Noelle in Customer Service was also outstanding. She was attentive and made the entire exchange process for one of my furniture pieces smooth and stress-free. Overall, this was a very positive experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Belfort Furniture!

We have purchased from Belfort through the years and had been pleased…read more Unfortunately their service department has completely failed... to the point that a sofa that was delivered with a problem 10 months ago was picked up (instead of a single piece exchanged in home) after taking 9 months. Now despite 2 written requests to explain what's going on and no answer, now no one answers in service AND the line won't take recorded messages. This seemed so simple. Sofa delivered with a mid-shaped back cushion. I was told at delivery that a new piece would be ordered and replaced when it came in. I waited 9 months for the call that the replacement cushion arrived. But instead of replacing it, they took the sofa saying the repair would be done and sofa returned. That was 3 weeks ago. I've used the service email to request clarification. Twice. No response other than the auto message that my email was received. Today I called. No answer on the service line. Mailbox 'not taking messages. So, sofa bought and paid for. But I have no sofa and no answers. What good is a nice showroom if the service department is lousy, customers ignored and store shows no concern? Update! I had hope when, after publishing this review I got a call from Belfort. My hope was misplaced and speaks further to their failure. The call was to "arrange delivery" asap since repairs were (suddenly) complete. I asked what repairs were done to make sure we were on the same page before coming out here. Amazingly she returned to the phone to say her call was in error, repairs were NOT MADE and there would be no delivery. I asked what they HAD done in the weeks since picking up my sofa and she didn't know. No one was there who could tell me but I'd get a call first thing this morning. Here we are. Yet again with no response. The service department there is a mess.

Quick tip, have a list ready to go pick up groceries. Another quick tip, remember to bring that list so you won't have to fight to remember what the purpose for stopping here was. Without everything in front of me, I had to make a list on the run, with items that I knew would make a meal. Hard thing is that every time I would remember an item, I would have to run to a different end of the grocery section. I didn't grab much, but I felt like I was overcharged a bit for some of the items. The total of the bill compared to the number of items just wasn't matching. I know, tariffs, inflation, and what not contributed to the price. But I still feel like the prices are getting out of hand.

We are moving abroad so we can't continue the service but it was lifesaving especially for the earliest months. Also my baby almost never had any leaks! I'm a local postpartum doula and I love referring my clients to The Breastfeeding Center…read more One of my clients recently said Tri Jessup was AMAZING with her difficult case! Tri taught her a different feeding position (laid back position), and after that latching baby became pain-free and her cracked nipples healed right up! She was so happy. Recently one of my dear doula colleagues told me she had a great experience during her internship with The Breastfeeding Center. Becoming an IBCLC is a long, difficult process, but she said the Breastfeeding Center did a great job helping her improve her skills working under different providers. She passed the exam on the first try and she is now an IBCLC. So grateful The Breastfeeding Center is such an amazing resource for my clients and colleagues.

This review is primarily focused on the services provided by Tamika Harris, Lactation Consultant…read moreand Shelly Matthews, Lamaze Instructor. My family worked with Tamika on a nearly weekly basis for the first two months of my child's life. Tamika far exceeded my expectations and enabled me to achieve my breastfeeding/pumping goals. Prior to meeting with her, I knew very little about breastfeeding or pumping. She helped me to figure out how much to feed my baby and how often, how to pump, what flange size and nipple shield size I needed, how much weight my child should be gaining, how to heal my nipples, what questions I should be asking my pediatrician and ob/gyn, and the list goes on and on. She is literally a treasure trove of information and resources. She has been by far the biggest asset on my breastfeeding journey. She is compassionate, encouraging, and empathetic. I cannot sing her enough praises. In preparation for delivery, my husband and I took Shelly's Lamaze class. I found her course to be more beneficial than the services/information provided by my doula. Shelly helped us to understand childbirth from beginning to end. As a result, we knew what to expect and felt incredibly prepared. During my labor, my husband and I used many of the techniques taught in class. The Lamaze class was intense and full of relevant information, but Shelly makes it entertaining and memorable. I, especially, appreciated her technique of mentioning important concepts multiple times throughout the course. Furthermore, she is a great storyteller. I highly recommend taking the Lamaze course with Shelly. I have taken other courses with the Center, including Baby Care for the Breastfeeding Family, and Breastfeeding and Pumping. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed in these courses and did not find them to be helpful. I would not recommend these courses at the Center. Instead, there are other places in the area that do a better job at covering these topics. Overall, I think the Breastfeeding Center has been an excellent resource during my childbirth and breastfeeding journey.
