Outstanding service and fun environment. Very old west themed with a variety of steaks, burgers, salads and other assorted treats. I had skinny margarita and Thai peanut salad. Margarita was yummy and packed a punch. Salad was flavorful and wontons and rice noodles ( scarce) added a nice crunch to the yummy, slightly spicy dressing. But try as I might, I didn't find one peanut, edamame or sesame seeds as advertised. However, it wasn't all bad. 1/2 size was quite large and dressing was good as well as the delicious biscuits and cinnamony flavored butter. They have a limited beer selection: my go to is Blue Moon and Guinness. I wish they had a darker stout. Their monster platter is more quantity than quality. 3 mini slider, half rack of rib, 3 chicken tenders. Nothing is really flavorful. But nothing is greasy either. Their onion rings and sweet potatoes fries tasted like it came out of an air fryer. I appreciate that. The platter is served with four sauces: bbq, sweet chili, spicy Mayo, and cinnamon Mayo. I like their cilantro rice cooked with chicken stock as a side. Their main entrees are better than the platter. The full rack as entree came out hot and more flavorful with their dry rub. Their ribeye was excellent with garlic better. Good food, over the top desserts. We usually go for birthdays. They have a few vegetarian options but I'd like more. BUT... We had the BEST service from Catherine. She found out it was my birthday and brought me a special dessert on top of the other desserts we ordered. Came in for bottomless mimosas and got a pizza (any entree will qualify) and stayed WAY later than expected because everyone was so friendly and fun to talk to. Love this place so much! I feel like in the past couple years of gone down the hill a little bit but I still keep coming. Recently we went from my friends birthday who wanted bottomless, bloody Mary's for brunch and were told they ran out of bloody Mary mix, so they were no bloody Mary's.. Keep in mind this was on a Sunday at 11am so peak brunch time so it really made no sense. I'm mad at myself for not just going to get some mix but they weren't very accommodating about it at all so not sure they would have used it. Possibly the worst dinner experience of my lifetime. They put us as seated, when we were not, so we had to wait for a seat longer than expected. We watched others walk in, eat, and leave before we got our food. We got half of our tables food and it was cold, 10 minutes later got three other plates but still forgot one. The manager said he would comp 3 meals but then told the waitress he would not. Then we waited to speak to him for 10 minutes. We paid the whole bill and left never to return again. Service sucked, my work group of 18 came to Saddle Ranch around 4pm, after the Angel Game. We just ordered appetizers and drinks (beers, water). There was hardly any people coming in, there was several servers about 8-10 helping other people but our server just sucked. The bartender was taking their sweet time. I'm not kidding it took us 30 min to get us a beer... JUST A BEER!!!! We talked to the waiter & told us that the kegs were getting changed. So we were like okay.... 1hr later we are still waiting for our drink, half of our group left cause the service sucked. So just 6 of us stayed with two kids. Our friend talked to the manager & let them know that the service sucked, mainly the bartering, we have been waiting for our drink for over 30min and still no BEER! How hard can that be!????? Anyways, manager came back and said it's because they were changing the keg. Lol We we're like okay, funny, but out server had already used that excuse. But thanks.. Moral of the story, don't come here even on the non-busy days for drinks cause the bartender sucks... they take too long and the michelada is just soooo spicy. It has a lot of chili seeds. Excellent service by our waitress (Vivian) at dinner tonight. Forst time eating here and really was nervous because it was Saturday night and not very busy, however it got busier after 6:30pm. I had the rib eye steak and it was pretty good. Wife had the bbq chicken and she really liked it. Decent drink menu and prices. Heard their Arizona drink is the drunk to get, but I don't do tequila. The bartender knew we were there for a birthday brunch and made sure we tried his gummy shots. They were so good! For brunch, I got the Cajun burger, protein style with a black bean burger. Save your time and money. The server started well then throughout the dinner he tried so hard to be cool and laid back. He became unprofessional and our table wasn't bussed throughout our time there at alll. I had to get up myself and throw away stuff at the trash by the bar. Then to top it off there were HUGE WATER BUGS crawling around!! When I brought up the concern the server LITERALLY ignored me didn't even apologize or anything. Last night we dined here on a whim because we are from out of town and I had heard good things about Saddle Ranch. We arrived around 8:00 pm on Tuesday and I have to say I was impressed with this crew on duty tonight for making our dinner such a pleasurable experience. Heydi was our hostess as she sang along with what was playing . I even starting singing with her I just had to chime in ! She was outstanding at running the entire front of the house she was host, server, busser , she just jumped in wherever needed. Outstanding standard and example of a hard worker she's definitely a keeper! I wanted to speak to the manager on duty which Heydi explained his name was Gerry. My husband and I met Gerry and when he walked over I could tell he was in hospitality. His demeanor was polite, and well mannered. We told him about our wonderful experience we had being as though it was our first time. I told him that his staff of people that night all seemed to be cohesively working for the good of the restaurant. I am a Christian woman , and told him about God providing and when times are tough that it's just a short time and season . He was kind and I asked to hug him and it was a beautiful moment. My husband and I own a few businesses and we would love any one of these staff members running our stores. They are true assets and sometimes people just need a little good news on some days and I'm so thrilled to be writing about it.
