Appointments felt rushed, questions went unanswered, and there was little sense that anyone was truly paying attention to my ongoing treatment. Things took a turn for the worse when they switched to a "pay-for-monthly membership" model. For patients who couldn't or didn't want to sign up for an expensive subscription just to receive basic medical services, the message was clear: pay up or move on. That message became literal when I received a single written notice that they would no longer be providing care. There was no real transition plan and no effort to ensure continuity of treatment. As a result, my prescriptions were suddenly left unable to be filled, putting me in a stressful and medically risky position. I've been a patient here for over 18 years and always had great experiences in the past, but unfortunately, the service has gone downhill over the last five years. This year was the worst yet -- Dr.Neyman retired, and no one notified her long-term patients until just two weeks before she left. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for those of us who rely on her for ongoing hormone therapy and care. To make matters worse, it's nearly impossible to get anyone to call you back regarding lab results or prescription refills. The office refuses to follow up with the pharmacy, leaving patients without essential medications. I've had to physically drive to the office just to get answers -- and even then, it feels like no one cares about long-term patients or is willing to guide us on next steps. You're left feeling lost, ignored, and without medication. The phone lines go unanswered for hours, and there's no clear communication or support. I began to see Sherry Neyman while she was associated with Austin Women's Renaissance Clinic and I thought all of the rush and confusion associated with her care were due to the Renaissance Clinic. When she abandoned her obstetrical and gynecological surgery practice to start "HelioHealth" at roughly the same location, I went there to continue my hormone management. I barely received two weeks notice of the change. The same rush and confusion were associated with this visit which is a cash only business for hormone replacement; the sale of vitamins (pushed heavily); peptides; vaginal rejuvenation; GLP-drugs; and other weight loss treatments. Heavy push to become a "subscription member". Every part of this visit was rushed and unpleasant and they even changed my hormone protocol. When I asked why, there was no answer. I had to ask for blood work to monitor the hormones and was forced to pay for their order instead of the one my insurance will pay for. Absolutely no concern for my care or comfort. I left there and had to find a medical professional to manage my care and even he remarked the blood work they gave me was incomplete and of course had to be repeated; he also questioned the "management" of hormone replacement I had received at her "HelioHealth" business. Do not waste your time or money at that place I cannot even call it a "clinic" with medical supervision. I would not recommend to anyone for any reason Austin has many more reliable and ethical choices for medical care. read more

I was a patient there for 4 years. They did a great job regulating my hormones and I felt MUCH better! I mainly saw NPs and they were all great, I never felt rushed so no complaints there. At that time I would've given 5 stars for the care. They stopped working with my insurance provider last summer but said I could still go there as I paid out of pocket for Biote Pellets anyway. Not ONCE in 6 months has anyone returned a message (phone or portal) so I could make an appointment. Not once. They do GET the messages though since my records were forwarded to my new gyno. Reading the Yelp reviews I can see that this is not unusual these days but I am so so disappointed that an office which had been amazing and helpful has become so completely unreliable and rude. Additionally the amount of material all around the office concerning the med spa offerings is off-putting, you shouldn't have to be on the table looking at a poster about having your labia trimmed or sit in the lobby looking at several video screens about your hideous cellulite and sagging skin OR have to stare at materials on vaginal rejuvenation while PEEING, yes, there are things hung on the inside of the bathroom stalls. Dr. Neyman's practice was recommended after I could not get an appointment with the more in-demand OBs in the same building. My primary concern was having enough time to discuss my health changes with my a new OB without being rushed - and I was upfront about this when making my appointment. From yelp reviews I assumed Dr. Neyman would be able to meet this expectation. At our first appointment Dr. Neyman was a no show - I was charged. Our makeup appointment was a 5 minute phone call where it was determined we should have met in person instead- I was charged for a visit again. At our in person visit I definitely felt rushed, but to her credit, when I asked more questions Dr Neyman did answer them. There was just a general rushed, unorganized feeling to the whole appointment. I did not leave feeling informed about my health at all. I got a call from a staff person saying my hormone levels were completely out of whack! I was shocked and disappointed that this was not a conversation with the doctor herself as I had questions about treatment that the staff person could not answer. I was given a quick and confusing quote over the phone for a treatment that would be 100% out of pocket. It's a very expensive and intense treatment and I was not given enough information to make an informed decision. I asked that my results and the treatment plan be sent to me so I could figure something out with my PCP and insurance - IT'S BEEN THREE MONTHS AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY OWN TEST RESULTS, nor do I have any information about the out of pocket treatment they are proposing. I've called, emailed and recently I messaged them through the portal they use to charge - and nothing. You can see the super helpful response I got from a staff person after months of just trying to get access to my test results. Wow You can't make this stuff up. I have been with this office for several years. I called in to tell the office and explain that I thought my hormones were off and they requested blood work. The blood work came back and I could see the results on 2/22. I called the office on 2/24 and was told that the doctor would "get around to reading them and get back to me" . I called again on 3/4 and was told that the doctor only looks at them when she can in between patients and that the doctor has 14 days to read your bloodwork! This is just one of the serious issues with this office. My Pharmacy hates when I ask for a refill because they will request it of the Dr office no less than 3 times. I always end up calling the Dr office and having to get them to look for the order. They do NOT refill on time. I typically have to call once or twice and my pharmacy gets so frustrated having to keep resending the requests. I did ask for a manager to call me and I still have not heard from one. When my GYN retired, I needed to find a new one and Neyman was recommended to me by my Internist primarily because Neyman is HRT-friendly. Two years in, I have yet to see Neyman, instead, only seeing her PA. I believe they bill my insurance company at a full "doctor's" rate vs seeing someone who is just a PA. They also require me to get blood work every 6-mos just to prescribe HRT. And they threaten to discontinue HRT prescriptions if I don't get an annual mammogram. I try to reduce radiation exposure by getting mammograms as infrequently as possible, preferable only every 2-3 years, substituting in thermograms and ultrasounds, plus I have no history of breast cancer, so am not high-risk. Don't know if all GYNs are this obscure nowadays, but my previous GYN saw me for each and every visit, even if it was only 10 minutes. There is absolutely no personal relationship with this doctor. Sad. Seems to be more interested in providing her concierge services. read more

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! The only thing you will get out of this office is high blood pressure and waste of your valuable time! They DO NOT CARE HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN SUFFERING. Had an appointment early December just to have it rescheduled by them for end of month. Get to the appointment and was told I would need testing done and then my prescriptions would be sent. I've done my part and well what do you know another issue with doctor not being available to view my results and they can't give time frame as to when they will get to it. All they know how to say is I'll forward message to doctor. Well a lot good that does when they don't seem to be in office ever or are very very behind in their work. Avoid this office if you are self-pay! This review has more to do with the office and billing management than the doctor. I went to see Dr. Neyman based on a friends referral. I am a self pay patient who paid in full each time I went. The receptionist gave me a small discount each time. Then I started receiving invoices for the balance due. I have spoken to the office staff numerous times (no returned call), sent two emails through the patient portal (no response), and talked to their billing office two times. Today I received a debt collection notice in the mail. I am beyond livid that I have tried many times to resolve this with no response from anyone in that office! read more

Initial surgical consult appointment was good, but then they dropped the ball entirely. If you leave messages they don't call back, the portal doesn't work or they've turned it off. They won't even return calls from other doctor offices! I had to find another OBGYN to do my surgery which delayed things by MONTHS for a very painful condition. After a just-ok experience with my last womanly doctor, I was hoping to find another one that was a) closer to my work, b) didn't give me the feeling like she was insanely over-booked and just trying everything to get me out of the door and c) knowledgeable. With Dr. Tara Mills, I feel like I accomplished all of the above. And her staff were super nice, too, something that I felt needed some improvement at "my last place". Dr. Tara Mills is warm, inviting and really seems to know her stuff. She took the time to talk to me and I really felt as though she listened in return. After moving here 15 weeks pregnant from Michigan, it was difficult to find an ob-gyn that I liked as well as the one I saw back home. I finally found Dr. Ginger Truitt, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience with her. She listened to my concerns throughout my pregnancy, even whisking me in to get a quick ultrasound just to reassure me. She was willing to work with me to create the birth I envisioned, and in the end, it was a fantastic experience. NURSING STAFF The nursing staff is pretty good -- not the best I've encountered, but not bad. They get you in and out, take your vitals, without a lot of extra chit-chat. ULTRASOUND A really awesome part of the practice! I love having the ultrasounds a few rooms down from the exam rooms. The ultrasound technicians are very patient and helpful (like when you're on the verge of passing out because there's too much pressure lying on your back!) Dr. Darby always comes by at the end to review your sonogram with you and answer any questions, and I really like his calm, reassuring personality. Very sweet man. SCHEDULING/COMMUNICATION Great -- no complaints with scheduling. I rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes past my appointed time, and on the rare occasion that my doctor wasn't available, they quickly offered other arrangements (i.e. seeing a nurse practitioner). Also, I love that you can go online to a patient portal and ask questions. Nurses get back to you quickly, and I've even gotten prescriptions refilled this way. BILLING/INSURANCE I did find the insurance billing with RWG a bit nerve-wracking. Unfortunately, it seems like a common practice to "pre-bill" your insurance for maternity services, meaning you are paying toward your deductible throughout your pregnancy leading up to delivery. RWG didn't report to my insurance company that I had been paying on my deductible, so then I had to pay another $1,500 to my insurance company, and RWG refunded me what I had paid to them. Confused? So was I! Bottom line: everything was resolved OK, but it was sure a backwards way of doing it (in my opinion). DELIVERY AT ST. DAVID'S NORTH Can't say enough great things! I had a C-section with Dr. Truitt and a team of wonderful nurses and anesthesiologists at the helm. Loved the pro-breastfeeding nursing staff, the private rooms. The food wasn't too shabby either! :) And hey -- I have an amazing, healthy little addition to our family. Life is sweet. read more

In an attempt to reach the office, I have had to leave m multiple voicemails and portal messages every other day over the course of almost a month after I saw them for hormone treatment because no one ever answer or gets back and you get forwarded straight to voicemail after waiting for about 10 minutes to speak with someone. I have been a patient at RWG since I got pregnant in 2008. I was referred by a friend and she was right. My original doctor (wonderful!!) moved to Dallas, so I've seen Dr. Montalvo for the past few years for my annual checkups. She and her staff are friendly, compassionate and professional. Dr. M always takes the time to listen to any questions or concerns, and addresses them as appropriate. Tests and procedures are done only as needed, and explained thoroughly. I also have to add - the mammogram tech down the hall is also fantastic. If you've been through this ladies you know it's not fun, but she makes it as quick and painless as possible. The one and only time I've had an issue here was at my annual last year. I was waiting for my mammogram, and there was an emergency at the hospital involving the doctor in that office. It caused chaos with the receptionist and nurses trying to reschedule incoming patients and I got lost in the shuffle. After a very long wait (and watching another woman come in after me and get called back), I checked with the receptionist who was very curt and said I would be called next. After finally getting done I went back to Dr. M's office and talked to the staff - who had been trying to figure out what took me so long. Not only did Dr. M's office staff and Dr. M apologize, but the head office manager for RWG came by to talk to me about what happened, and apologized for the delays and mixup. It was all handled VERY well. read more

I have been going to the Renaissance Women's Group for 20 years. I have always had a great experience here. Until now. The Doctors are great. The office staff, was always wonderful & helpful. Until now. I spent 2 hours the other day, going round and round, and the office person, despite my begging her not to transfer me, did just that. Over and over. I have left voicemails, messages in the portal asking anyone to call me back to schedule regular annual app'ts for myself and my daughter. Nothing. Hours on the phone, and days, now weeks, waiting for a call back, email back ...nothing. I have had great experiences with Dr. Neyman, but at this point, I am done. Someone needs to know that their staff is awful. I cannot spend another morning, in an endless cycle of phone routing, bad service and no results. Patients are no longer this business' concern. I am sure you will want to blame the "trouble finding employees.." but before you do: I called another (well-reviewed, long-standing OB, who, yes, takes insurance) and they called back in 6 minutes, made appointments and I am good to go. So last year I saw Dr.Brittaney Swift (who was amazing- took her time and answered all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable), this year I was not able to see her and has to see Dr. Neyman... she spent a total of 7 minutes with me including my exam and gave no warning when she was going in or what tests she was doing. I was very specific on letting her know that I wanted a full STD screening and she said ok. She rushed me in the room, seemed like she could care less about my concerns and rushed me on my way out too. Turns out she didn't even order the 2 tests with my Pap smear and I had to call the nurse to see if they could add it on. I will not be going back, unless it is to see Dr. Swift. read more

Like many of these other reviews, I share the same disappointment. My initial visit with Emily Cuyler was thorough and I left feeling confident in finding a great place for care (I had just moved to Austin and was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis and suffer ovarian cysts). However, the next two visits have both been extremely disheartening. Not only did they take nearly two weeks to give me lab results and ultrasound results, Emily didn't express any compassion or empathy when I did let her know how disappointed I was in her care. After leaving multiple messages on the portal, she gave me a sterile response and option to administer multiple prescriptions (although I had told her previously I do not like to take anything unless absolutely crucial). This was the final validation I needed to end my "care" at this office. Writing a patient, who is in pain, off with a list of prescriptions to take isn't how medical "care" should operate. Not only did she give a false hope for care, she also billed my unethically doing multiple codes that weren't necessary. I worked for a medical office and I understand coding and ICD.10 and CPT codes (how doctors bill) and after speaking with my insurance, learned of this manner from Emily Cuyler. I wouldn't recommend coming to this office for all of these reasons stated, but most of all, I wouldn't risk your own time and health for some lousy "women's health" that doesn't even care about women to begin with. I can't say enough great things about Renaissance Women's Group. Every single nurse or doctor you meet, is incredible helpful, nice and patient. Dr. McCleod (previously Dr. Montalvo) is an excellent OB/GYN and we are lucky to have found her for our first pregnancy. Although she was not on-call when we ended up giving birth, she was my Dr for ALL of the visits for the 9 months leading up to my baby's birth. We chose RWG because we knew there is always a chance that your particular DR could not be on call when you go into labor and we did our research and saw that ALL of the doctor's in this group have stellar reviews. Dr. Loar (maybe Lore) ended up being on call when we had our baby and she was WONDERFUL too! We were so happy with the whole experience. Other than the great Doctors and nurses, RWG has great resources for parents-to-be as well. We took all of the baby glasses (labor and delivery, baby basics, parenting, breastfeeding and CPR). The individuals that run these classes were all great and it was nice that they were all held in the lobby of RWG. My one and only complaint is 1 or 2 sour front office employees. There was one woman who worked at the desk in Dr. Darby's office (where you go for ultrasounds) that was truly terrible at customer service and dealing with people. I am glad I only had to deal with her 4 or 5 times over the 9 months. Everyone else was great! The offices themselves are nice and clean. The building is also conveniently located right across the street from St. David's women's center (where labor and delivery goes down!) You also can have all of your blood work and ultrasounds done in the same building. This was very convenient at certain appointments when I had to see my Dr, have an ultrasound and give a blood sample. I highly recommend you going with one of the doctor's at RWG for your OB/GYN needs! read more

Why is a man reviewing a women's clinic? Well, the woman who used to have my phone number, Sally, makes appointments here frequently. I get calls all the time from Renaissance Women's Group letting me know I (Sally) have an upcoming appointment. They seem to be very friendly on the phone and are a lot less annoying then Sally's bank. I used to tell them that "this wasn't Sally's phone and to please stop calling".... but now I like to tell them, in a baritone voice, "Yes, this is Sally, thank you for the reminder...see you soon" Their response is a mix between "confusion" and "Well, I guess that's why she's made the appointment". I assume since Sally keeps making the appointments their service is as wonderful as their telephone calls. read more

A mixed-bag from a super-organized medical machine. Good for general check-ups and labs but not recommended if you have questions, or need a working relationship with your doc. (Dr. Darby kept them from drifting into sub-2 star territory. He's 5 stars.) The good: - Close to hospital - Lots of Doctors and services in one location - Appointments on-time - Dr. Darby, the ultrasound doctor, is kind and reads your chart. Nice, qualified, and thoughtful. The bad: attitude - Assembly-line new patient process It is not clear to me that anyone read my health health history. Considering it was a requirement to get the first appointment, and had to be delivered at least 3 days in advance - I was really frustrated. - Don't plan on seeing a doc. First appointment included extensive materials explaining why the non-MD staff are well qualified and that you might not see the doctor. Translation: You are never going to see the doctor anyway, and if you complain... here are 5 pages of documentation to show you why you are *wrong* - Abrasive appointment reminder system. Reminder calls are automated, and include a "warning" about charges for no-shows AND forces you to confirm that you have heard the message by pressing a button. - Consistent Errors Wrong info about appointment, errors in my records. Considering the insistence on getting health history in advance, and the propaganda that they want to do a good job, is is concerning. It makes me wonder "what other kinds of things are they getting wrong?" - Stock answers. Auto-pilot answers that don't get to the heart of the matter. "Anything is good." - Nurse line - CYA type answers. - Parking - allow an extra 15 minutes to hunt for a parking space. * Note: I have no problem seeing qualified Nurses, Nurse Practitioners or Physician assistants for my health-care needs. What I don't like is the condescening attitude, and the subsequent dearth of informed answers from the staff. read more

Worst health service treatment ever. Not a joke. My wife and I went to Doctor Melanie Collins OBGYN who was recommended by an acquaintance. We arrived for our first visit and the financial lady treated us horrendously. I'm not a particularly sensitive person, but for someone that is asking you to pay them thousands of dollars, we've never been treated like this before. We had a form shoved in our faces upon arrival and a demand to pay $2500 to $3,500 as an "OB" fee. This was new to me (we already have a child and have gone through the process) so I asked questions about this like "what does this fee include?" and "what does this fee not include?". It was just terrible from there. A refusal to give answers, yelling at me because I was on the wrong side of the door, yelling at my wife because she was on the wrong side of the office door after going to the bathroom. Just crazy town. Just a strange sense of overall entitlement. If anyone is listening, this occurred on May 12 at 3:30p. It was the Hispanic woman in the back of the front office. (My wife is hispanic so this is provided for descriotive not racial ourposes). I hate to single people out like this, but it was ridiculous. My wife and I sat down again in the office waiting room and she said "there is no way we are coming here for multiple OBGYN visits." I agreed. She was almost in tears. We let one of the other office attendants know that we would not be continuing with our new patient appointment. I unless you have no other OBGYN options or are a masochist, I'd stay clear. read more

This place is absolutely atrocious. I have been a patient there for about 5 years. I have come to the conclusion that the staff is medically negligent and cares nothing about the patients that they are seeing at all. Just about your check. Unless you are going for a routine annual, and you dont have any questions, good luck with getting any real discussion time with your NP...because in the 5 years I have been going there, I have only seen a doctor once. I wonder if they even practice out of this office. If you ever want to see the same person more than once, dont go here. Also they specifically talked me out of getting the guardasil shot sequence since it was not covered on my insurance, even though I said I didn't mind paying out of pocket. They wouldn't even expand on how much it cost andy more than "very expensive". Obviously someone had not done their due dilligence to learn about the items offered at their facility, AND to top it off, when asked for the information wouldn't even take a minute to locate the information, in order to answer my question. Dr. Clarissa Guiterrez is wonderful. She took over my prenatal care, for my second pregnancy, at approximately 20 weeks, because I had chosen to leave my previous OB/GYN. (My first doc had dismissed my concerns about my hyperemesis by simply saying "pregnancy comes with a plethora of symptoms"). Each time I showed up at least 15 minutes prior to my appointment and was seen by the doctor on time or before my scheduled time. I had expressed my trepidations and concerns with Dr. G from day one, as my first labor and delivery experience had been less than desirable, and she took everything into consideration. On game day, Dr. G induced me at 0800 and my son was born at 1118. The delivery was pleasant and practically pain-free. My husband was also very pleased with Dr. G's flawless laceration repair (haha). The office staff is welcoming and friendly. The nurse line was convenient and answered any after-hours questions or concerns I had. I was admitted a few weeks before my due date for a stomach virus and the communication between the hospital and my Dr.'s office was great. Dr. G checked in on me the first thing the morning after admission and I was released shortly after, with thorough, at home directions. I would recommend Dr. G to anyone and everyone. She is a very smart woman. She is young, energetic and clearly has a passion for helping others. I was super sad when my husband was transferred to San Antonio, 5 weeks after my child was born. I delivered my baby boy on 12/30. As expected, my doctor was not available and another doctor (Dr. Loar) was on call and did my delivery. I've got mixed feelings about my delivery experience in relation to RWG. On one hand, Dr. Loar had very good bedside manner, seemed very knowledgeable and overall a very good doctor. On the other hand, 2 (maybe more) other women were delivering at the same time as I was. I had to wait for 3 hours for Dr. Loar to be available to be able to start pushing (I had some issues with dilation and baby positioning and I could not dilate past 9 cm without intervention). And my epidural didn't work. 3 hours of incredible pain because the doctor had to tend to other women was not my idea of fun. While this is not Dr. Loar's fault, I do feel that RWG is understaffed/overbooked with patients. Is there not a backup plan for situations such as this where at least 3 women need the doctor's attention simultaneously? I came very close to needing a c-section because the pain had drained me to the point of exhaustion. Basically, I believe RWG is a cash-driven practice. While I understand the need to make money, I do believe that the patient is your customer and should always come first - especially when that patient is pregnant. My gynecologist, Dr. Smith, and her NP are always attentive and courteous, but the front desk staff are not. Every time I've had an appointment, I've had to wait at least 30 minutes. Last time, I went during my lunch break and when I asked the receptionist how much longer I'd have to wait, she looked and said, "it's only been 25 minutes," as if I should expect to wait at least that, if not longer, to see a doctor. Why even make an appointment then? I've seen women show up later than me that get seen first. I like to be punctual, but maybe I should start coming in 30 minutes late so I don't have to wait. Their billing department is also ineffective. I made an appointment for mirena insertion and got a call from billing saying my patient responsibility was $800+. I called my insurance and they assured me anything under family planning was 100% covered, but when I called back to tell their billing department, the lady would not believe me, even though she had not even called them and checked online, incorrectly! When I got to my appointment, they were trying to get me to pay at the front desk. Luckily, I called my insurance and had them speak to her. I find their front desk very unprofessional and not helpful, but my doctor and the nurses are great. read more

Dr. Darby is a member of the Renaissance Women's Group and he is the man you go to for your Ultrasounds. Austin and RWG are so fortunate to have this man practice here because he is one of the best. He spends quality time with me on each visit. He sits and explains every detail on what he is seeing on the ultrasound and allows me to ask as many questions as I want. He has had to deliver bad news and good news to me when trying to get pregnant and each time, his dismeanor is compassionate. His staff is excellent also. They seem to genuinely care about me and my well-being and each time I go in there, I feel like I am the only patient there. When my baby didn't cooperate on the 3D sonogram, they tried again on my next visit to see if they could get her to move so we could see her face. They have even allowed me to bring in a USB key so that I could capture the sonogram pictures on my USB too. Dr. Darby is a wonderful and kind-hearted man. I can't say enough good things about this man. HIGHLY recommend him for any kind of ultrasound needs. read more

This is for all you women out there. It was time for my yearly appointment, and I hated the doctor I went to last year, so I decided to try this place. They were great! The wait was short, the rooms comfortable, and the doctors and nurses comforting. They were extremely professional but also made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be sticking with them for a while! read more

All of my experiences at RWG have been so-so. Adequate. They were recommended to me by a friend and I've been going for three years. If I had more time, I would definitely seek out other options as they are light on customer service for the most part. I agree that they generally run on-time, which can be a bonus at the doctor's office, but I feel it comes at the sacrifice of the staff being rushed and therefore not as attentive as they could be with my questions. For instance, I was suspicious that a new birth control I'd been on was causing me to feel depressed. I'm generally very upbeat and the change occurred a week or so after starting it. The nurse was rushed, dismissed my concern and handed me pamphlets on PMS. Instead, I went off the b/c two months later and returned to normal. Additionally, I went in for a pre-conception meeting and the nurse practitioner gave me NO new information and literally said, "15 year olds get pregnant every day and have healthy babies, you can do it." When I asked for a recommendation on a prenatal vitamin, she handed me one and said, "They're all about the same. This is the smallest." On further pushing, she handed me three from a huge cabinet of samples to take home and research. I would have appreciated more insight and discussion other than which one is the smallest. I chose another one that had a better combination of ingredients, fewer additives and dyes and was still small after hours of my own research. I'm choosing to continue to give RWG a chance because, well, I'm really busy and have little time to research other options, the one time the actual doctor (Dr. Laurette Smith) attended my appointment was positive, and my friend had a great experience at the hospital attached to RWG during childbirth (though we're a while off from that). If you are just going for annuals and generally don't have any questions, this would likely be a good place for you to get in and get out. A few things to note: 1. You will likely rarely see the actual doctor. Most of the time you see a Nurse Practitioner. Which is fine, just something to be aware of. 2. You will likely wait several weeks before getting in. If you specifically ask to book an appointment with the doctor, you will wait much longer. 3. They are only open from 8AM - 4PM ish and take an hour lunch from 12:00-1:00, so schedule calls around their schedule. If you have to leave a message, call back an hour before they close. Hope this has been helpful. To be sure, they are competent medical professionals, I just wish they would be more attentive over there. read more

I love Dr. Smith and all the ladies there take such good care of me! I don't have to go there that often ( yearly) but when I do I feel cared for and communicated with clearly. And the nurses answer all my questions! Highly recommend!!! read more

First class, five stars! My wife's Dr., Dr. Mills is the best. We're a high risk family... Lots of miscarriages along the way. Dr. Mills has been a wonderful and encouraging Dr for many years. We've had interactions with most of the medical staff over the years. Dr. Darby is such a kind and wonderful man, there for all our sonograms. With our second daughter, she had not turned down when she should have and Darby successfully helped her turn shortly before the due date. When it came time to deliver, we had an emergency C-Section and Dr. Garza walked us through our options and delivered our little girl. In such a challenging day, he brought such peace. In a few months, we'll deliver our 3rd child and we couldn't be happier about the medical team surrounding our growing family. We learned about RWG from some people at our church. Dozens of our friends have had children through RWG and all have had nothing but stellar experiences. read more

1st thing....yall can learn something from Wendy McGintry...she was amazing,made me feel comfortable, welcome and important!!!! She is amazing!! Employee of the month worthy right there. I came here for the first time when I got pregnant with my 3rd child just so I wouldn't have to deliver at Seton this time due to bad experiences. One should've been enough.... I went with Dr.Gutierrez . She is new, I wish I would've changed to someone else before it was too late. (In the end she was a very sweet doctor, I didn't feel she was genuine but she also ended up not being in the delivery room which I was happy about.) At first she seemed very nice, buy then getting towards the middle of my pregnancy I felt like she seemed less genuine and like I was just present. When I asked questions about normal things that I'd never had in prior pregnancies... She seemed put out, like I was making a big deal about nothing. Maybe I was, but it still is her job to reassure me of those things anyways. Omg the front desk girl was sooooooooooo rude!!!! I was literally about to grab her by the hair and smack some sense into talking to a pregnant woman the way she did....you just don't do that. I was afraid of going in everytime and having the cops called for doing something to this chick....anyways. Train your front desk staff. I've even emailed y'all directly and nothing had changed with that girls attitude. Black curly hair, glasses, not so pretty...can't miss her. The nurse: on the phone was Michelle I believe and she always sounded like she didn't have time for my issues or questions. Also rude. The last time I called about my birth control after having my baby because I was having issues on it but the nurse line they have never called me back. Wait times are horrible....one time I went in for the last sonogram and my 14 year old daughter traveled all the way from AZ to visit and see this sonogram and they would not allow her in because there were too many people, even though one was a child of 6yrs and they wouldn't let us switch out kids to see their little sister. Such bs!!! It was super far for me to travel, but that was OK with me living south at first...I thought I'd have a better experience!! I feel that if you can find a good Dr here its worth your while, but definitely go with your gut if you're not feeling it with the Dr. St. Davids was awesome though!!!
