Their entire staff in the Fremont location is friendly, helpful, and they try to accommodate your needs whenever possible. Our organization is a non-profit charity, run entirely by unpaid volunteers. The SAF Keep Manager Robyn and every single staff have gone above and beyond their work obligations to help our organization in countless ways. This place has the most wonderful and sincere staff. Robyn, Keeana, Tom, Tino, Jim and Shade are all amazing. Aside from their great staff, SAF storage unit is extremely clean and well kept. The area is monitored by security cameras and well lit in the evening. SAF provides courtesy truck rental to help with your move-in. If you are still searching for storage space, look no more. We had prepaid and renewed several months (6 or 7) in advance. After 3 years of renting we ran into some personal trouble. We asked for a refund and they were inflexible to the lease. They locked the unit in Sept. for security. It remains locked with nothing until mid 2012. There are many choices, just make the right one and hope no interruption occurs in your commitments. The question is locking people into contracts whether 6 months or 4 years...can prepaid contracts between customer and business take advantage or are there limits to damages of righteous consumers?. These are difficult times, and no one should be take advantage of when possible especially after being loyal for many years. read more

Very friendly and helpful. I did a little shopping around before I throw my stuff into storage and I thought this place was the friendliest and the most helpful. They have a "free" move in truck to get your big items there which was very awesome. There was some small fees to pay but way cheaper than renting a truck. The staff showed me all around and I do mean all around. I apologized for being one of those customers who can't make up their minds but they never complained. They actually never looked pissy the whole time. Gotta love that for service. So now I have stuff there and I'm very happy.. they have competitive prices and an alarm system and cameras so you feel nice and secure. Very clean and the spaces are nicely sized. I have to agree with the previous reviewer. Saf Keep's staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. I actually called around and even had a reservation at another nearby storage facility located near a business park, thinking that it was my only choice (I had a previous dealing with them, but wasn't happy about their lack of follow through with their rental trucks -- for fear of a defamation lawsuit, the other storage place will remain nameless). After I secured my reservation at the other place, I did some searching around for reviews and stumbled on the review about Saf Keep on Yelp. I called Saf Keep and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and courteous staff which intrigued me enough to stop by for a tour. I canceled my other reservation a few minutes after the end of the tour. It's true about the "free" 14 ft. move-in truck (It is free with some negligible fees) and it was a lifesaver! I would have had to rent a truck from uhaul, home depot or some other truck rental company to get all the stuff from my house to the storage facility. The price was also easier on the wallet than the other place. I got a bigger unit for less money that I would have paid for a slightly smaller elsewhere and I could pay month-to-month. You have to watch out for the promo deals at some of the other franchises because there are strings attached. The first month might be a dollar, but the minimum number of months contract and "promo" rates for this "deal" make up for the first month's discounted rate. I also chose this place for their alarm on each unit, cleanliness, steel walls and doors, lighting in each unit, hall and perimeter, and feeling of safety at any time day or night that I went by. read more

I was thrilled with how easy and inexpensive it was to store my things at Saf Keep short-term (less than a month). Since the first month was free, all I paid was an administrative fee for the first month (about $25, I think). This was for a huge 12'x'30' garage that would normally cost around $400/month. Then, for only $15, I was able to rent the Saf Keep moving truck for my move (only applies during your move-in, not your move-out, and costs more if you go above 20 miles). The truck, the storage space, and the rental office were impeccably clean! I especially want to thank Jessie, who was awesome at helping me out. She was friendly and explained everything really clearly. She even waived the fee for the lock since I was only renting for a few weeks. My only complaint is that they close around 8:45pm, so you can't access your space after that. All in all, though, I am willing to overlook that because of the excellent and easy experience I had. read more

Saf Keep Storage is the best place to keep all of your extra stuff! I've had units elsewhere, but this is the safest and cleanest place I've been. I've been at Saf Keep now for 3 years. Very secluded, easy in and out access. Clean bathroom! Cameras everywhere. And there is no way for someone to cut your locks (which has happened to me elsewhere) because of their locking system. You will NOT go wrong with Saf Keep. The hours of operation and gate access are perfect for my busy schedule, as they are open late! The security at the property is very reassuring. I can sleep well at night, knowing that my storage is locked up safe and sound at Saf Keep. read more

This place is very clean and tidy. The staff (Tracey, Jessica, Michael) are very professional, super friendly, and extremely helpful. There is a security gate and many cameras here so I feel a lot safer than I did when I was at another storage facility not too far away. A service that I really value is having my packages delivered there which could be held here for up to 48 hours with no extra charge! I have to say that the management team of Tracy & Jessica & staff at the Osgood location in FREMONT is by far the best storage place I hav ever rented. I was trying to condense my 2 storages into one unit and have been really really sick lately dealing wit cancer side effects & Tracy & Jessica went out of their way to make sure I didn't need to worry about anything other than getting better after not being able to continue my condensing. I had been dealing mostly wit Jessica however Tracy always responded to me via email when Jessica was out or left for the day b/c she wanted me to know she received my email & was working wit Jessica to make sure all my questions were answered and or issues were fixed. At the end of the move Tracy & Jessica overwhelmed me by their genuine generosity by caring about my health when my own fam hasn't helped me or taken me to my dr appointments & my so called frands deserted me after my diagnosis of cancer. So wut I'm trying to say is that this place is by far the most caring individuals I kno & they luv their jobs & their tenants & will do wut ever they can to help yu & will answer all ur questions yu hav & will always email yu back in a timely manner. I've been renting 2 storage units for the last 5 years and now hav just one unit thanks to Tracy & Jessica & I trust them & the facility wit my memories & priceless articles. I'm always going to rent at this facility if I need storage space & will tell everyone I kno to rent here also. I used to rent at Public Storage in FREMONT & that was a nightmare b/c I had to deal wit a rude staff & owner & had rodents that visited my unit without an invitation from me & didn't hav any food in my storage to attract the rodents either. The facility was full of rodents of all kind and you can guess I got me stuff out of there lightning fast & was so happy to find SAFEKEEP Storage in FREMONT that has no rodent problems & has the best security system I've ever seen & has real cameras that actually record daily and nightly so they will know if anyone gets into the facility. During my move I had left my storage keys attached to one of the flat beds yu use to put ur stuff on & left to go home & became frantic the next morning when I couldn't find my keys that had my storage unit keys along wit my car keys & a house key to a friend house where I was staying & Jessica's maintenance guy found them & she took the time to watch the security tapes to find out who the keys belonged to & called me right away so I wouldn't be worried. Then told me to tell the front desk I spoke to her and she validated who I was & would leave a note for the staff so I could get my keys back right away. Now I can't remember a time that a business would go through their security tapes to find the owner of keys found on their property & Jessica did it for me & would have done it for anyone who had left their belongings there b/c that's the kind hearted person she is. Tracy the manager would do the same b/c she has a big heart & her staff are just as kind as she is. I can keep going on how much the SAFEKEEP location on Osgood has the best staff & the best facility to protect your stuff for a competitive price & your benefits are far more than other storage places. read more

What is there not to like about Saf Keep Fremont?! They're the best! I was referred here by my friend and first impressions were awesome. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Jessica made first contact and was very informative. On the day that I first moved in, Michael made things very quick and simple. I was able to rent their moving truck for the day of the move and just the whole process was quick and easy. Their security is out of this world. I never have to worry about whether my unit will be broken into or not (not like a PS that I rented from before). They have a security code system that you have to input not only upon arriving at the main gate but also to access the elevator. If only I had known about Saf Keep before, when I actually did have some valuables stored. Just recently I moved from the bigger unit to the smaller unit and once again, Jessica was very helpful and accommodating. She was able to reserve the smaller unit and made the change very painless. There isn't enough great things I cant say about them! This by far is the best storage unit to rent from. The facility is always clean and very roomy. Also, they have several convenient ways to pay. You can pay online on their website, go in personally, and there's a machine outside where you can make your payment (if you can't make it during their business hours). I don't have any expensive items; but knowing that whatever I have stored is safe, is comforting. - The prices are one of the lowest if you compare against other storage facilities of this quality. - Staff is very helpful. - Flexible payment options. I don't have to store my cc information with them. - There is an option to sell off your items. For me time was too short; but do check it out. Before renting a storage unit at Saf Keep, I had never heard of the company. Thanks to Google I was searching for something reasonably priced with the need to a few days following. Upon arrival, I liked that it looked clean. Once I went inside staff was friendly, and fortunately there was a spot that would fit my belongings for a good price. When they showed me the unit I was pleased, but even better, I love the security. I love how you must enter your code pretty much each time you enter, and to access elevators. There are no foul odors, vacant units are clean, and all is well. More key things: I got to get $15 off of my next months rent when I spun the wheel they had! They have their own trucks available to you to rent! What I am most pleased and grateful for with this company, is that if you request it, they have someone who will assist with moving things!
