Where do I begin? I would give zero stars if I could. I went to Dr. Pagete due to having a fibroid I wished to have removed. I also had a LOT of symptoms. When I explained my symptoms I don't think she listened very much. I then had a hysteroscopy to remove my fibroid. The day after I went to the ER and much to much surprise, the fibroid was still there, alone with a cyst. I went to see her six weeks later and told her about my excessive bleeding, the fact that my uterus seemed to have tilted overnight, and of course my fibroid the exact same size. She brushed off ALL of my symptoms (and did not respond to my questions on the patient portal) and refused to do a sonogram to look at the fibroid again. She said she'd look at it three months later, when I think she would have blamed it growing back on time and not her surgery error. She also, without even looking at my cyst, said it was nothing. Fast forward to two months later when I go to the ER in extreme pain. I still have my giant fibroid and that cyst they think twisted but untwisted. I finally got see a credible doctor, and he tells me the type of fibroid I have cannot be surgically removed with a hysteroscopy. He said even the best surgeon can't because it's intramural with a slight submucosal bulge. He said she managed to shave 2 cm off one side, but I still had a 5x6x4 fibroid. He also said she wasted my money attempting that surgery and she should have known that, that fibroid could not be removed and shaving one side down would give no relief of symptoms. Also, the cyst she said was nothing, was now 5 cm too. So I essentially have a cantaloupe in me. My awesome new doctor preformed a Da Vince surgery and low and behold, I had endometriosis so bad my uterus was fused to my colon and he almost had to remove part of my colon. He said that's why my uterus tilted and she shouldn't have ignored me when I mentioned it. Second, I had stage 4 endometriosis which explains all my other symptoms she ignored. Third, my ovarian cyst was so bad my ovary and fallopian tube had to be removed. The doctor said it was a mess in there. That's the cyst she said was nothing. And everything else she said was nothing. Not to mention I wasted $5000 on a surgery that couldn't even help me to begin with. I considered a medical malpractice suit but after all that I just don't have the energy. I had a follow up appointment with her that I cancelled via voicemail, and she sent me a bill for a no show fee that's illegal. I cancelled with plenty of time it's not my fault they don't check the voicemail. So no, she will not be getting that money, especially since I had to have a second surgery two months later before I died of blood loss. read more

When I checked my email that same day there was a response to my initial inquiry about the recovery time that was the previous week. I have attached it here so I don't misquote her. Keep in mind the day of my initial appointment when we discussed this I was in shock and did not realize we were going to have to do a surgery to fix what I had going on. All I really wanted was some clarification since the brochures that she provided did not accurately explain what she said was going to happen. In addition to that her staff was trying to encourage me to have one of the procedures done in office which is supposed to be under general anesthesia and not in an outpatient surgery facility. I was informed it would be a $600 to the anesthesiologist which was not covered under insurance. All I can say to their practices is there were red flags all over the place and others should beware. read more

After being worried that something was going on when trying to conceive, we told Dr Pagette and without a moments hesitation she ran every test possible leading to a small diagnosis as to why we weren't getting pregnant. When it came time to see our endocrinologist who wasn't going to be able to get us in for MONTHS, Dr. Pagette was able to step in and get us in within a couple weeks. In the hospital she was our best advocate for any small thing we needed. We felt so confident having her on our side. After all these amazing things and after delivering our perfectly healthy baby boy, I can say I wouldn't have any other dr! My husband and I jokingly told Dr Pagette she can't retire until we're done having kids, little does she know we are very serious! read more

I started going here in 2020 when I found out I was pregnant, I was very happy but also concerned because in 2019 I had an eptopic pregnancy that was mis diagnosed at another office &led me to have to get emergency surgery to remove my Fallopian tube. When I found Dr pagette & I explained my situation and they got me in right away. This pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but Dr. Pagette was great through the whole experience and mentioned if I got pregnant again they would get me in right away because of my history. Now it's 2022 I find out I'm pregnant and I call mockingbird right away to get in asap as we discussed but was unable to because Dr. Pagette was out of town I explained my situation and the receptionist saw the clinical not to get me in but stated since she was out of the office there wasn't much she could do until she was able to speak with Dr. Pagette. I was pretty early on and things felt ok so I booked what I could. A week later I started to feel some stomach pain and called back mockingbird on & The lady on the phone said the doctor was still out & she said if it gets worse to go to urgent care. The pressure/pain went away but then the next week I had some bleeding so right away I call mockingbird &STILL no doctor she informed me to go to urgent care. Once I got to urgent care my HCG count was lower than expected and the ultra sound didn't look quite right & Because of my prior experience and now only having 1 Fallopian tube & not wanting to mis diagnose me as another miscarriage if it was eptopic (which is easy to do early on) she sent me to the hospital to get checked. The hospital ran a few test and wanted to speak with my obgyn to get her take on the next steps and they could do surgery to look inside but if it wasn't an eptopic pregnancy it could terminate an early pregnancy I spoke with a specialist there &we decided for me to get bloodwork and ultrasound in 48 hrs. My HCG count results were lower and the bleeding stoppped so the emergency room Dr said to get in with your obgyn ASAP. I go to mockingbird 2 days later & the front desk right away said we will need to collect $150 down for the doctor to see you. Which I understand but after going through everything I went through in the last few weeks with this office already and me having to go to urgent care and the emergency room twice & for things I would normally get done at my normal ob office already put a bad taste in my mouth but I figured I was just being hormonal and paid. Then after the ultrasound with dr Padgette she comes to the conclusion that it is another eptopic & I will need to have surgery the next day she explains everything very well and also apologized for being out of the office the previous week. As she walks me out she speaks with the front desk/office manager again to tell her that I will need to be added to the next day surgery schedule because it's an emergency, and you can tell she is very annoyed, which I understand is very annoying to put someone on a surgical schedule asap but the face she made and she tells dr pagette idk if I can do that it's already to late and Dr pagette responded telling her it had to be done it's an emergency and she huffed and rolled her eyes. Her attitude towards the doctor IN FRONT of me was shocking and I was sad & scared then to be treated like I was putting her in a bind was the worst. I was able to have the surgery but did in fact loose my other Fallopian tube and now the only way I am able to conceive is with IVF . I do appreciate Dr. Pagette and she explained everything very well and she did he best to save the Fallopian tube but it was just to late. I don't blame this office for my situation im just upset about how the handled everything I understand they deal with this all the time &it's just business as usual but for me as a patient I was scared, worried &felt like I was just another number &not a patient that they cared about and to not have any other doctor on call for her patients when she is out for two weeks was extremely concerning... it makes me question what if I was 6 months pregnant & something happened would there be anyone there who could help me. It can be scary finding a new doctor that you can trust. I have been to a few Ob/gynecologists, and I must say I would trust Dr. Padgette with anything! I went to her for a few years after I turned 16, but I had to move....which was so sad! I am finally back and have been seeing her for the past year. Dr. Pagette is an incredible doctor. She had been my doctor for almost fifteen years. She has delivered all three of my healthy babies and quite literally saved my life when (unbeknownst to me) I had preeclampsia during my last pregnacy. Dr Pagette was my doctor for my first pregnancy. I was referred to her by a relative. I liked that she was older and had experience and confidence. She didn't have the most advanced technology (no 3D ultrasounds for example) or online appointments or portal, but what mattered more to my husband and me was her skill and compassion and trying her best to understand and support our wishes as safely as possible. As a healthy pregnant woman without complications, I can say that all in all the appointments went fine and it was nice that the office never seemed busy or made me wait long. She was generally chipper and calm during our appointments which was appealing. At the end of the end of the pregnancy when baby didn't come by due date, we felt that our questions about the possibility of waiting for natural labor to begin even just a few days past 40 or 41 weeks were not welcomed by Dr Pagette and that she got a little flustered or uncomfortable about our questions. From my personal experience, Dr Pagette will accidentally forget some details such as gender of the baby and whether or not you want to know, and we had the general feeling of forgetfulness. Our first results to check if our pregnancy was going well she called and said the baby's levels weren't good and sadly it wouldn't continue--my heart sunk-- and then she said, no wait, she read it upside down and the baby was fine. That was a horrible rollercoaster moment I'll never forget. From our personal experience with the actual labor and birth she leans heavily towards medical intervention. If your baby isn't in the "right" position, it's not like other birthing positions or labor techniques will be tried unless your midwife or nurses help you. While we obviously didn't choose a home birth experience, we were hoping for the most natural experience possible for health benefits of the baby and mom. We wanted a doctor to more actively and supportively help us achieve this goal and to help our baby get into position for vaginal birth than what we experienced with Dr Pagette. We are grateful the unplanned c-section that became necessary by Dr Pagette turned out where baby and mom were healthy in the end. However, the experience left us feeling very mournful over the actual labor experience and how traumatizing it ended up being. What could be prevented/not prevented, what was necessary or not, of course we will never know-- we can only stay positive and grateful we are all alive and physically healthy after a slow c-section recovery. We know Dr Pagette just did the best she could and followed her own instinct and policies the best she could to have what she deemed the safest outcome, which we respect, and her methods may work just fine for some. But the trauma and feeling over the birth experience itself takes time to heal emotionally, for my husband and me. Later, after switching to a provider that meets our needs excellently, getting our medical records sent to our current doctor was a total nightmare. Although all records were requested, not all were sent, after repeated attempts from my doctors office to theirs. When I visited in person to get the ones not sent to the doctor, they had them already printed but insisted on charging the full amount they can legally charge, $61, for their trouble to print them, even though it was due to their office error that they weren't sent in full to my doctor in the first place. They also told me my doctors' office hadn't actually requested all the records, but once I showed them a copy of the original request they said they changed their story and said, wait, actually they sent them all the second time (my doctors office didn't receive it) and now we have to try to get them sent again while I could go in labor the second time any moment. My husband spoke to Dr Pagette over the phone while I stood there in person in front of her, and rather than showing any signs of caring about the unnecessary inconvenience and stress of just trying to get my own records, she just stated, she's allowed to charge that amount and that's what we'd have to pay to get them in person. Coming from a background in customer service myself, I found it surprising that she would rather insist on $61 despite her office's mistakes than show a small courtesy to a patient who had paid thousands to her and to at the minimum apologize for the inconvenience of needing to send the files again to my doctor. She actually walked off away from me and shut the door behind her. If you are a patient of hers I certainly hope you receive the best she can offer and that you have an excellent experience, but overall the forgetfulness, the high level of medical intervention, the extremely disappointing level of reasonableness regarding customer service was a deal-breaker for us. read more

I don't know HOW / WHY medical professionals feel that this is OK to do in 2015, using their monopoly power and taking advantage of the natural fears (rational and irrational) of expectant parents to demand payment MONTHS in advance and essentially coerce expectant parents into LOANING them money. Wow...I can't say enough good things about Dr. Pagette and her staff. I became pregnant last August and was searching for an OBGYN. I looked on Yelp and decided to take a chance on Mockingbird. This was my first pregnancy so I was extremely nervous about how I would like Dr. Pagette. During our first appointment we talked for about an hour. I had a list of questions for her and she went through them all with me. Not once did she rush to get to the next appointment. I felt like she really took the time to walk me through everything. She had such a positive attitude which made me feel so comfortable. After this first appointment I knew she was the doctor for me! Throughout my entire pregnancy she and her staff took such great care of me. I love how they all knew me by name. It really made me feel like they cared. There were times when I expressed some concerns or fears about things going on with my body and Dr. Pagette was always there to ease my mind and take care of me. Everyone here is so bubbly and positive...it truly made my first pregnancy experience wonderful. One of the most important things to me was how thorough Dr. Pagette was with everything. I told her at the beginning of my pregnancy that I wanted a c-section because my family is known for large babies. With my body type I didn't feel a vaginal birth would be safe if the baby was big. Dr. Pagette told me that she was ok with whatever birth plan I chose as long as it's safe for both myself and the baby. After my delivery I found out she even had a reputation at the hospital for having a very thorough recovery checkup for her patients. This made me feel so great because that reassured me that she wanted to make sure every part of me was recovering correctly. This was especially important to me since I had a c-section. I was in the hospital for 4 days and Dr. Pagette was there every morning to check on me before she went to work at her office. Honestly, when it comes down to it Dr. Pagette and her staff are truly amazing and they made my first pregnancy experience so enjoyable. Excellent bedside manners, calm, conservative in her approach, approachable, personable and down to earth. I moved to Austin from California and was sad and nervous to start over with new practitioners. I have been a patient of Dr. Pagette for over four years and have received the same professional and consistent care from her,as well as her staff. I feel she allows flexibility, listens to your personal requests and does her best to follow through, given you and the baby or body, are not at risk. Her years of experience allow her the ability to remain calm under stressful situations as to not worry the patient. She is also, from my experience a fantastic supervisor to her med interns, as I've allowed for them to take part in the majority of my appointment and my last delivery:) I had an induction set up the day following Super Bowl Sunday this past year, with my second child and went into labor the night before. When I arrived at the hospital I was immediately taken care of and About an hour or so in Dr, Pagette walks in unexpectedly in her jeans and sweatshirt to check in on me. She had been at her office working late that night and decided to drop what she was doing to visit with me, after receiving a call. Wow! She then asked if we wanted to go through the induction right at that moment or if I wanted to rest, being it was after 9pm and let nature take its course. I decided I needed to rest since I had been experiencing some intense labor pains for the past few hours. I had already received my epidural and was finally comfortable under the given circumstances. I have always felt comfortable discussing personal matters with Dr. Pagette and hold her with high regard. I had been eating lunch with my husband a couple of years ago at Mama Fu's and overheard a group of ladies, which appeared to have worked under her, talking about her in the most positive manner. They ranted about how down to earth she was and how awesome she was. That just confirmed that I had found my match. Of course she may not be the right fit for some and that is just fine. Everyone has a preference and personal expectations. She is human and she's going to make mistakes and she may forget like we all do. That's what makes her unique and down to earth. If you prefer robot doctors that lack bedside manners and take a different approach, then Dr. Pagette is not a good fit for you. I believe some people are quick to critique and judge quickly when things don't go as they expected or of course when there are financial issues involved it becomes about that, rather than what matters most. It's all in your approach. If you choose to walk into a professional office defensively and feel entitled,attempt to threaten to get what you want, I'd walk away too. It's called over stepping boundaries. After addressing matters like that, as a professional, I'd think this is trouble and I rather not deal with these people. It's the luxury of having your own practice. I can understand this working several years in customer service and in professional environments and now I can say through my personal experience that you will never please everybody, it's impossible. At times people bring their own personal baggage with them and dump it on the person on the other end. It's just, unfortunately the way society works. So, if you're looking for a down to earth, personable, but professional female OBGYN, I have to recommend Dr.Pagette. My only complaint was that I was not prescribed birth control at my 6 week post check up and am now having difficulties getting birth control due to my insurance change that mockingbird doesn't accept. This office cares more about money than patient care. I had my annual exam, paid in full (as self pay, so it was almost $400 when everything was said and done). Some results came back abnormal. I tried to schedule an appointment and had been a patient in good standing for over 4 years, and asked if I could bill ONE visit to go over abnormal results and was told not to come back until I had money. In those exact words. They literally told me that I might have cancer but they wouldn't discuss it until I could pay for the visit in full, despite the fact that three days prior I had paid around $400, and this visit would've been almost $300. My doctor can never remember anything about my pregnancy, the staff is rude and on the 3 occasions that I have called to speak to my doctor I have been shuffled off to her assistant, who clearly acts like she could care less! I went to this facility when my doctor moved her practice there for a short period of time. Their front desk and billing departments are very disorganized and not actually able to address basic questions/issues. It started when I showed up for my appointment and was told, "oops - it seems the person that scheduled your exam looked at the wrong system and booked you for a time when your physician is not in the office." When I asked when did they realize that happened, I got a blank stare and told they realized it this morning and "tried to call me". I pulled out my phone and it showed no missed calls, so I asked who tried to call me and when. I was told "oh, I'm sure we tried to call you." When questioned further, the lady admitted she didn't know if they called me or not when the scheduling error was discovered. When I tried to reschedule, it was several weeks from my original "scheduled" appointment time as now the system was not allowing them to schedule when the appointment time shows available. Sounds like something out of a sit-com, right? Only this is not funny as I has to take time away from work to make the appointment that wasn't actually an appointment. Fast forward to present time. I have now been dealing with them for 2 months shy of a year over a billing issue that started because they were supposedly transferring database systems and had my information entered into 2 systems. They can see where I paid my bill, and acknowledge they can see where the bill was paid. I have sent the receipt more than once (that was printed from their system, per their request) to verify the bill has been paid (even though they can see it was paid). They claim to "fix" the billing issue and then a few months go by and here comes another bill for the same thing. Every time I call, I get a different excuse for why there is yet another bill for a service that was paid for in 2018. It seems like they are trying to rig the insurance/patient system to get money for services that were not actually provided by providing additional billing codes to the insurance companies so it triggers additional payments owed. They should really be audited by the Department of Insurance. I'm fairly certain their records would fail a basic audit. My physician has left that facility (hallelujah!!), yet the office staff from Mockingbird claim they have no way to contact my doctor (so you're saying you do not know how to use a phone; odd because I'm talking to you on the phone) to "correct" the billing. I asked them why they needed to contact my physician when the bill is coming from their department and I'm told it's because my doctor provided the service. I agree that yes, my doctor provided the service, but the bill is coming from this office. In good faith effort, I contacted my physician's office and was told that Mockingbird has all of the billing information from that time period and will not allow my physician's office to have access to the information. So it appears there is an issue with the two businesses and some serious pettiness going on. I'm not sure why their issues are being transferred to the customer, oh wait, that would be bonus points awarded for poor customer service. All of this would be funny if I was watching it on a television show. Sigh... This poor mismanagement of basic paperwork (scheduling, billing) has me concerned they may have mismanaged more important medical paperwork/records during all of this process. This is a poor reflection of a "business" that not only provides inaccurate information to a paying customer, but apparently feels it is fine to make up information on the spot like the customer has no clue what should actually occur under this situation. If you are looking for good customer service, this is NOT the place. If you're looking for integrity, look elsewhere. If you want to be given the run-around for months on end, listen to various excuses regarding why things can't be completed/updated, and then blatantly lied to - then look no further, this is the place for you! I'm aware customer service is at an all time low, but I had no idea there were live auditions taking place at this facility to prove this point beyond a shadow of a doubt. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Go at your own risk. I can see from the other reviews on here that I'm not the only person with a story like this. read more

I have been going to Dr. Pagette for almost 5 years now, and I really like her. She was recommended to me by a friend when I was pregnant with my last child. She is a great doctor. She is proactive in her patient care and really listens to what you have to say. She will spend as long as necessary to discover all your symptoms and diagnose any issues. I am actually about to have my second surgery with her and I trust her completely. Her staff are all awesome, friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. You know how some doctor's offices and staff can not be bothered? You will never feel that at this practice. They just moved to a really nice office and she now has another doctor in her practice too. read more

I absolutely adore Dr. Duncan! She is the first gynecologist that I have had that actually stays in the room longer than five minutes! EVERY appointment I have with her, she takes the time to talk to me and explain what is going on. She is thorough, patient and a real sweetheart. I have recommended her to my girlfriends and my friend has an appointment with her in a couple of weeks! The practice is in a nice area and the office is very nice. I never wait longer than 10 minutes and she is always available when I call and need to talk to her about something. She actually calls back with test results, not the nurse! If anyone is looking for a new gynecologist, give her a shot. You won't be disappointed! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Pagette's since I was 16- roughly 8 years. I absolutely love her as a doctor and I think she is great. This is for her staff. For the past month I have been trying to get in to see her. This should not be hard to do as I have been a patient for so long. My first appointment was October 1st. I drove 20 minutes and was told that Dr. Pagette was running two hours behind. Not a big deal, except it would have been nice to receive a phone call before I had to drive. I rescheduled another appointment for today, October 22 at 11:30. I got there 5 minutes early and signed in. No one spoke to me. The girl in front of me was playing on her phone and showing the girl next to her pictures. 10 minutes later I got asked to sign a form about my insurance. 30 minutes later Dr. Pagette's nurse comes to me and says, "Dr. Pagette is running two hours behind. Would you like to wait or reschedule?" I explained that I had already been through this 3 weeks before. She apologized and was sincere about it. I was more frustrated with the ladies at the front desk. I explained that I did not have time for this and that I would call back later. I left. This is absolutely ridiculous. I believe her staff is overbooking the patients! In fact, her nurse explained that they were very overbooked today. Also- I have been trying to get in for my annual exam so Dr. Pagette can provide me with 12 month prescription for my birth control, my birth control prescription ran out at my pharmacy back in September. I have had to call Dr. Pagette's office twice to get two more months worth of my birth control before she let's me continue on with another year because she needs to see me first. When I called, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, and their phones kept hanging up on me. This happened twice. When I finally was able to speak to someone, they promised they would send over a new one month prescription to my pharmacy. Great! I no longer cared about being hung up on because I had a solution... Except it didn't happen. I had called Mockingbird on a Friday morning. I called HEB that evening to check on the status of my refill. They hadn't received anything. I had to call Mockingbird again the next Monday to get my refill. Dr. Pagette and her team went above and beyond at every step of my pregnancy and throughout the delivery of my first child. Despite having a complicated situation (I live overseas and came back to the U.S. for the final trimester and birth only), Dr. Pagette was willing to take me on as a patient and her staff worked to ensure I was well taken care of. Dr. Pagette is extremely friendly, approachable and professional, and really took the time to answer any and all questions I had (which was many for my first pregnancy! :) Her calm demeanor and experience were a huge comfort throughout labor. The Mockingbird office is warm and convenient to get to. I have had several appointments at Mockingbird with Dr. Pagette and have always received exceptional care. The staff are all so kind and Dr. Pagette always takes as much time is needed to explain treatment options, procedures and answer any questions. She even gave me directions on how to find the women's center at the hospital to make sure I was comfortable in finding where I needed to go. Dr. Pagette delievered my firstborn at Round Rock Medical Center. She was professional and kind. She did a perfect job of explaining to me the progress of my labor and the state of my child, how she was controlling the situation, and what I needed to do. When there were opportunities for decisions, she presented the options to me and patiently waited for instruction. I feel she was gentle in her delivery approach as opposed to a hurried or agressive approach to treatment. Dr. Pagette helped make a special day a wonderful experience. read more

Dr. Pagette is one amazing doctor! I'll be honest, I'm quite a high maintenance and demanding patient and for me to write something like means you have to be GREAT. She delivered my first baby 4.5 years ago and everything went smooth even though I had some risk factors while being pregnant. She was caring, attentive and nice about everything. For example, after I started running fever a week after the delivery, she even called me from her cell phone to make sure I was ok. Today I was looking up her address and stumbled upon some negative reviews here and decide that as a loyal patient for about 11 years, I have to comment on that. I don't know where those negative reviews are coming from: complaining that she pays enough attention to the patient and people don't like it - doesn't make sense at all... Of course, if they hire new doctors and switch system, there will be some milestones to overcome. Sometimes, we don't know what the practice has to deal with behind the scenes and we jump to conclusions, I'm saying this because I know how hard is to deal with changes and run the entire office at the same time. As a nurse, I picked Dr Pagette from many local OBs because I felt like she was available to her patients, always aware of all aspects of her patients and easy to talk to. This is more of a comment-- not a review! I called Mockingbird Clinic in search of an appt. Jennifer answered the phone and was super friendly right off the bat. She gave me all the information I needed to know and even asked about my insurance to make sure I was in network so I wouldn't encounter any additional fees! When she gave me available dates, I mentioned wanting to get in quicker and instead of giving me an "oh well" attitude, she explained why they were all booked up and gave me a referral in case I really needed to get in quickly. She went above and beyond my expectations and her customer service will make me come back! Thank you Jennifer--- I really appreciate you! My wife and I tend to use yelp for almost everything. I figured I would write this review from a male perspective. However, my wife reviewed it to give it the final approval. You can tell from my profile I do not write many reviews, but was so pleased with our experience I had to. My wife and I recently welcomed a baby girl into this world. From the beginning, Dr. Pagette and her staff were very welcoming and helpful. It got to a point were they knew my wife would arrive first for her appointments and I would arrive shortly after. Upon arrival they would then promptly show me to the room my wife was in. I was appreciative of this. Some reviews do not seem too happy with Dr. Pagette's staff, but it looks like those reviews are from a couple years back. Tammy, Brenda, and Jennifer were all great. As a first time parent I had tons of questions. Dr. Pagette always found the time to answer them and not make me feel like a complete moron. Believe me, I asked a ton of questions. Dr. Pagette always treated my wife and I very well and took the time with us. I know understand how appointments can get thrown off schedule. When you have someone like me in the room asking questions or other emergency situations it happens. As a new parent with a lot of questions I found Dr. Pagette's response time to after hour challenges very prompt. On three occasions I called Dr. Pagette's office after hours and spoke to a live person who then contacted Dr. Pagette to follow up with us. The response time and after hours service was helpful. As a husband I found it comforting to know I could call the office after hours and would then receive a prompt call after. Believe me, this helped put me at ease. The office environment is nice and clean--not much to comment on here. As someone who works in education I like the fact that Dr. Pagette mentors future health care professionals. Dr. Pagette and her staff always, I mean always ask permission first if a medical student can observe your appointment. If you do not feel comfortable, no worries, just say no. My wife and I though are firm believers in mentoring, educating, and provided learning opportunities for future medical students---and all students. We all have to learn somehow! We did not mind and actually got to know some of the medical students. When it came to the actual delivery Dr. Pagette delivered our baby girl. In the hospital she was very friendly and on top of her game. Additionally, she came by and checked on us multiple times throughout our stay. I'm well passed the days of having babies so I never thought I'd be back at an ob/gyn as I chose to go with a family doctor for my annual check ups. I developed gynecological issues and my doctor wanted me to go to a gyn. When I asked her for a recommendation she mentioned Dr. Pagette. I can't tell you how impressed I am with Dr. Pagette! On my first visit she listened to me and checked my symptoms. She didn't want me to go under any unneeded treatment so we started with a basic anemia test. I was anemic and so I had an ultrasound right there in the office. Based on those results, Dr. Pagette went through all the options for me. She made me feel extremely comfortable and never pushed me into one direction or the other. After looking at all options, I decided on a hysterectomy. I didn't even realize at the time she was a surgeon and could preform a hysterectomy, but I was thrilled to find out she was! She took extremely good care of me. She answered every question I had and never was condescending or short with me. My husband works at a hospital with doctors every day so he sees many different doctor personalities. When he met Dr. Pagette, he was put immediately at ease and felt she was the perfect surgeon to do my surgery. Dr. Pagette keeps up with modern technologies and new research. In my several appointments with her, I never had a wait. The assistant who weighs and takes blood pressure is really nice. The waiting room is really nicely decorated. My surgery went very well and recovery was easy. I'm 6 weeks post op and no complications at all. I highly recommend Dr. Pagette! read more

I have always referred to Yelp whenever I was looking up a new business I wanted to try, but I have never left a review myself. That being said, I have never felt so amazed that I needed to create an account and leave a review other than for Dr. Pagette, and her amazing staff - Jennifer, Brenda, and Tammy!!! My baby girl is now 3 months and this review is long overdue. I started out my pregnancy in Los Angeles, CA and moved back home to Austin about 3 months in. Being able to compare one Dr. to another left me more impressed with Dr. Pagette. The original Dr. I had made me feel very incompetent when it came to the many questions I had, regarding my first pregnancy. Dr. Pagette genuinely answered all of my questions, and I never felt as though I was bothering her with the list of questions I had. She also called back within a few minutes any time I called her after hours. There was a time I called around midnight, and I needed a prescription. She had it sent over to the pharmacy in no time, and I was able to pick it up within 30 min. There is a list I could go on and on about for her and her staff. There was never a bad visit and I genuinely loved going in for every appointment. My mother in-law even joked that she wanted to get pregnant again so that Dr. Pagette could be her Dr. I even found myself crying the week after giving birth because I missed seeing Dr. Pagette every week. (I'm sure some of that was due to the crazy hormones too.) All in all - If she is still running her practice on baby #2 I will definitely be happy to be her patient again. read more

Dr. Pagette is wonderful! She found a mass in my ovary. She performed a complete hysterectomy with the DaVinci arm. This was an amazing experience. I have 4 scars less than inch long and they are Angel hair thick. I was able to go to work 10 days after my complete hysterectomy. Dr. Pagette is someone I would recommend to my mother or daughter. Her staff is kind, and friendly to work with. The staff at Mockingbird clinic helped me get all of my paperwork arranged and pre approved so that I was able to focuse on getting better. Dr. Pagette and her staff are amazing! This is my first pregnancy and before my first appointment, had some complications and they were beyond accommodating to my calls, questions and concerns. This is exactly what I was looking for in a practice. My husband and I never feel rushed, she answers and thoroughly explains each part of pregnancy and just when you think you are about to ask a "stupid" questions, she reassures you that it's not, which is comforting! My husband loves her and the nurses and we look forward to the rest of our pregnancy and future pregnancies with Dr. Pagette. read more

Dr. Pagette is such a wonderful doctor! She's thorough when it comes to even the slightest problem and she is genuinely sincere and wants to make sure her patients are comfortable. Unfortunately, her office staff is not up to par... not even close. I no longer live in the Round Rock area, but I continue to make the 2 hour drive for exams here, THAT is how much I love Dr. P! Her office staff fails to realize the importance of my time and that I cannot just drive 2 hours for the sake of little things. About a week after an exam, one nurse in particular called me telling me that I needed to come back to sign paper work and I had to make an appointment to hear my test results (I couldn't do it on the phone b/c it was going to be a "long conversation"). When I did get there, there was absolutely no paper work I needed to sign, and my appointment lasted about 2 minutes. Waste of a 4 hour round trip. The week before, that same nurse drew blood for a blood test and wasn't doing it correctly. I decided to be patient and let her figure out what she was doing wrong, but she performed as if she'd never drawn blood before. I ended up with a not so typical bruised forearm. They were supposed to order my Nexplanon on February 21st, as of April 10th I've had to call and chase them down at least 3 times for the status of when it would arrive. Today they finally told me I needed to make a 4 hour round trip to sign that paperwork... that I was told I no longer had to sign a month and a half prior. They have no respect for patients and their time NOR a woman's reproductive health. Do not waste your time here. It's a shame because Dr. P deserves a wonderful office staff. My wife is 28 weeks pregnant and has been seeing this doctor entire pregnancy and enjoyed every visit. We went as a family every time. Our 2 kids love being a part of this pregnancy and watching the ultra sounds . today we had a 2 hour wait and my kids got a little rowdy also accidently opened wrong patients door when returning from bathroom and that patient complained to doctor. After getting home from visit nurse called and told us the doctor said we could not bring kids anymore and my wife needs to come alone. I know this is normal for most people however not for us. We go everywhere as a family and my wife wants us to be there with her. This upset my wife so bad she started crying. I called doctor back to explain the importance of bringing our kids and promised we would keep them in line and nurse did not care. I said we would need to switch doctors if they will not welcome our children and the nurse did not care she told me how to switch doctors. I am just in disbelief that after 30 weeks of pregnancy this office would rather lose a patient than allow kids in there office. They deliver babies. You would think they would be family friendly. Now we have to find a new doctor and start all over this close to delivering our baby. Not happy with this office at all read more

Dr. Pagette is incredibly kind, compassionate and makes her patients her priority. She takes time to truly listen to concerns and is very knowledgeable. When I suffered a miscarriage, she was so unbelievably caring and empathetic to me and my husband as well. She acknowledged our grief and seemed to know just the right thing to say. I developed life-threatening complications following the delivery of my son (she delivered him by c-section since he was breech - she is an amazing surgeon as well) and she promptly recognized, diagnosed and treated the complications which truly was life-saving.
