Hey, I get it, people are impatient they have things to do. But so do all the other people waiting, helping or servicing. I just want to shout out Lenon the pharmacist who always checks to see how I'm doing, several of the techs who when they see me immediately know if I'm picking up for my kids or myself, and always are friendly, and the sales people who today kindly commented on my outfit. A second of kindness is all it takes. What do you get out of making someone else angry and miserable? And for the dude who was rude to the tech, what he didn't know or ASK, was that the neighborhood lost its power in the late afternoon until close to midnight. The pharmacy team had to do a massive catch up of orders and existing meds. Give each other grace, it's the least you'd want for yourself. Also, I seriously always appreciate this rite aid for always having our RX stocked and always serving with a friendly demeanor. I know retail pharmacy isn't easy, keep up the great work, y'all.

Upon my arrival they informed me that they had both but one would not be ready until Monday. I picked up the one and drove home. Halfway home I got a notice that the 2nd perscription was ready. It was 6:20pm. I should have just been told to wait for the 2nd perscription. Crazy. Then I wondered why did they say it would not be ready until Monday? I looked up their pharmacy hours and discovered they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. This is so odd as I chose Walgreens for the convenience of picking up prescriptions when I'm not working long weekdays. I wonder what folks are supposed to do when they need a prescription on a weekend?

This means that the aisles are shorter, and it takes less time to walk to the back of the store than other places. This Rite Aid also has three entrances in front, which allows us to walk in and see the many aisles, then picking the aisle that we want to go to. The size of this store is just the right size. This means, like Trader Joe's, they have to stock just the right amount, and not face customers with a huge aisle of hair products (too many to choose from) This conforms to the small town feel of Lake Oswego, which we locals have come to love. P.S. The Pharmacy staff is very helpful, even with non-prescription items.

At 1:32pm, they set a red sign in the window saying the pharmacist was out. A pharmacist picked up the phone and said "Come back at 2pm". Then he hung up the phone and walked away. Is this how you treat patients? Is this how you speak to customers? I understand they need breaks; however, have some respect, consideration, and compassion for people picking up their prescriptions. You can still set boundaries AND have a kind interaction with patients.

I would NOT recommend anyone go to this place if your medications are sensitive or serious. They seriously messed up multiple times and are frequently out of medications I need. Often I spot a cute sweater or jeans on Instagram and order online for quick pick up at the store. They bring it out to your car making it incredibly convenient and one of my favorite reasons to buy online. Right now it's spring and I'm in the mood to plant some annuals for immediate pops of color. Their prim roses go for $1,99 at Walmart while Freddie's sells for $3,99. I make one call--leave a voicemail with the prescription number, and LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY it shows up in my mailbox. I'm so, so impressed. Once their shipment took a few days, so I called to check on its status because my dog was totally out of pills. They said they shipped them but would overnighted me new pills so my dog wouldn't die. They didn't charge me--just said that if the original shipment ever showed up to let them know so they could bill me. Surprisingly one month later a completely battered package showed up with a postmark showing they did indeed ship it on time but that it must have been lost in the mail. I called them to bill me and they took care of it. Anyway, I love this place. Love that I never have to go into this place. And love how inexpensive, efficient, and customer oriented they are.

It could also be that automatic refills work just fine and there is simply no one there to actually fill the Rx. The main problem is that refills take 4-6 days to fill and you have to call to find out what the hold up is and often no one answers the phone. On several occasions the Rx was incomplete but the tech didn't bother to explain that to me, and if I hadn't checked the paperwork and called (and someone eventually picked up) I would have run out of medication. I still may as the date the staff gave me is more than two weeks after it was supposed to be filled. The pharmacists and/or pharmacy techs seem to have problems counting, too, because so many times they don't seem to know how long a month is or when the Rx can be filled. If the problem is a staff shortage, management should hire more staff and not put the ones who remain in the position of improvising excuses for the poor service. People need their medicines and pharmacies need to fill prescriptions on time and with the correct amount of medication.

Every six months, I have a Prolia injection which has contributed to strengthening my bones. While I have always been completely covered by my semi-annual injections of Prolia given in a hospital, my physician and I thought it might be more convenient to pick up the Prolia from a pharmacy and just inject it in her office. I picked it up at the CVS in Lake Oswego, OR, and checked out not realizing the appalling cost. The Prolia at that Safeway, which my insurance had fully covered for decades at various hospital sessions, horrifyingly cost me $750+. I had immediately put it in the fridge, had not opened it, and offered to return it. Safeway said no. It seems to me that the profit-hungry commercial pharmacies, as others more caring have done, should warn their customers when they might face and alert their customers to these potential appalling over-charges and indifference to their customers' cares.
