I'm very grateful that I chose Yogi Hari's Ashram to do my yoga training. To me, Yoga is much more than "Asanas" and "flexibility". It's a path that leads me to a spiritual enlightenment, building the best of myself, finding my purpose of life and experiencing feelings of happiness at any time. This is what I experienced with Sampoorna Yoga. Sampoorna Yoga is integral, which fulfill different types of yoga: Hatha, Raja, Karma, Bhakti, Jnana and Nada. I experienced every day plenty of energy, even though I woke up everyday at 5 am and went to bed around midnight after reading my book, my body was more energized than ever. I opened my heart to receive all the wisdom given by Guru Hari and I experienced a high spiritual level. He is a book of knowledge. I am grateful of his honesty and the straightforward way he teaches. There were two intense weeks absorbing the history of the yoga, alignments and meditations. I focused myself in learning, reading and paying attention. I developed more discipline, patience and happiness. I was delighted by Rasa with her lovely voice singing mantras and playing all the instruments at the same time. Her food is deliciously amazing! I admire her, she is a hard worker during the day and elegant lady during the satsang. Rama, the teacher is pure love, disciplined, he was an inspiration for all the students. Yogi Hari's Ashram is a place surrounded by Nature and it's designed to grow up spiritually, is not for vacation to go to hang out. Far away from being a religious temple, they teach the philosophy of Yoga and essentially how to be a happy being and joyful from the inside out. I read some Reviews here in Yelp and this is my opinion... - "Accommodations offer not luxury": this is correct! Yogi Hari's Ashram instead offers plenty of deep spiritual knowledge which is impossible to find in a fancy Studio. This is not a Four Season Hotel or a vacational rental place. This is surrounded by Nature and it's designed to grow up spiritually, not to go to hang out. Life is about choosing what you like better: an organic small healthy apple or a big one full of hormones. - "The owner is a little angry man": we are free to see a reflection of ourselves in others. Most of the time we mirror our attitude in others. I think he talks direct, straight and firm. He has unlimited wisdom. It doesn't matter how a person speaks, what matters is if you have the capacity to absorbe the knowledge. Simple rule in life: Do not take it personally. We should always remember our moms, sometimes she speaks sweet and strong when is needed. - "Religious cult": this is a philosophy, far away from being religious. It doesn't matter if you are catholic, buddhist, etc. This is a path to find Enlightenment, happiness, joy and to be healthy from the inside out. I highly recommend this place. I am so glad I did it. Thank you to Yogi Hari, Rasa and Rama and the rest of my class. read more

I went to the Ashram for the first time this Sunday for the satsang. I was really excited, nervous, and not sure what to expect. When I arrived to the building it was really dark and I wasn't sure which door to enter. So I entered the front door. I was met with people sitting at a table eating a vegetarian meal. Yogi Hari sat at the edge of the table. I introduced myself but everyone stared at me pretty blankly. Then one girl showed me where the satsang was. During the Satsang I was one of two other new guests. He would only acknowledge the other two guests and ignored me. He asked their names and engaged with them. Someone had to bring his attention to acknowledge me but he just looked at me and didn't ask for my name like the other two women. The satsang was beautiful. Afterwards, he gave a talk on the importance of health. The first time he acknowledged me was when he looked directly at me and asked me if " i knew what a blunt was?" So weird. After the satsang he asked if anyone had questions. I asked if they had other events throughout the month. He mentioned the yoga teacher training. Then he looked directly at me and asked "ANY OTHER QUESTIONS!?" In a strange tone. When it was over everyone kneeled in front of his feet and bowed while he pat their heads. I chose not to. It was my first time there and I simply went to feel it out. I was respectful but I didn't feel called to bow at his feet. I was the only one who didn't. Then, a student wanted to give the guests a tour. I was completely ignored and I felt a lot of weird energy. All though I'm sure the yoga teachings are beneficial and the garden has many wonderful herbs like soursop leaves I would not go back. I came with an open mind and excitement to learn but I left with disappointment and confusion. I will look for another ashram that hopefully aligns with me much better read more

Note the business keeps removing truthful reviews and leaving up reviews from 8 years ago. I attended a 200-hour yoga teacher training course at the ashram. During my time at the Ashram, I encountered unwarranted sexual advances from Yogi Hari, which made me profoundly uncomfortable and distressed. Yogi Hari also verbally abused me and publicly humiliated me in front of the other students. These actions were deeply distressing and detrimental to my well-being. On the second day of my stay at the ashram, Yogi Hari made sexual advances towards me in front of others attending the program. His behavior was disrespectful and unsuitable for someone in his position as a Yogi Master and teacher. After denying his request for sexual favors, Yogi Haris continued to publicly humiliate me on at least 5 occasions during the program. My attempts to express my concerns to Ashram staff were not met with his removal of his interaction with students as I believe he suffers from dementia and is unable to control his sexual outbursts. It is essential to remember that Yogi Hari's actions not only violated the trust I placed in the Ashram but also conflict with the ethical standards expected of a yoga teacher and spiritual leader. This behavior calls into question the suitability of Yogi Hari's continued participation at the Ashram. Many have reported this business to Yoga Alliance. this is my third time posting my review which continues to disappear. read more

Completed the 200hr yoga instructor certification as of today. The first few days I wondered what I was doing to myself and questioned my decision. As I persevered through the initial shock of my daily life schedule change I began to feel the most energized than I have in a long while. Before I came I was working a ton as a nurse during this pandemic era we are in, working overtime a ton and hit an emotional wall. The opportunity presented itself to me to take this course and I did without even reviewing it or looking up Yogi Hari's extensive and impressive history. The staff there are the most giving selfless people. Not sure why there is even a bad review on this place except for knowing that people project fears and anger. What it boils down to is knowing who you are, knowing your divinity and this is what Yogi Hari teaches. Before I did this course I was already very spiritual and enlightened, it's what helped me manifest being able to take this course. But what this experienced pulled out of me was something I never even knew existed in me. I've meditated for years, I've done yoga, I've eaten healthy but there's a spirit attached to this course that I've never experienced. It's about peace within, peace with yourself. Suggestion before you do the 2 weeks to take at least a week and try to drink a ton of water and just stretch daily really well, try to get those toxins out before you arrive. Gradually work your way to going without meat, maybe bring some jerky with you just incase your body starts to crave meat. Make sure to read the chants and songs meaning so you know what you are chanting, it's all about peace and love. This course is about tradition and teaching from the intention of keeping the Yoga practice sacred and not just focusing on the physical aspect of Yoga. The exam was hard for me but just do your best on it and look on quizlet for studying for Sampoorna Yoga- hint hint‍ Om Shanthi Om Peace....When the STUDENT is ready the GURU will appear. With love and for the benefit of all... I hope this comes with some insight and help. Ps: expect to get up at 530 am daily for 14 days in a row, sit for satsung meditation and chanting for a couple of hours, yoga for the next couple of hours , break for lunch the class again from 2-6 then 730-930 every day. You don't have much time for the outside world but that's what makes you transform, stick with it and you will have a metamorphosis change. read more

My two weeks with Yogi Hari definitely were not easy, it was challenging and it was a wonderful opportunity for growth. I really enjoyed my time here! I learned so very much! Rama, Sita and Rasa as well as the other volunteers are wonderful and of course so is Yogi Hari :-) A couple tips would be to definitely bring a small fan. You are barefoot in the house all the time and you can't wear shoes so little socks with grip are nice. Be prepared to volunteer 1 hour a day for karma yoga and if that is something that you don't want to do I would suggest that you don't come, because it really throws off the energy of the group when a couple people are not participating. You also have Dish Duty in the kitchen for approximately three meals, I found this to be fun and you work with four other students. Be prepared to give up alcohol, smoking and caffeine for your two weeks and I would highly suggest that you break the cell phone addiction by always leaving it in your room and not bringing it with you to lecture so that you are fully present :-) I found the food to be very delicious and satisfying, maybe too satisfying LOL I was hoping to lose more weight but at least I was able to lose a couple pounds! This of course was my responsibility and due to enjoying the bread and many meals with carbs. There are stores that aren't far away and there are students that live close by that have cars so it's normally easy to go pick up something at the store if you need it. They do ask for you to be modest and not to show your belly so plan on bringing tank tops that are full length. It can be super super hot here I never wore any of my lightweight sweaters that I brought and I came in April, I also only wore long leggings the first day after that it was shorts. You will definitely want an all white outfit although there is a Target nearby it's helpful if you just bring that with you! I highly recommend this training in fact I am going to offer it to my children as a gift if they are truly interested! Thank you so much for this amazing affordable experience! read more

The yogi could be nicer to people that have never done yoga. He was very rude to me because I was not moving like the main class of 18 yr olds. I am in my late 30's and new to yoga. Would be nice to acknowledge that. The pictures I see of this place are not realistic to the age of the classes there. There are very young women in these classes. Also the place is disorganized if you come during the early morning hours. read more

I've had three visits to this Ashram and have taken both the beginner and advanced training. My last visit was to do karma yoga, basically working at the ashram as an act of selfless service. My teacher training there was good initially, but there were red flags that I should have seen early on that became clear with my last visit. I cut my last visit short, leaving abruptly, after watching this "guru" humiliate his 'disciples'. He made fun of one young woman for mispronouncing the spiritual name he had given her, pretty strange since he mispronounces Sanskrit terms for asanas in all of his videos. He talks really low and then accuses you of being hard of hearing. When asked his disciples of speaks really low, no one would speak ... They all just nodded yes. Lots of mind games and manipulation. The yoga practice itself is great, but not really his unique system, it's really Sivananda yoga with some minor modifications. Pay more and go somewhere else, you can do better than this. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. This school may have been good at one time but it is horrible now. Yogi Hari belittles and berates the students, at one point he said "all cats and horses should be dropped off at the local Chinese restaurant." Then he laughed about it saying that he didn't say to kill them. According to him anyone that keeps pets are terrible people and he spoke at length about this. This is what we did instead of learning yoga. He had Satsang chanting that we are somehow magically supposed to have memorized the first day of class. He spent hours talking about how great he is. We learned all about his childhood and teenage years and secular life (multiple marriages) before he gave it all up to become a yogi. We were constantly reminded of what bad people we are because we aren't willing to turn our backs on society. This was during our so called learning time. When I complained I was told that this is how he connects with people. My daughter became ill the first day we were there and wasn't able to attend these ridiculous sermons of his. I was told that she could come back another time and retake the course (and pay again of course) but that I should stay and finish the class. The meals provided are about as cheap and unsatisfying and poorly balanced as you could get. All in all the days are 16 hrs with a 2 hr break for studying and out of the 16 hrs we received about 3-4 hours of yoga training. I could only stand it 3 days and had to leave. And then I was harangued by one of his devotees about what a horrible person and mother I am. Even their marketing material is incorrect. A shuttle from the airport is at least double what they tell you it is. Do not go to this school if you want to learn yoga. The main teacher was not in attendance having to leave the country due to visa issues (we were told) and Yogi Hari couldn't even remember the yoga sequences from his own program. He was so confused and rambled on making no sense at all. This place is a complete scam. read more

If you are looking for an authentic yoga teacher training taught by truly selfless and experienced yogis and spiritual growth beyond your expectations, this is the place for you. If you are unwilling to open your mind outside a superficial and limited point of view and looking for a resort-like experience, you may find this experience challenging but I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone. The experience I had at Yogi Hari's Ashram was exactly what I was looking for and so much more in a yoga teacher training. Shri Yogi Hari's wisdom and ability to speak so directly to the challenges of life and spirituality were profound. Rama's dedicated and thoughtful instruction of Sampoorna Yoga allowed me to start teaching the entire 90 minute class confidently by the end of the first week. There were plenty of opportunities to teach each other and build personal practice during the course. The depth of Sampoorna Yoga condensed in the 15 day training has left me with inspiration and desire to grow deeper in this practice every day of my life. The music produced by Shri Yogi Hari and his disciples, especially Rasa, spoke to my soul on such a deep level and served as spiritual medicine. The kindness, love, and joy generated in this place is truly divine. Also, the food was absolutely delicious, healthy, and thoughtfully made with fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. Accommodations were clean, fully equipped, tasteful, ample, and very comfortable. The outdoor deck built around a beautiful bodhi tree overlooking the pond, gardens, and orchard provided a natural and tranquil setting ideal for practicing yoga and meditation. There was also the option to practice in the large indoor studio or under a covered area outside which was nice to use during the rain. This training brought together so many positive, conscious, and inspiring people of diverse backgrounds and walks of life. It was so easy to make friends, enjoy interesting conversation, and laugh together. It was truly the greatest blessing and gift to be here and I have tremendous gratitude for those who made it possible. Om Shantih. read more

Yogi Hari's Ashram is yoga; a full circle that encompasses proper health through fresh and healthy eating, positive living through positive thinking, celestial vibes from music, singing, and meditation, and brilliant breathing techniques and yoga postures. Imagine driving up to a beautiful tropical farm that seems removed from the hustle and bustle of South Florida. As you step out of your car you hear children's laughter, and notice everyone is calm and smiling. I came to Yogi Hari's ashram for yoga teacher training seven years ago. He is the real deal. Of the Sivananda lineage, he is also a master of Nada yoga, the yoga of sound. Yogi Hari plays the harmonium and leads chanting in Sanskrit, sometimes with his charming wife Tara, every day to start each long and full day. Every day included chanting and meditation, several hours of Hatha yoga, karma yoga, Vedic philosophy, vegetarian meals, a bit of anatomy, individual study and satsang. read more

I just got done with a two week yoga teacher training. It is difficult to leave and return to the world. The ashram is simple and run mostly by volunteers that work from 5am to 10pm and beyond to maintain the place as well as cook, study, chant and more. I learned so much about myself and am eternally grateful for the experience. Yogi Hari made many sacrifices and has spent a lifetime gathering and sharing wisdom and creating a sanctuary for self-reflection and liberation. It is an ashram and not a resort, so go in open-minded, be respectful of the path of the Guru and disciples and I'm certain you will leave a much lighter, happier and more joyful than you have felt since you were a child. Great group of people, lovely property lots to learn. I attended the 200 hour yet, I enjoyed the disciples very much and the practice.

Had an amazing experience, met awesome people, excellent instructors, great food, and the best guru

I cannot articulate the fullness of the experience. This is a very intense, rejuvenating and enlightening course. On a physical level I am close to the flexibility I had in my 20's. My skin is glowing because the diet is plant based and there is a steady supply of ginger and turmeric teas along with room temp water. I've been gardening, weeding and chopping vegetables, washing dishing. On a spiritual level, it is excellent! I have gained a different perspective of the divine, love, patience and past lives, more importantly myself. Oh Yeah... the Yoga! The Hatha yoga is great. It is different...a great different. This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! The entire staff was so amazingly kind and yogi Hari is the most generous loving and funny guy I have ever met. Not only did they work with me getting there but they accommodated me and fed me well without asking anything in return. You can tell these people truly care. And not only that but the structure of how they run things is incredible plus I learned things that I will take with me for the rest of my life throughout my own practice and teachings. Yogi Hari's yoga sequencing is so regenerating while still incorporating strengthening and lengthening postures that always left me feeling so great afterwards. Not only that but they taught me how to teach that sequencing and they taught me well! I owe this place my heart and I can't wait to come back! (: read more

I went to learn what I THOUGHT I wanted to know, but learned a lot about what I didn't even know I NEEDED to learn. The 1st week was difficult because it wasn't what I expected, but by the end of the 2nd week I understood why, and appreciated it. The course doesn't cover kinesiology, anatomy, nutrition, or much technique. But instead focuses on meditation, chanting, philosophy, religion and self-understanding. These disciplines are difficult to grasp without a guru, so the time is spent on this, opposed to the science and techniques of yoga, which you can learn anywhere, and which you probably know more about than you realize already. We did learn how to structure a beginners class, and practice teaching it. The RT300 teaches the advance class. I feel it is imperative to study under a guru that has Yogi Hari's philosophies, even if you don't agree with everything he says. To fully understand yoga and yourself it is important to step outside of your comfort zone and be open to a departure from Western training when it comes to becoming more advanced in your Yoga practice. I think you'd have to travel to India to have an experience more authentic. read more

Yogi Hari's Ashram creates a beautiful environment to dive deeper into both your personal practice as well as gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to be a teacher. This teacher training experience is very holistic; while you are there you will be completely immersed in a yogic lifestyle. This means eating a Sattvic diet and staying away from things like coffee and alcohol, lectures from the guru about personal life and spirituality, practicing "karma yoga" which is meditatively conducting things like cleaning and gardening, etc. Essentially, every moment you are there you are practicing yoga, and by that I mean not just going through asanas in a yoga class, but experiencing what it is like to constantly live a life of self-discipline, awareness, and the essence of doing good and being good. For me, the opportunity to completely immerse myself in this environment at the most beautiful ashram in America was more than a dream come true- it was something I never could have even imagined. I have never felt so peaceful and in tune with myself and those around me. Also, I can't believe how prepared I feel to go forward as a teacher after only two weeks! Overall, I would recommend this training program 100%, but if you think you're not the type of person to want to wake up at 5:30am every day, sleep in a bunk bed room with a few others, do hot gardening work, eat a restricted diet staying away from drugs and alcohol, and you're just looking for the physical part of yoga, this probably isn't the school for you. All I can attest to is that every person that completed the program with me ended up loving the self-discipline and feeling of what it is to receive and give back to a community. For me personally, it was more than I could have ever wished for and something that will be with me for the rest of my life. read more

This is a great place to go if you want your certification affordable and in a short time. However, like with all things you get what you pay for. The accommodations offer no luxury. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Oh and the views and opinions of Yogi Hari are racist, sexist, misogynistic, and narcissistic. He constantly says religion does not matter but throws daggers at religions that are not Hinduism. I'd only recommend it for the purpose of certification. If you're looking for enlightenment you may wanna look elsewhere. The owner is far from enlightened. He's an angry little man. The water is slimy, while the grounds grow plenty of food it isn't for the students most of the time. Being here really felt like indentured servitude. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because the other staff were awesome ppl. I got what I went for but man I am grateful I was whole spiritually before I got there read more

Staying in the Yogi Hari's Ashram is an amazing experience on so many levels. In terms of yoga the place is absolutely remarkable - wether you are looking for 200TT certificate or just to improve your own yoga practice this is the true authentic yoga experience. Before I came to Ashram I was already teaching and had my 200hr TT in the yoga studio in NJ and I can tell you that the training you receive here at the Ashram does not compare to any other TT(lets be honest, for most studios in US TT is revenue generating business activity, people get their certificates for just paying the fees and showing up). The devotion and competence of the teachers at the Yogi Hari's Ashram is unparalleled. A lot of attention is placed on student's safety and proper technique. I have been practicing yoga for 20 years as well as teaching - I never experienced anything like that. And you do get to practice a lot here which is wonderful. Also, i need to mention, that in our group there were complete beginners as well as very advanced practitioners and all of them were accommodated with adjustments appropriate for their level. Oh how I wished I went through this training in the beginning of my practice-so many injuries would be avoided! There was also a lot of focus on yoga philosophy and spiritual aspect of the practice, which I feel is very important and allows you to take the practice to all new level. Even if you are not spiritual aspirant I am sure you will find it very enriching and enlightening. There is something there for anyone. You take as much of it as you want. The program is quite intense, with the days beginning at 5:30 Am and ending around 10Pm(or as late a you wish :)) )with very little personal time, yet I never experienced having so much energy and clarity. I believe, that was the combination the diet and the yoga practice and, of course, uplifting atmosphere in that place. It was better than any detox at the spa. Some people complain about the food in their reviews, but the simplicity as exactly the point. Trust me no one was hungry and I thought the food was very good and prepared with a lot of love. BTW by the end of two weeks you can see so much change in people's appearances- lighter and healthier looking. I know I felt amazing. The place is very simple but very clean and cared for. I will be honest -it took me a few days to get used to some things-you do share the room and the bathrooms and expected to contribute to cleaning, cooking and helping at the farm - place is run by volunteers, there is no "stuff". I never lived in the dorm in my life and I am used to certain level of comfort so and that part did scare me a bit. But after a few days you really embrace it and find it very special and lovely. There so many wonderful things about the place, I can go on and on , but I do have to mention the students- I loved my class. Student body was so diverse-people came from all over the world, different ages and backgrounds. Yet , it had so much in common - desire to learn and open mindedness and just general joyfulness. By the end of two weeks they really felt like family. Overall it was an absolutely amazing experience. Yogi Hari, Rasa and Rama - thank you so much! Can't wait to return! read more

I was a resident during the same period of time as Sie B.'s review. Sei B., describes his/her experience to the ashram as uncomfortable and confusing. This is true; being a resident on an ashram with complete strangers is not about serenity, peace, and room service. Be that as it may, my experience was different. I found the ashram to be a place where everyone was pushed to the edge of what you believe to what you are capable of. It is a place where you leave the stuff behind that no longer serves you. I felt Yogi Hari and Rasa designed a rigorous training program to call forth our highest potential of our own enlightenment. A word or two about Karma Yoga; it is an example of a focus on practice in motion. All work at the ashram is in service of a larger goal - to create wise, powerful, and loving teachers of Sampoorna yoga. Before I participated in Yogi Hari's Ashram, I found twenty-first century yoga very superficial. I feel it's moving further and further away from the spiritual and more and more into the athletic. Yogi Hari taught his Sampoorna yoga students the deeper facets of yoga. His training program develops a base of yoga teachers who are seated in philosophy. In addition, the teacher training at the Yogi Hari Ashram is about leadership. Yogi Hari understands the world desperately needs awakened leaders. The Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training is a model of leadership training impacting the spiritual aspect of yoga for the 21st century yoga instructor. Rosemarie Z. Wyckoff, NJ read more

My experience at Yogi Hari's Ashram was strange. I went to the ashram for a personal retreat for a few days in June of 2017. I was in much need of rest from an overstimulated lifestyle and after reading many glowing reviews, I was excited to arrive at what I thought would be a peaceful environment full of wisdom and joy. That's not where I ended up. Upon arrival, the environment felt chaotic and everywhere I turned the people seemed frustrated and frazzled. It wasn't long before I realized I would not have the comfort of air conditioning...but I thought, no problem, I can just cool off in the pool as advertised. Well, I then discovered the pool was green and not swimmable. When I inquired about it, I was told it would be cleaned right away. Of course it was never given any attention during my whole stay. So without a pool to cool off in, and no air conditioning, I chose to walk a couple of miles to the nearest café to get a break from the summer heat. I made this walk every day that I stayed and it turned out to be the most peaceful part of my trip. I am not picky and I am no stranger to "roughing it". I didn't expect luxury but this was June. In Florida. It was hot to the point that I couldn't sleep in my bed at night and for the price I was being charged to stay there, a little ac to sleep by would've been reasonable. Even a fan would do. Physical discomfort aside, I did get to enjoy the morning meditation and chanting with the ashramites which was lovely and probably the only positive I took from this experience. I was there for two days before ever seeing yogi Hari himself. Early on during my stay, as I was going through an asana practice on my own, I began to hear a voice shouting outside the building, adding to the already chaotic atmosphere of the place. I realized it was yogi Hari scolding one of the ashramites for doing something wrong and decided that it was best that I didn't run into him anyway since he seemed in a foul mood. By then I was fully regretting the decision to spend my short, precious time off in this place. The next day, as we sat for morning meditation, I heard the elusive yogi walk into the building. I became excited that we were graced by his presence and would get to enjoy his experienced voice and guidance. Moments later, we were abruptly pulled from our meditation as yogi Hari asked that someone place a pillow where he is supposed to sit on the stage behind the harmonium. Like a scene from a sad comedy, I watched the ashramites scramble in a near panic to get a pillow and several blankets for the yogi, who was standing only feet away from said pillow and blankets himself, while they were scolded by the head ashramite for not considering his comfort. We settled back down awkwardly and enjoyed the morning songs. Then he was gracious enough to ask me to pick a topic of discussion only to make me feel bad for ever opening my mouth. I made the mistake of using a word he was unfamiliar with which seemed to immediately annoy him and in a very condescending tone he asked, "did you hear this word from some westerner?". It was offensive. And I was utterly confused as I thought I'd read the word in question in his own book, but I was so thrown by his unfamiliarity with it that I thought I must've been mistaken, so I said I couldn't remember. He then proceeded to give a short lecture on what he believes happens when we die. I assume this is a comfortable and well practiced lecture so that's where he went with it. I was grateful for his insight but later I checked, and the word I used is written in his own book several times in the first few chapters alone. So does mr. Hari not know what is written in his own book? Strange. There were several other "strange" moments and the whole place seemed quite pretentious to me. I believe in devotion and discipline, but subservience is another thing entirely and that seemed to be the driving force behind this ashram from what I could tell. Yeshua washed the feet of his disciples rather than demanding that they wash his feet. In my opinion, that is the heart of a true guru. While I'm sure yogi Hari has a lot of wisdom to share and his music is lovely, I will not be returning to his ashram. I can't stomach the pretentious show and see no reason why I should invest my hard earned dollars into such a place. Needless to say I didn't feel rested and couldn't leave fast enough. I wish them well, but this model is not for me. read more

I took the 200-Hour Yoga Teaching Certification and stayed at the ashram for two weeks. Had the best time here. The guru is glowing and full of knowledge and wisdom. Rasa is a beautiful person with so many talents and truly served as the heart of the ashram. Wake up at 5:30 AM and start Satsang at 6:00, chanting and singing, meditating and lecture. After this we practice yoga then have a meal. All vegetarian diet. You are encouraged to participate in Karma Yoga everyday, which is selfless service. So I spent this time gardening. Then we have a break to do what you want, shower, swim in the pool, study, socialize, take a nap. Lecture again followed by another yoga class (taught by a student -- this is their/YOUR test). Dinner then Satsang again until 9:30 PM. I made some amazing friends here who are some of the greatest people. I learned that if I really take care of myself and connect with God, meditate and serve then I can actually elevate my soul and grow in a beautiful way. Sometimes I could feel my frequency rising -- it was pretty cool! I will always remember how much fun I had in this experience and cherish the memories. I chose to become a disciple of this ashram, so I plan to connect with this place throughout the years! Thank you for the love and embrace -- I was able to believe in myself and my potential again! Highly recommended, especially for the price~! One piece of advice -- go with an open mind! Expectations can easily lead to disappointment! This was a last minute decision for me, and I would gladly go back one day to completely another 300-Hour Training! Om Shanti read more

This place completely changed the course of my life two years ago... I had no idea what I was signing up for but Yogi Hari and his teachings altered the path I had been on and I have never been happier since building on the foundation he laid 2 years ago. I was searching in all kinds of exotic places such as Bali, Costa Rica and the likes. One day, driving up North from Miami to visit my Dad, I called the Ashram and they invited me for lunch starting shortly, and I decided to make a stop in Miramar to check out the place. A beautiful farm with Lychees, papayas and all kinds of deliciousness and a yoga deck overlooking a pond held some of the fond memories I have... this is not a spa or beauty retreat - this is an ashram, so if you are looking for fancy and high end this is not the place for you. This has a beauty that is much deeper and fills the soul, if you are open to it's magic. I have not experienced the pure happiness that this place gave me since childhood... it provides the perfect safe place and backdrop to go inside, detox from everything, explore your mind and push your mental boundaries. I still practice the tools they gave us including morning rituals that ground me every single day. I can never repay the peace of mind this place has given me, but I try to pay it forward and keep practicing my karma yoga, which always ends up filling my soul way more than any help I could provide. If you are open to the lessons, this place will reveal it's magic to you. Eternally grateful to Yogi Hari, or as I affectionately call him "The Yoginator"... his wisdom is priceless. read more
