This pharmacy is absolute garbage. After 8 years of their rudeness and incompetence I've finally moved all of my prescriptions elsewhere. Smart ass kids who can't count, pharmacists who argue and won't consult when there is a mistake. I have proof of multiple examples of times they charged my insurance for larger quantities than they actually dispensed. The final straw for me was when it took getting the store manager involved to get them to correct their final mistake with me. - INCORRECT MEDS. The cashier guy just shrugged, the pharmacist wouldn't even talk to me when I specifically asked for clarification. Yes, they fucked up and literally did not care to even look at the problem. Hiring more help in the pharmacy so it is open when it's supposed to be. Today they are only doing drive through and the wait is super long. It is not the first time. Other times we've received messages saying the pharmacy is closed when it really wasn't and that has confused our prescription pickup. I prefer to avoid the drive through at this location by the way. Every time I leave I wind up with a car running the stop sign and almost hitting me at high speed. Then that driver yells at me even though I stopped for my stop sign. Today it happened again. Sigh. Obviously the drive through setup did not have safety in mind. We are going to switch to another drugstore that is more predictable and can be counted in being open. We have loved the staff in this store and it's so close to our home so we are sad to make this decision. PS Other Walgreens in the area are also open on Sunday and we also find it confusing that this one isn't. That's not today's problem but might be impacting today's drive through line. read more

Pharmacy department needs some extreme and I do mean EXTREME help! Try getting your meds filled or get them filled and then get the constant messages oh we're open and then oh we're closed only to have drive through open. It took me over 2 weeks at one point to get 2 of my meds because of this. I live within a stones throw from it. The store employees are incredibly nice and helpful. People love to online complain. To those complainers; if they weren't there to serve you, you would find someone else to complain about. I feel I need to stand up and say these employees work hard to serve the public, that is the hardest job I could imagine; and they go an amazing job. Great attitude no matter who is grouching at them. Walgreens does an amazing job as a whole helping the best they can to many different people. I got both of my Covid shots here. I was able to book them easily through the Walgreens app. When I didn't get my confirmation email right away, I called and the woman I spoke to was super helpful. When you get to the pharmacy counter there's a special line just for people who are there to get the Covid vaccine. The people administering the shot (it was different each time) were friendly. The shot was quick and didn't hurt. I also like that the bandaids were red and had a 'w' on them instead of your standard issue bandaids. This is a bigger location with a lot of retail items. I only wish that the lines at the front cash register didn't have a long wait and that the signage of where to stand was quicker. I'm really grateful, however that I was able to get the vaccine close to where I live and in the evening (as opposed to during the workday). read more

Dude...this pharmacy is an absolute JOKE. Truly. I cannot even fathom why I continue to go back here. It's fair to argue they're short staffed and that's fine...but the staff that does work there is incredibly unhelpful and unfriendly. I have always been nothing but pleasant each time I've gone in, and I'm met with an attitude problem. Getting anybody on the phone here is nearly impossible. For months we were going here to try to pick up my husband's medications. When we provided secondary insurance information these people would look us dead in the eyes and say "Sorry, your insurance is rejecting it." But they could never tell us why. Frustrated each time, we just paid the copay and got reimbursed on the back-end. Most recently, I went in and a tech there told me "We've NEVER billed secondary insurance unless you're on X or Y platform" and so I asked her "So...when I've given secondary insurance each time why did nobody tell me this?" Literally...dozens of times. In general, medications take forever here. Like I said - that's fine if it's due to staffing issues but when you say a prescription is ready online...PLEASE have that be accurate. I dropped off a physical script and was told it would be ready at 11. When I got there at 11, they were absolutely bewildered that I showed up at 11 expecting it. Another pretty concerning issue is my husband was prescribed a medication that was under no circumstances supposed to be paired with one of his current medications - it was such a bad combo that he ended up passing out and being taken by ambulance to the ER. I would say 9/10 times here and mostly in the drive-thru, I've gotten new prescriptions where I haven't been consulted. I know I can be my own advocate, but if your records don't show it's a new prescription...then what else is wrong? Like I said - I understand if a place is short staffed. Nothing is going as it should right now in the world. But don't make promises and provide unrealistic expectations, and definitely don't be an asshole to the people who just need medication. read more

The pharmacy as really gone down on quality service. I understand they have a larger load and trust me I'd rather not take a handful of meds if I didn't have to but unfortunately cancer isn't a choice. I have to have my meds filled. With that comes attitude, and slow response to phone calls and phone answering. I also get an hour wait for a flu shot because they have 1 pharmacists. There isn't anyone else waiting or a line to pick up meds so the reason I have to wait makes no sense. On top of that I can't leave the chair in the waiting room to go shop for the hour I just have to sit here according to Leslie they can't page me. The time was the exact same one hour for my wife who attempted a flu shot here 2 days prior in the afternoon not morning. It seems that's just the common answer. Leslie tells me she wants to ring everything up together then waits till I sit and calls me back up before then needing me to come back up 1 minute later to do the flu shot paperwork and get my rx. The only positive to that place is the older male pharmacist. He has been always nice friendly and listens to me when I have a complaint. I don't think things change there but at least he hears me. read more

Just started checking this location out. Spacious store. Drive Thru Pharmacy. Small Beer Selection. I'll talk with the store manager about getting beer I like in stock. Sometimes you just need to ask. Stores do stuff for regulars. Plenty of parking. Be careful leaving the parking lot near the exit for the Drive Thru. It's a bit of a blind spot for the drive thru exit. I've come close to drivers not paying attention. Other than that, it's a great convenience store and pharmacy. read more

My wife needed pain medications. The doctor sent in her prescription at 9:00am. When she called at 9:30am she was told by their system that her medication would be ready at 11:00am. She was also informed they were open. When she got there at 3:00pm, the photo included us what was waiting for her. read more

Horrible customer service. I called for an update on my RX, was put on hold multiple times, waited on the line for over an hour just to be told they're four days behind and i'm SOL. They made me feel like it was insane that I wanted to pick up a prescription called in the same day. I ended up going to another local walgreens, so much better, just avoid this one. read more

I have never had an issue with the people who work in this store. However, the pharmacy is constantly unavailable. Whether it's an excessive wait time in the drive through or in store or when I pull up in the middle of the day and the pharmacist is not there. Mind you not during their lunch. I transferred my one prescription to another store that is more available. We are all short staffed but when I try on multiple occasions to get my prescription to only be told now it was sent back I can no longer tolerate it. read more

This new Walgreens in great. I used to make the arduous journey up the hill to the Warner Milne store- but, fret no more! There's now a cookie-cutter store with new blinding LED makeup displays down here! Same friendly staff you'd expect from the other stores. Lynn (in the suspenders) is always especially friendly in an old-fashioned way- which I hope they appreciate. Prices are on-par with big grocers as well, which is surprising. Awwwwww...don't you just love that new store smell?! This newly opened Walgreens is located where the old Gladstone Bowl used to be. On walking into the store I was surprised that the only employee I saw was standing near the windows facing McLoughlin looking for all world as if she wanted to be anywhere but there. Thank goodness I had a prescription to fill and was in Pharmacy Manager Donna's capable hands. She seemed genuinely happy to transfer my prescription from another Walgreens, help walk me through my new insurance information and even gladly took the coupon I had. All with a smile on her face and an abundance of patience. Of course, since I was the only person within a 10 yard radius of the pharmacy this might have helped. While waiting for the prescription to be filled I purused the vitamin aisle. Not being much of a shopper I didn't really look around the rest of the store...I mean, how much different can it be than any of the other Walgreens? The entire visit was less than 10 minutes so I was super happy about that. I'm extremely excited to be able to fill a prescription at a location less than 3 minutes from home. read more

I will never go back to this location...like ever. Because of a tube of Burt Bees chapstick in my basket, I was sent over to cosmetics to have my purchases rang up. The first time this happened it was over a bottle of nail polish. Both times there was no one in cosmetics to assist me. After spending 10 minutes in line listening to the clerk chat up the two people in front of me I unloaded my whole 8 items from my basket. While holding my cash in hand, I was told pack up my stuff because the big bad chapstick was from the cosmetics department and apparently only they could ring me up. I walk and drive this Walgreens every day. I would rather go to Fred Meyer. Their prescription center doesn't take ODS, and they have much better stuff at FM. Their customer service though is good and so I might go in there for a small necessary item now and then, but honestly I'd rather just drive 5 more minutes to FM. read more

Worst photo department ever! The manager was so rude and she thinks she is protecting the bill of rights or something. She would not let me print my family photo! She said it looked professional- WT!! I was obviously me in the photo with my 2 kids and husband. Don't print here unless you have written permission signed and notarized from each photographer. Especially since the iPhone 7 takes such good pics now no one will be able to print here any more- save yourself and go somewhere else! read more

Pharmacy staff has always been friendly & helpful. Recent staff change results in staff who are rude, impatient, & unable to communicate.

I am only rating the pharmacy. They are seriously understaffed. You need to plan on waiting for a very long time or simply go to an appropriately staffed Walgreens. I have been waiting for over an hour when they told me it would take 15 minutes. The pharmacist is trying to fill prescriptions, answer the phone, do consults, help the store counter, and help the drive up window. This is seriously stupid. Avoid this pharmacy. read more

Every time I come to this Walgreens in gladstone I must wait a minimum of 5 minutes in line due to a coupon issue with someone in front of me. It seems like this store caters to drug addicts because every time I'm there the store seems to be full of them. The older gal cashier is very slow at her job! I came in to get passport picture taken after the supervisor yelled across the store the picture guy showed up and took our pictures. The next day at the passport office in oregon city we were informed our pictures would not work. The pictures were taken too close up and we had to pay an additional 15$ for retakes. Do not step foot on this Walgreens unless you purposely want to be disappointed. read more
