turned so dark and cold fast. I was excited to message whoever was on the other end of the portal about my pregnancy and getting some blood draws to monitor the pregnancy since I'm high risk. The website even boasts about how amazing they are monitoring your early pregnancy and the care they give until it was time for my first OB appointment (which everyone knows isn't usually until 8-10 weeks). All I received was a congratulations and that I had been graduated to go see my obgyn. When I said I didn't have the ability to see one yet and if I could get some help during the early pregnancy because I was scared, I was told no and that was for an obgyn. I was in such disbelief. Every day I was so worried holding my stomach and counting the days until I could be seen. My obgyn said she would see me because 3 days prior I had a panic attack and visited planned parenthood due to my heart racing in the middle of the night. Something felt wrong. I showed the images from PP to compared to the ultrasound they were giving me. No heart beat, no growth, low progesterone. Even though I shouldn't be shocked because I knew my progesterone was low, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a chance my baby could have been saved with the monitoring I was promised. I was given medication that was painful to help move along the process and by 48 hours I was staring at my gestational sac in the shower. Absolutely traumatized. When I told them I'd like my medical records because I didn't want to try anymore, they could care less. Nobody asked if I needed to speak with anyone or if I was ok. Just another message in the portal. Just another person who lost a baby. I should have even warned the cabergoline could make pregnant so fast. That way I could have protected myself until my PCOS was treated properly. Knowing my progesterone was low, they should have monitored me to intervene with raising the levels or being able to recognize earlier this pregnancy wasn't viable. Instead I suffered for over a month and am still suffering now. Instead my 5 month with them, I saw real humans twice to take my blood. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I have consulted with legal counsel and have learned that my case is not an isolated incident. With nearly 20 years of experience in the medical field, I have never encountered a physician with such poor bedside manner, dishonesty, malpractice, and disregard for follow-up care. I underwent what was supposed to be a routine fibroid removal surgery with Dr. Hansard, only to discover at my two-week follow-up appointment that she had performed a different surgical procedure, informing me, "I am very sorry, but you will need to contact a surrogate." This was after myself and my mother requesting nothing to be done if she discovered a fibroid was not the issue. She went against my wishes and even changed my consent form. This shocking news was delivered to my mother, who was left to explain the situation in Dr. Hansard's absence. I have never in 20 years known a surgeon to perform a procedures other than what a patient consented to then LEAVE the hospital without explanation. When I finally had my 2 week follow up, I asked why she didn't inform me herself or hadn't returned my calls. To which she said " I was on vacation." At my two week follow I expressed my concern with right calf pain and pain at my incision site. Dr. Hansard NEVER examined me. She had me in a consulation room on a couch and sat approx 10 feet away from me. Walked me out front and discharged me. A few days later I ended up in the emergency room, then admitted to the ICU. With the following: sepsis, abdominal abscess, dvt, PE & heart issues. I was a healthy 36 year old female seeking my first child. Despite my critical condition and subsequent 15-day hospitalization in the ICU due to sepsis, deep vein thrombosis, and multiple pulmonary embolisms, Dr. Hansard failed to provide adequate care that could have resulted in my death. As a result of her negligence, I am now unable to conceive children. Dr. Hansard has failed to initiate any form of contact or offer follow-up care. I was first scheduled for a short virtual consult that lasted about 10 minutes. The doctor showed slides with statistics about conception by age and essentially told us we were young and healthy and should have no trouble conceiving. This cost a specialist copay up front, which felt impersonal and unhelpful. Next, I was scheduled for a FemVue and ultrasound, which required $500 upfront. During the procedure, the doctor briefly commented that it looked like I had a "heart-shaped uterus or a septum," and then left the room without explaining what that meant. If you've ever Googled those terms, you know how frightening they sound. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety for me, especially since I wasn't given any explanation or reassurance. We also paid $200 for my husband's labs and never received any results -- not even a follow-up call. When my insurance lapsed, the clinic wanted another $300 for a short follow-up virtual consult just to discuss results. At that point I started to feel like their priority was billing, not patient care. Once I had new coverage, I got a second opinion at another clinic (which was actually in-network). The difference was night and day. The new doctor spent 30 minutes with us in person, went through our TTC history and health in detail, and outlined a clear plan. She ordered an HSG (not FemVue), explained why, and later confirmed via ultrasound that my uterus is completely normal with no septum or abnormal shape. She even mentioned that FemVue is often billed as an office procedure because it reimburses better, but it doesn't actually give much useful diagnostic information. Looking back, I feel misled and frustrated with how the first clinic handled my care. I want to warn others to be cautious--especially if you feel like you're being pushed into expensive procedures without clear explanations or next steps. Key details were overlooked, leaving me feeling unheard and unsupported during a critical time. While the clinic's medical credentials are strong, the level of emotional support was lacking. We experienced some other practical drawbacks due to Fora's small size: Insurance navigation: When our prior authorization was denied, Fora offered no advocacy or guidance beyond suggesting we pay out of pocket. A larger clinic later helped us secure coverage. Limited resources: With only two physicians, second opinions are harder to access, and reduced holiday staffing worsened an already stressful situation for us. While Fora may be a good fit for some, I would suggest anyone considering them to think carefully about whether their smaller size and communication style align with your needs. We have since transitioned to another clinic where we have received care far more in line with our expectations.

Do not go here. This…read moreclinic is a completely different place than it was when Dr. Debo was there. They lost their only truly excellent fertility doctor years ago, and now they have OB-GYNs without fertility board certification providing care at the same premium price. The approach is completely one-size-fits-all. Patients are pushed through the system like cattle. There is no individualized care. When I tried to discuss what had worked for us previously--the protocol that resulted in the birth of our son--I was told that this new doctor (a sub from the Dallas clinic) does things the same way for everyone. Apparently personalized fertility treatment is no longer a priority. After our transfer failed, they called to tell me I was no longer pregnant. Less than an hour later, I received a $5,500 bill for the next cycle. There was no discussion about my loss, no conversation about next steps, no attempt to understand how I wanted to move forward. Just an invoice. I am now transferring to a smaller clinic in Austin that actually provides individualized care, and Kindbody has made the process unnecessarily difficult. I completed all required paperwork, yet I am being told I must wait nearly two months for a 10-15 minute "protocol call" simply to give permission--again--to transfer my embryos. I find it hard to believe that a phone call requiring a simple yes or no cannot be accommodated sooner. One employee even told me there are "so many people transferring their embryos to other clinics right now." When I responded that this didn't seem like a good sign for Kindbody, she immediately tried to walk it back. That interaction spoke volumes. The lack of personal care became especially obvious during my second transfer cycle. Patients are literally referred to as "batches." You'll hear staff talk about your batch and how many women are in it. The waiting room is packed before 7 a.m. because they continue taking on more and more patients without providing the level of care those patients deserve. At the end of the day, Kindbody feels like a business focused on volume, not families. Fertility treatment is one of the most emotional, vulnerable, and expensive experiences a person can go through. Patients deserve compassion, communication, and individualized treatment. I experienced very little of that here. Save your money, your time, and your emotional well-being. There are far better fertility clinics out there.

For starters, their communication sucks, relying solely on messages through their internal system…read moreinstead of contacting me directly. On top of that, when my wife was going through a two week long procedure, I had to take off of work to care for her during and after the procedure. I requested Kindbody to fill out FMLA paperwork to cover me for being out to take care of my wife and they refused to do so, saying that "the male gender is not eligible for FMLA." So, what I am getting from this is that I am not going to be covered for taking care of my wife during the time she is going through any medical treatment from this company. Do NOT use Kindbody if you do not have someone else that can care for your spouse during treatments in your absence.
