My 7 year old son about to get massaged by Ann.
Jessica C.

I've been getting massaged by Ann for over a year now, and I now take my 7 year old son too! It's our little self care date once a month, we signed up for her monthly massage subscription (my son gets a 30 min and I do an hour) we get a little add on bonus with every massage with the subscription. My son loves the hot stones and aromatherapy immunity oils, I normally do the CBD oil. We sleep so good on massage days, I usually schedule an evening appointment and go home and straight to bed after. During my massage Ann makes a little pillow nest for my son to lounge in while he waits. The massage room always smells so good and it's a very calm safe atmosphere, I definitely recommend Ann!!

On massage table while holding baby for postpartum massage.

I went in for a postpartum massage and it was an amazing experience. It's difficult leaving your newborn baby and getting self-care while being postpartum, so the fact that I could hold my baby while getting a relaxing massage was amazing! I booked for 90 minutes, it gave time to soothe my baby to sleep when she got fuzzy and still enjoy the service. I recommend this to all postpartum moms!

I've driven past here multiple times and didn't realize this was here. We started by soaking in the hot tubs, and my friends graciously booked me for the exfoliation scrub and massage, which was a 10 out of 10. My masseuse (sorry, I forgot your name!) was amazing!! I felt like a smooth baby afterwards. After that, we grabbed lunch at the restaurant attached to the spa. Thankfully, they provide slippers so you can just walk across the hallway to the restaurant. We ate well, and then spent the rest of our time in the saunas, which were amazing. I loved the range of saunas, and I appreciated that the common area had tons of space; it was quiet and serene. Definitely would recommend to others. It's a bang for your buck for all the services offered here. We'll definitely be back!

After a hot and humid vacation I felt like I had extra nasty dead skin cells so I told my Korean…read morefriend we needed to get a scrub together. K Spa is a Korea Spa. If you aren't familiar with a Korean spa, prepare to be naked in the wet areas, and they give you a spa outfit for the common areas. K Spa is really friendly for first timers cause they have a sheet with etiquette and rules for those not familiar with a Korean Spa experience. We made our spa reservation about 2 weeks in advanced. We both got the 60 Minute Oil Massage ($125) which comes with admission, Korean scrub, and an oil massage. Come at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time if you're doing the scrub, as you need to soak for optimal dead skin cell removal. So we got lockers and out spa outfits. There is a shoe locker by the entrance and then larger lockers further inside. My friend and I started off taking a shower to clean off before going into the jacuzzis. The wet area has the same amenities as many other Korea spas. There are showers, both standing ones and sitting ones where you can scrub each other's backs or shave your own legs. There are cold, warm and hot jacuzzi. They have sauna. The size of the wet area and the individual jacuzzis are on the small side compared to other Korean spas I've been to. Anyways, we went to the warm jacuzzi and soaked for half an hour, with some brief water breaks in between. Towards the time of our appointment, we went towards the treatment area. The ladies look at the numbers on our locker keys and identify us for the treatment. My lady did not speak much English but that didn't matter cause we were able to communicate well nonverbally. The pressure was perfect and she was so thorough. I felt so clean after all that dead skin cells was removed. The oil massage was such a nice way to moisturize after getting scrubbed. The common areas are co-ed. The main space was really warm. It was too hot outside to deal with that warm feeling. There are also small communal rooms for ice, red clay, salt, and forest. We peaked in the common areas but we were getting hungry after our treatment so we decided to go to the restaurant connected to the spa. Didn't love the restaurant but it was nice having the option to eat something nearby and convenient. We paid at the entrance so when we left, we just had to return the keys and any tip envelops. The staff also have venmos and some even have zelle so that makes it easier if you're short on cash. Overall I thought it was great value for spending a few hours at the spa with my friend. Until next time.

Once the massage started, she did a kind of body scan and she worked on all my tense areas. It was a deep tissue massage that definitely hurt but was very worth it. She made sure to ask if the pressure was okay each time it got intense and I told her yes (I can handle pain), I'm sure that if I asked to go softer she would but I was just letting her do her thing and trusting the process. I wanted to see what it was like the first time since I'll be returning for more sessions. This massage was nothing like the "regular" massage you get at one of those massage parlors where they have a routine and go about the appointment. Nancy took the time to focus on areas that I didn't even know needed to be worked on and I felt like complete jelly afterwards. She even did some cupping (my first time) and used this vibrating massage pad (heaven), my nose got stuffed halfway through and she put on some eucalyptus oil to open up my airways (very thoughtful). Nancy seems very intuitive to what your body needs so I'm sure that each massage she gives is going to be individualized to your body. She was also very informative about aftercare and what my body will be experiencing the following days and she was right. I got the massage on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I was sore and felt bruised but today I feel completely fine and I'm ready to go back lol. Within the first 10 minutes of the massage I knew I was a lifelong client. Immediately after I left I was raving to all my friends about her and hopefully they'll be visiting soon. I was even able to purchase a gift card!

If you're in Whittier and need a massage that actually makes a difference, Nancy is the one to see. Worth every penny!

Our sinuses were not happy with that much down laying facedown. I would have liked to feel the use of the masseuses forearms, she only used her hands. They offer a wide range of services and equipment, including infrared saunas, full-body cryo chambers, teeth whitening, IV injections like NAD+ boosters, various recovery tools, and general health, wellness, and beauty treatments. I'm sure there's much more--this is just what I've noticed in my two visits. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner (I presume), who is also a veteran. She has an incredible heart and mind, and it's clear that she's not only passionate but also genuinely curious. I really appreciate supporting local businesses run by quality people who share a similar ethos: putting people first and letting the money come second. The rest of the team is just as outstanding. You're greeted with a bright smile at the front desk by someone who is knowledgeable and helpful, and if you have the pleasure of working with the nurse, she has the lightest touch in the business. I'm terrible with needles--big Marine baby here--but I barely felt it when the IV went in. I even asked if the needle was super tiny because it felt so much better than when I get labs done at the VA! The staff can be welcoming and helpful, but depending on the day, they can also come across as less friendly or approachable. My bigger issue, though, is the gym etiquette from some of the members. I notice a lot of people don't wipe down their sweat after using benches or equipment, and some don't rerack their weights when they're finished. There was actually one situation where a guy finished his workout, left the bench covered in his sweat, and walked away. I politely asked him, "Hey, are you done with this?" He just stared at me and walked away without saying anything or wiping down the bench. Like, come on, dude. Talk about being a jerk. It takes a few seconds to wipe down the equipment after you're done using it. I also wish people were more aware of their surroundings when recording themselves. If you're filming a workout, that's fine, but getting annoyed because someone happens to walk behind you or needs to walk through the area to rerack weights is unnecessary. The gym is a shared space, not a personal studio. Be aware that other people are trying to work out too. Another major issue is how overcrowded it can get, especially around 4:00 a.m. I'm sometimes like, "Damn, it's this crowded already?" The gym has a lot of equipment, but when it's packed, getting to the equipment or dumbbells you actually want can feel like navigating an obstacle course. You might have to go around multiple people, benches, machines, or weights just to get to the equipment you're trying to use. That being said, I do like the gym overall. It has plenty of equipment and it gets the job done. I just think better gym etiquette from members, a little more awareness when filming, and better management of the crowded areas would make the experience much better.
