When I reached out to ,"Business Customer Service" right away I could tell instantly they could care less. They asked me what I could only imagine was their standard questions. After about 5 minutes this women gave me the impression of defense and I was on my own even though I kept all my receipts and explained to her I always know who does services on my car at all times. Then this guy walks up to me and he looked like he could care less as well. They said they would call their people and get back to me however they didn't. Great marketing, lousy follow through. They got my money and my insurances money. Plus I had to pay $9000.00 for the damage they had done. These people made me feel like it was my fault that I install the windshield wrong and I have no idea how to take out and install a windshield. I had a chip/rock repair on my 2023 4Runner windshield today (May 18, 2026) I will never use safelite again, they said they could repair it I wasn't expecting it to look perfect, but I've had these done several times before around 2007 and they all came out looking good. Today mine looks exactly the same as I dropped it off, the size of a quarter starburst on my passenger side. I took it to another lifelite the gentleman in there said "personally they could have done better". I called customer service talked to them they switched me over to the manager at the shop I took my vehicle to, she told me the guy who did my repair may have not gotten all the water out of the chip before he filled it, it's raining today, I asked why didn't you reschedule me to a dryer day? Or use a dryer? The manager didn't give me a clear answer. My only option at this point is to live with it or replace my windshield. I told her she turned a $100 job into an $800 dollar job and she is the reason our insurance prices keep going up. I called my insurance, liberty, I asked about taking it to a Toyota dealer and having them replace my windshield he told me if Toyota doesn't see it as a safety issue I'll have to pay for it. Great install w/ minor issues. At the time of making my appointment my call was routed to the corporate (Assuming) I was made sure that neither the windshield molding or the windshield to have white on them and that I needed it color matched (popular issue with TT FJ Cruiser's, hence the whole reason I called). As I have very limited time off I show up early and they tell me after a week between making the appointment and walking in the front door that they do not have the right color piece and if I want done today I have to go with whatever they have. Obviously the manager of the store was not made aware of my situation until after I showed up and honestly I thought she was very kind and made sure to call me after multiple times to let me know what we could do and how to solve this issue. For the store itself I say they crushed it and did the best they could with what they had so that's a great value in my book. They took about 2.5 hrs for a windshield install and I cannot be happier about the glass itself. Great job all around besides the communication which is no fault of the store itself. read more

COMPLETE SCAMMERS! Spoke with the manager Christina because of damages done to my truck after a windshield replacement. I noticed it right away after the technician did the replacement and I got in my truck. I called them right away about the damaged done to my interior trim. The call center made a warranty appointment for me which they never showed up to. Christina the manager called me and blamed me for calling the call center even it's the number on their location website and said because I did that it messed up everything and it doesn't even show that I already paid. After sending pictures of the damages and the receipt. She tells me the damages were already there and sent me a picture that you can't even see. This is 2025 and the picture is more blurred than what a flip phone can do. I'm sure this is on purpose so she can use her tactics blaming the customers for the damages that were never there. After explaining to her that the picture she sent looks like the sun reflecting off the trim panel and it's not even in the exact same spot. She refuses to listen or acknowledge that she is wrong. As you can see right there in the pictures that the real damage is above the bright white light that she claims it's the damages that were already there and even in the smaller scratch the damage is below the bright light that she is claiming is the damage before the replacement. I'm a car guy and I keep my truck very clean and would most definitely know about that damage if it was already there. The fact that she tried to scam me and then lie about it after me proving her wrong it's just absurd and disgusting. There are tons of qualified independent shops out there and I thought I was doing my the right thing going with a big company because they will take care of you. Went to the Allison Way location in Arvada. Second and last time using them. First time they left a sensor laying on the floor, out of sight. So I had to go back the next day to find out if it was a necessary part. This time I left my car there for 11 hours, following the instructions on my appointment email that said pick up between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Showed up exactly at 5:00, and they were just getting started on it. The first time the manager was at least polite about the inconvenience. This time around, it was like I had some nerve expecting my car to be done, just because it had been there the entire damned day. The tech who did the job was at least courteous, so he alone earned them a 2-star rating. But it's time to find another shop. read more

My OEM windshield was denied by my insurance and Safelite never called me to let me know as I asked for on the original scheduled ticket. Price gouging. 2019 Subaru Impreza windshield replacement $1,065 Ridiculous, they claimed it was due to the mirrors needing to be adjusted and that accounted for the additional cost. Called a different company and got it done, with the mirror adjusting, for half the price ($560.00). If you can help it I would suggest going elsewhere. I had an appointment to get glass put in a Ford van. When the tech got here, he told me that he couldn't do the job because there was rust on the windshield frame. I told him it was just surface rust, and that they had done the job on this same vehicle with the same issue before. He said the only way that they would do it is if I took my work van to a body shop for repairs. Lol! I looked at it myself, and lifted the rubber seal around the windshield. The rust doesn't even go past the edge of the seal, and it's just surface rust. They told me that it was because they couldn't honor the nationwide warranty if it leaked. When I said I'd sign a waiver on the warranty, they said it's because the windshield could fall out. If they are concerned about the windshield falling out, that might be reason enough to go elsewhere. Not even worth the hassle with them. I'll remember this for sure when any of our other 3 vehicles need glass. Never again. read more

I was just talking to a girlfriend about how SOME mechanics talk down to women and even try to cheat us by charging for work we don't need or they didn't do. I had a quote for a 2021 Toyota RAV4 new windshield and was told about 415 for it with a possible recalibration fee. When the fee was processed it was an extra 495! total 912. I asked what makes camera recalibration so expensive and got a generic answer about materials and labor. I know I'm not a mechanic but an extra 500 to reset cameras seems excessive. I got a quote from Bright Auto Glass up the street and was told 495 for the parts labor and recalibration. I recommend going there. read more

Insurance job to replace windshield. Easy to book, notifications were condensed and timely, service tech was on time and friendly. Worked in my garage, fool of tools, nothing missing. He even moved his service vehicle when the neighborhood recycle truck came through. Polite as you please. I thought the bill to Insurance was a few bucks higher than I expected based on a previous personal quote without insurance. But, everything is more expensive with every passing day, Insurance included, in spades. they are the chosen provider by my insurance, so if I need auto glass work again, I will certainly do business with them again! read more

Update: I just learned that they over charged my credit card. I spent 20 minutes trying to get someone on the phone for a refund and the auto attendant gave an email for help. I send an email and the response, call customer care. I have called customer service and it is being refunded, but the amount of time and frustration this has caused is highly unnecessary. Now, the overall experience is ok, but mostly stressful and frustrating. My first time with a crack in the windshield. It was easy to schedule and the exclusive company for my insurance company so they handle the claim, which is nice. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in quick enough for it to just be a chip repair. It had doubled in size in just one day, so they had to replace the entire windshield. The noises it made after he was done were pretty scary. I was on the highway and it scared me to the point of pulling over to call the tech. Fortunately, after sitting in the sun for an hour the noise stopped. It would have been helpful information to have prior to driving the car. He was polite and helpful though, so overall the experience wasn't too bad. read more

I had a replacement windshield appointment scheduled between 12-5pm. At 4:50 I had not heard anything at all from Safelite. I called and was met with a very rude "agent" probably because his shift was almost over. I asked for a status update on my appointment. He put me on hold forever while he tried to get a hold of dispatch. They told me the installation would be there in 15 minutes at 5:05 or so. The tech shows up at 5:50 and tells me he didn't bring my windshield. I asked what needed to be done and he shrugged and said reschedule I guess. This was on a Friday so I had to call the store on Monday. The "manager" Matt could care less about what had happened. I asked for an escalated return for my replacement. He said "well I didn't take your order so I don't know what to tell you" I had to wait another 2 weeks! They wouldn't make an exception for their obvious mistake and come out and rectify it. So they give me another 12pm to 5pm window. Tech arrives at 6:30. Here's your picture proof. Sorry had to blur out my address. JUST so everyone knows... just because your insurance company directs you to Safelite, you don't have to use them. You can use any glass place. Don't give this company any business. I had a great time with this location! I made an appointment online and mistyped my insurance policy. They called to get my correct number and handle the claim perfectly. I chose to drop off my car for their drop off option and added new windshield wipers. I dropped off little before 9:30 am and went about my day. They ended up taking a little long than expected but they finished it after they closed anyways, which I appreciated. The technician Kyle (he's awesome by the way. Really nice and professional guy) called me and waited for me to arrive which took about 25 mins! He also removed the charge of the wipers because they took longer than expected. Replace my car's windshield. The staff was very respectful and professional. Unfortunately, the job was badly done. I had to go back because the cowl was not properly placed. Then I had to go back and claim a damage to my hood. Apparently the guy was working alone and scratched my hood. The manager offered to pay for the damage, which they did. And now, I have to make another trip to fix a molding issue (peeled off). Not happy with the workmanship at all. To be absolutely clear - my problem is not with this location (which has awesome staff) but the absolutely abysmal website and the nightmare of booking for this location online. Be aware that, if you book online, it's a "standby appointment" and they'll "fit you in if somebody doesn't show for their appointment." They were unclear about this at the time of booking. I made an appointment weeks in advance for a specific time. When I dropped my car off at said time they told me the would get to it as soon as possible but it could take all day. When I told them that I made an appoint they "looked into it". I was told there was some sort of an "anomaly" with my appointment but there was nothing they could do. The wrong windshield was ordered and at the shop when I arrived due to my error. Dan Hernandez recognized the error, found the correct windshield in their warehouse and had an employee pick it up. I was able to get my windshield fixed the same day! He had also found alternatives for getting me back to my house if we were unable to get the correct windshield the same day. Very satisfied with my experience with Safelite! I had to have a complete replacement on my windshield, and they came to my house (they told me between 8am-12pm, he arrived at 10am). Eric (goes by Dan) was FANTASTIC! Very friendly and professional! Not only did he replace my windshield, but he cleaned all of my windows, and vacuumed out my front seats (there were no glass shards to prompt this, so I was incredibly (and pleasantly) surprised by this unprompted nice gesture! I highly recommend this location and this particular gentleman! 11/10 would use this service again if I ever have the displeasure of having a completely cracked windshield lol. read more
