Rich's Car Wash in Daphne with the wax bay ripped the dealer installed cab over lights/visor from the roof of my truck and also busted the cowl and ripped my radio antenna off on April 25,2026, and just as their less than stellar reputation that precedes them, they refused to pay for the damages to my vehicle. This was my first time to try out their wax bay after going through the Wash bay. Most likely due their own calibration failures to their automation, and all around failure at decent business practices, Jason Few is "sorry" for my negative experience as I am sure he is for so many other customers that go back for years it appears like. Aside from being way overpriced for an automated car wash, they could care less about your vehicle or what may happen to.it while under their care or lack of! BEWARE! The Dauphin island parkway location is junk! It almost destroyed my van.The drivers side running board and ground effect was shoved into the back tire.Completely operator error.The young man running it saw it happining and was staring at my front tire/fender area and was still dragging the van forward.I even rolled down my window and asked him if it was damaging my van H3 said no then stopped and reversed it.Then things got loud ! I knew things were bad when I went to drive out and my van wouldnt move .it shoved the running board into the back tire, and bent the fender.I filled an incedent report , and riches says they arent liable?WTF? I bought a pass and hardly ever used it because I noticed scratches on my vehicle after the first wash. The brushes were too strong for the paint job on my 2023 vehicle. I didn't cancel for several months because I thought I would eventually use the pass more frequently. That didn't happen and the process to have those unused months refunded to me was more trouble than the lost is worth to me at this point. Unless you want your car damaged, I wouldn't recommend coming to Rich's car wash. During my visit to Rich's today, the machine ripped off part of my bumper- that was then ran over by another car. When I asked the attendant about it they went in and retrieved a pancake looking piece of plastic that used to be my bumper cap. When the guy (I'm assuming a manager) brought it back he was trying to reform it as if he wanted to put it back on. After I said no way that's going back on and took it from him he went to pull on the other side as if hoping to say "see it's loose too" , but of course it wasn't loose at all. I take extraordinary care of my vehicle and I make sure that there are no rattles or vibrating parts(I always hand wash except after winter weather driving.) After seeing the other one wasn't loose he shifted to the "how old is your car?" Defense. When I told him the year he let me know that anything over 7 years old wasn't covered and that they absolutely would do nothing to cover it. I was respectful and let him know that this was absurd, and he said that's the policy and that older cars have things fall of often. So here I am with a pancaked piece of bumper and a really bad taste in my mouth for the non-existent customer service at this location. The sad part is that if they had even made the smallest of effort to say we're sorry or that they were in the wrong I would have said no big deal and bought a new piece of my bumper knowing to never go back here. But instead I'm now forced to let others know of not only the terrible customer service, but also of the fact that you are absolutely at the mercy of any damage those machines do with no care given by employees who operate the place. Long story short; go to a different car wash that makes sure the customers, and their cars they entrust the company with, come first. read more

Okay, let me start by saying I gave Rich's 3 out 5 because it is a clean and maintained car wash. They normally have enough employees to keep things moving smoothly. In the past the employees have always been helpful, courteous and fairly prompt. I can speak these things as I have been using this business since they first opened so I've seen a few changes in them. I have also used several other locations but this was the go to due to the size and availability of pre-wash station, mat cleaners and air blowers. I joined the monthly membership program and I also have a number of family and friend that did as well. Recent months have had me rethinking things and my most recent adventure has saying enough with Rich's. I have been paying for the top wash and wash treatment from the beginning. I don't go every day but I want the option to and get the best service. Unfortunately, the other locations I visited does not offer that service. I also had a problem that suddenly when I enter the service was downgraded. When I would pull into the wash bay they would give me a little hassle. The first time I chalked it up to simple error. The attendant said that the car in front may have not supposed to come through and had used my service. He got me in to correct it. The next time I noticed it didn't give me the option at the check so I asked and the manager came out and said there was a change in the comp system that may have created the problem and he "fixed". The error occurred several more times. I even went in and got a new personal electronic sticker. This last time I asked the attendant as I entered he said yes I get the full service. When I pulled around to the wax bay another attendant walks out and basically says I had to pay for an upgrade. I told him no I don't I pay for the full thing and where the manager. The response, "Oh, he just left". Well there should be someone in charge at all times and that someone should know how to handle these situations. Once I realized there was no management I immediately told him to look up my account. He continued to tell me I had to purchase an upgrade. Finally, another employee said he would look it up and found that I did in fact pay for the full service. Here is why I will not pay another cent to Rich's. The first employee stated that had I just said "Please" I could have gotten my service. Really, now I need to politely beg for something I'm paying for. I'll keep my money and you can have a few choice four letter words to swallow with that "please!!!" I left with out my full service. Now, I have attempted to call the management to inform and to ensure the cancellation is handled. No luck with that either. Next stop the Better Business Bureau and if they take another cent from my account I'll be at the attorney's office. So, if you want to pay each time you go, it's a clean environment. You may have to deal with lack of managemental supervision and the staff may not be willing to handle a problem if it arise. I no longer feel it's a good idea to join their membership program and I will ensure my family and friends cancel and move on. If you decide to continue with them remember...SAY "PLEASE" WHEN YOU GIVE THEM UOUR MONEY!!! read more

Rich's car wash is an automatic drive thru wash that has servers different wash packages. I selected the $15 wash. The staff directing the cars into the wash were engaging in conversation as they directed the cars into the wash bay. My car wasn't clean after the wash and very dirty on top. You pay a bunch of money to wash your own car. I had to go through the car wash portion several times for my car to actually get washed. The guy who pressure wash is your car before you go in does a very half assed job is not adequately pressure wash the car to begin with. I wanted to go for a full service interior and exterior cleaning and for some reason there was nobody there who could do the interior of my car and I had to vacuum it myself. Took my car there in January. Wash broke down and we drove out with soap all over the car. We had to argue with an employee to let us back in without having to pay again. He relented, we went through again and it broke down again. We decided to try them again today. Wash worked and we decided to use the vacuum station. While vacuuming the car, an employee decided to empty large bins of dust right next to our car, covering our freshly washed car in black dust. I didn't bother arguing and just left vowing to never return. Long story short, the wash and facilities are really nice, but the employees are just awful. read more

This was my first time here. I didn't know you had to take your antenna off. I pulled up to the entrance and a guy flagged me on the guiding rail to enter the facility. I didn't know what to do for my first time. I feel there should be more assistance or a sign that says honk if it's your 1st time. I didn't know to put my truck in neutral bc I was distracted by 4 employees ripping my antenna off with out my consent. The first guy tried and back up came out the door. Literally 3 more guys came out to help this guy detach my antenna. He walked out grabbed my antenna as to show me that I'm a dumbass for having it on. He grabbed and bent it so hard to see it wabble back and forth like a catapult basically. Eventually the guy Pried my antenna off I rolled my window down he tossed it inside and then reached in my truck without my consent and felt my seats to tell me he liked my leather. I had my 5 and 6 year old inside. Don't reach in my truck. I then rolled up my windows without knowledge of knowing wtf was going to happen next. No one was at the end to tell me to look for green light to put truck back in drive to exit. I honestly felt like the dam car behind was going to rear end me so I took off. I pulled into academy and took pictures of my shitty ass tire cleaning job there. Wtf I paid $13 for this crap??? I'll never go here again. read more

This is by far my favorite Car Wash in Mobile! I quit going to Ultra Car Wash on Schillinger due to a bad experience and a friend told me about the new Rich's Car Wash on Airport! It's amazing! The employees are super nice and interact with customers when they're not too crowded and I've seen on many occasions the workers helping people wipe down and vacuum their cars and showing them how to use the floor mat cleaner they have. I will recommend this location to everyone !! read more

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE IN MOBILE TO TAKE YOUR CAR! The workers do not clean the inside like the one at Hillcrest, but the car wash itself is incredible. I tried it out with my fiancée's car and he was shocked as well about how shiny it was. I paid about 20 for the detail and wax AND the car wash and it was well worth it. They literally get every crack and crevice of your vehicle. The thing is, it's so high quality that the shine LASTS. I'm super impressed by this place and plan on taking my car and his here for now on. read more

I love the car wash experience and the free vacuums but i just wish they had more air freshener choices

This is my favorite place to go for a car wash. I recently got their $25 wash and it is absolutely worth every penny. You get the works from the automatic wash, a wax, and tire shine. I don't think my car looked this beautiful the day I drove it off the lot. Their space is very big, they have lots of vacuums and I honestly believe they have the best suction of any vacuums in Mobile. Plus the nozzles are shaped differently so you can get into all the cracks and crevices. In addition to the several different washes they offer there is also a bug treatment you can put on your car before you go through the machine which works really well and they have a machine that cleans your floor mats. It both washes and dries your floor mats all in one machine and it works really well. They have a $3 wash special on Monday. There may be another one on a different day but that's the only one I know of. I love these guys, I come out from midtown to go here and I will never wash my car anywhere else. read more
