Hey, I get it, people are impatient they have things to do. But so do all the other people waiting, helping or servicing. I just want to shout out Lenon the pharmacist who always checks to see how I'm doing, several of the techs who when they see me immediately know if I'm picking up for my kids or myself, and always are friendly, and the sales people who today kindly commented on my outfit. A second of kindness is all it takes. What do you get out of making someone else angry and miserable? And for the dude who was rude to the tech, what he didn't know or ASK, was that the neighborhood lost its power in the late afternoon until close to midnight. The pharmacy team had to do a massive catch up of orders and existing meds. Give each other grace, it's the least you'd want for yourself. Also, I seriously always appreciate this rite aid for always having our RX stocked and always serving with a friendly demeanor. I know retail pharmacy isn't easy, keep up the great work, y'all.

The Pharmacy has been very easy to work with. I had been going to small local pharmacies just to avoid dealing with a Wallgreens, Rite aid or grocery store pharmacy's . This Rite Aid is truly different. Of course they have to follow the same rules as all pharmacy's, but they always talk to me with respect and seem patient and willing to help. Upon my arrival they informed me that they had both but one would not be ready until Monday. I picked up the one and drove home. Halfway home I got a notice that the 2nd perscription was ready. It was 6:20pm. I should have just been told to wait for the 2nd perscription. Crazy. Then I wondered why did they say it would not be ready until Monday? I looked up their pharmacy hours and discovered they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. This is so odd as I chose Walgreens for the convenience of picking up prescriptions when I'm not working long weekdays. I wonder what folks are supposed to do when they need a prescription on a weekend?

This means that the aisles are shorter, and it takes less time to walk to the back of the store than other places. This Rite Aid also has three entrances in front, which allows us to walk in and see the many aisles, then picking the aisle that we want to go to. The size of this store is just the right size. This means, like Trader Joe's, they have to stock just the right amount, and not face customers with a huge aisle of hair products (too many to choose from) This conforms to the small town feel of Lake Oswego, which we locals have come to love. This Walmart Neighborhood Market is the nicest of any I've gone into and I've probably been inside a handful. The store is clean, the selection is vast, and the prices are reasonable. Then, the employees are on top of their game and those shopping here are civil, meaning that drama and theatrics will be at an absolute minimum. If you want drama, rent a flick. That's not what one wants while shopping. Note that the Walmart Neighborhood Market concept is a bifurcation from the regular Walmart or super center. They are meant to be, first and foremost, a grocery store. This is not where you come to buy socks, a toaster oven, or fertilizer. In fact, you just might be able to do all your grocery shopping here. As you do your shopping here, you might think you're on vacation.
