The check in desk is where I was greeted by the owner Susan! She offers yoga mats & towels for a very small fee. I noticed some super cute clothing and jewelry for sale. The actual studio was like being in a retreat away from all of the hustle and bustle of the real world. The floors, the inspirational quote on the wall & the basic/simple ambiance! I felt comfortable and proud that I was doing this! The studio offers a great deal of classes every day, and now they have added two late night (8pm) classes during the week that are perfect for my more often than not crazy schedule. I've taken classes with 4 of the instructors so far, and they all have been absolutely wonderful. I have been particularly addicted to the Yin classes, since a bout of anxiety a few months ago made me realize I needed to slow down my pace a little and let go. Of all the studios I've been to in Broward and Palm Beach, I honestly feel that PS is the best there is out there. The energy and vibe of the location, the genuine care that each instructor gives all their students, and of course the variety of options for all levels and different styles of practice; all of this, and that intangible je ne sais quoi makes PS Yoga Studios #1 in my book. They also have a lot of yoga teacher trainings and retreats coming up. I took the: Warm Athletic Recovery class taught by Sasha on Sunday evening. It was probably my favorite yoga class that I have taken all year. I can't wait to take her class again tomorrow. I'm excited to try out the different styles of yoga and deepen my practice.
