My adult daughter was driving a fair distance yesterday to get to her appointment at this store in Mobile on I-65. Google Maps advised she would be 10 minutes late to her appointment so she called to see if this is a problem. She was told there is a 15 minute window so continue and she would be fine. She arrived exactly ten minutes late and was told to leave and reschedule. The lady at the front told her the fifteen minutes was just a corporate rule. This is horrible service and I would never recommend going to the store. read more

Amazing work! My Monday ended with a rock hitting the windshield of my Baby... my two month old 2023 Mini Cooper S. I have a bit of OCD and was bummed that the car would no longer be 'perfect.' Insurance set up my appointment for Wednesday afternoon and I wish there were more than 5 stars. Cosmetically way way way more than expected! Very pleased! Also must mention how nice the entire staff was! Stuff like this is pretty common where I live but I'm going to sleep a little better knowing what these guys in Mobile are capable of. read more

I took my car to Safelite in Mobile, AL and they were unable to replace windshield because codes and that was ok. Went to Landrover and arranged thru another compan, but when it came time to place that company on claim, found out Safelite made a claim on work that was never done and was paid out by Progressive to Safelite...very unethical! read more

I couldn't even get to review their work because I never even got in touch with their people. The computer assisted customer service system would not let me pass. It kept redirecting me to their website telling me that it would save me time. I don't know about you but it is much faster to ask an expert then to try to type out the year model make and all that plus I had questions and I didn't want to have to go and look up FACS. I wanted to talk to a person so I went somewhere else and they got my $300 just saying maybe it should be to where you can get to somebody when you call there should definitely be that option read more

They got there on time no problem, a day after the windshield replacement the molding fell down on the inside. It took another two weeks to get them out there. The piece that they had to calibrate over the rear view mirror fell off too! Just a crappy install! No pride in work. read more

Hit by a flying pebble flung up like a bullet by a flatbed on I-65 last evening (and side issue: WTH is going on with the State of Alabama's maintenance of major thoroughfares?? That road may as well be a rock quarry), I was met with both courteous and quick-acting service as a walk-in to Safelite this morning. The autoglass professional, Kathleen, expertly and quickly fixed the impact crater -- fortunately small, new and not yet spidering. Safelite won't repair, Safelite won't replace. They were supposed to come to my business today, 6-13-22, between the hours of 8AM and Noon. No show, no call. I contacted customer service and they said the technician isn't answering the phone. I called back later and they said the local office isn't answering their calls, but they would ask the technician (yeah, the one not answering calls) to call me. I spent the morning relocating the car to shaded areas since they can't work on a hot windshield. read more

Overall very professional experience. Call center very helpful and friendly. Front desk helpful and friendly, even gave a further discount from the already discounted call center quote. The technician was also very good at her job. Overall very good experience. On my road trip, got a chip/crack in my windshield when debris hit the windshield on my 2016 Model S. Located a Safelite near my charging destination in Mobile, AL. Safelite call center got me squared away with an appointment less than an hour in the future. I asked for a discount, got one. Got to Safelite, the front desk guy had my appointment sheet out already, expecting me. He applied a further discount. He said that they charge a standard lower fee for the repair for walk-ins. So he lowered it even though I'd already agreed to a higher price with the national call center rep. Technician introduced herself. Repair was done in less than 30 minutes. Cleaned all the windows. I think she even cleaned the sunroofs!! If I was a local, this would be my go-to glass repair place. Other franchisees have to come here to learn a thing or two!! read more

My first experience with them is worth of ten stars. Unfortunately, I had a crack in my windshield that kept expanding, so I had to halt the crack in its tracks before it completely blocked my vision. My insurance company set up an appointment for them to come to apartment complex between 8-12 on a Monday. At 8:30 they had arrived already! That was a great first impression. The man, Marcus, even had me pull my car under an awning in case it rained, which it did but it was no problem for him! After a mere 45 minutes the job was done. My windshield is nice, and he did an awesome job. If I ever have this problem again I know who I'm using, and this company forever has my recommendation! read more

If you need a new windshield, this is your place. You don't go to them. They come to you. No reason to go sit somewhere for an hour or more waiting. They will come to your home or work. My experience was great and their prices beat most other glass shops (the ones that were lower won't come to you). I had a rock thrown by a vehicle into my driver side window. Thought it was fine until I came out later and found the window split by a crack. Shopped around for price and scheduling since it would cost less than my deductable. Safelite could get the window special ordered quickest and cheaper than anyone else in a 45 mile radius. On installation day, I was in and out quicker than I expected. And they cleaned all my windows inside and out. Called the day before to setup appointment to have windshield replaced on 2017 Taurus. Was given an 8am apt time. I showed up just before 8, checked in with front desk and within 5 minutes the car was being taken back to begin work. They called me about one hour later, job complete. Everyone was polite, and the shop appeared clean and organized. They replaced the windshield with oem Ford glass so it is a factory fit and finish. No complaints at this location for me, and yes,I would suggest this location. read more
