Much appreciated during an emergency! They did what they could from the outside, told me what the problem was and that I would need someone else, unfortunately. They did buy me time. I have been a customer of Franchini Plumbing for about 18 years. We were introduced to the Father…read more& Son business during a major remodeling project in our home. We were pleased enough with their quality of work, honesty, and reasonableness in pricing that we've continued to call upon them ever since as a situation arose. Our most recent need for service was to replace a hot water heater that I noticed was leaking on Christmas Eve. A call to Dave Franchini in the early morning of Boxing Day and he was able to come to the house in about an hour to examine the problem. His offer to replace the heater that very day was like receiving an enormous Boxing Day gift. Five hours later we had a new power vented gas hot water heater fully operational at a very reasonable price. There should be no doubt that I wholeheartedly recommend Franchini Plumbing. Please note that I've submitted updated information to Yelp to reflect that Dave's father, Marino, has retired, so the name, address, and phone number have changed to reflect Dave Franchini as the sole owner. Franchini Plumbing and Heating is located at 50 Longwood Dr. in Clifton Park, NY and Dave can be reached at (518) 858-6826.

An affordable charge, well worth it. Not what it could've been at worst, a $3,000 well pump and more time without water. We highly recommend Upstate Well Solutions and would call on them again if their services were needed. It is amazing to appreciate what it's like to have water again after being without. We received the receipt and installation details at closing, including this company's information. Since moving in, we've experienced ongoing issues with the hot water supply. I am currently 8 months pregnant and unable to take a full hot shower, and my children often end up needing to take cold baths afterward. When I reached out to the company for help, they refused to come out to assess the situation unless I agreed in advance to a $300 service fee. The company is upfront blaming that the hot water heater is simply "undersized for our household needs" instead of checking on it. I've previously owned a home with a similarly sized water tank and never ran out of hot water at all, but regardless, I believe a company should stand by its work--especially when the installation is recent and the unit is still under warranty. At minimum, a basic service check should be offered without demanding a substantial fee upfront or placing the responsibility on the homeowner. The individual I spoke with on two separate occasions was dismissive and unprofessional, and did not take accountability for the situation. The interactions left me feeling uncomfortable and even intimidated to write a review, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision and find a company that stands behind its work and treats customers with respect.
