Drive Thru is amazingly convenient BUT the staff is being overwhelmed since there's not enough counter people. Dedicating a person to Drive Thru during peak hours would help, in and out in just a few minutes makes the store profit and customers happier. Shouldn't be a 30 minute wait going through Drive Thru, they desperately need more employees in the pharmacy.

The cars in the parking lot looked normal. There weren't any people hanging out on the sidewalk. Looks safe to me. I went inside, and it still looked like a normal Walgreens. Humm, I dunno about those other reviews... I've never been here before, but I decided to look for the KT Tape in the same area of the store that I had found it at other Walgreens, near the Pharmacy in the back. The line at the Pharmacy was only 2 people, and the pharmacy tech was helping the first person in line. This seems normal also. I passed a few other customers, and they were minding their own business. This is a normal thing. I found the KT Tape and went to the check-out. There were a couple of customers before me, so I got to watch the interactions. The cashier was young, thin, with green hair, and had a smile on her face. She was chatting with the customers who were in line before me, and she was friendly, sociable, and laughing at their jokes. I had a good experience, and the wait times were absolutely normal. Seems like a normal Walgreens to me.

I was raised on the rule that if you want to be healthy, you stick to the outside of the store aisles, and this is the smallest produce section I've ever seen in my life so knowing this is the neighborhood store is really a sad indicator of probably the overall health in the area. I had been hoping to knock out my weekly grocery shopping here, but immediately looking over the produce, and only having discarded tomatillos, remaining and bruised jalapeños. There was no way my list was gonna get checked off. I headed straight and search of my gluten-free items and was very pleased to find they actually have it in one little section with a sign that says gluten-free so you don't have to run around the entire store looking for those items. It's not a huge section so it's a time to just go right to that spot. 99% of the store is packaged and processed. I grabbed what I needed, I have a person vendetta against all self check out and headed to the one lane open with a checker who had no idea how to use her register, and even though she bagged the groceries for the person before me, she did not bag mine and seemed very confused by the fact that I had even brought my own. The whole checkout was just awkward, and I felt very out of place for some reasons. I was never greeted, I was never offered assistance. Just an odd vibe overall.

When I took this up to customer service to trade it for another lemon "Thomas" couldn't have behaved more bothered to have to assist me and needed to see my ID and wanted to receipt... For one lemon. Not out of the norm for this guy, as he always seems to have quite the attitude. Also having one checker, checking people out is ridiculous and you have to bag your own groceries. I am disabled, so this is incredibly difficult for me and I always have to do the self check out because the lines at the one working check stand are unbearably long. Sad really how far Fred Meyer has fallen. Do better Fred Meyer!
