The 5 minute policy is terrible. No other place does this. Missed my sisters birthday yoga session along with 2 other potential customers. One of the staff members was rude and ignored us while the other hid in the back for 40 minutes to avoid further helping us. Completely disappointing experience when I was 1-2 minutes over the instructors cut off. Sol Yoga and its customers pay for the instructor. How can they enforce a rule that will potentially lose the company business? My sister's entire group will now be looking to another yoga joint because of this situation. read more

I come to Sol only about twice a week on my ClassPass because I go to other studios, BUT if you're going to come book with Sharon. She is a total beast and will challenge you. Sol is one of the most beautiful studios I have been too. It's heated and they provide the bands, balls but bring your own towel and mat. They have showers with a few supplies, towel, hair ties, spray deodorant which is nice. They also have lockers for your items during the class. Also if you want a smoothie or coffee after class they have that available inside. I highly recommended checking this studio out! read more

I've been going to Sol Yoga Studio for about a year now, and they recently introduced a new instructor named Shannon, who teaches the Hot Pilates class on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I've got to say , she's one of the most incredible instructors I've ever had the pleasure of learning from! Her classes are challenging, motivating, and always leave me feeling amazing. I cannot recommend this studio enough. I book my classes through ClassPass, which is super flexible and such a great deal. The studio itself is absolutely adorable , always clean, with plenty of parking and a really welcoming vibe. I was seeking out some yoga classes while on vacation. I found this place and loved it so much I ended up doing 3 different classes on 3 different days with 3 different instructors. I enjoyed each teacher and their different music choices and styles. The studio is clean, has great amenities, and is welcoming and non judgmental. It's hot, for sure, but I love it. I'm really happy they didn't charge me to use the mats. I would have been super pissed if they had. I'm not a fan of places that charge for mat use but this will remain a 5 star experience unless I'm charged in the future!! read more

I'm not one to post negativity.... It's yoga!! SOL is a beautiful space to practice hot yoga but very quickly you realize there is no sense of community. There are no fundraisers or special classes to support their own neighbourhood and it does not feel like they even support their students. They recently fired one of the best Yoga teachers I have ever practiced with. No conversation to figure out a solution.... Jealousy and mean girl spirit can be found amongst the staff. I cannot recommend taking even one class here because if you have a medical issue no one there is gonna help you. Yoga in it's true form requires it's teachers to practice kindness and patience. This studio lacks even the basic yoga teachings. There are many other studios in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Find one that practice's not just on the mat but one that truly understands the teachings of the masters. read more

Be careful when booking on any other app for this studio. I saw they had a free class option for first timers and did not let me enter the class when I arrived because I did not have a toy for the their affiliated toy drive. I would have brought a toy no problem, but I did not see those terms and conditions when I booked the class. The only option they gave me was to pay full price when I already had my booked class. read more

I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed with my experience this past Memorial weekend at Sol Yoga Ft. Lauderdale. As someone who loves yoga and had an active membership at the Sol Yoga in Miami I figured I would try out the Fort Lauderdale studio, but sadly it was a HUGE let down. The unprofessionalism of this studio and instructor Danielle Petries was mind blowing. To think that I would pay $30 for a drop in class to be publicly humiliated by not only man in his late 50s but also the instructor for simply taking a breather/break and checking my phone. I had a man in his late 50s YELL AT ME from across the room "ARE YOU HERE TO WORK OUT OR BE ON YOUR PHONE" and then shortly after the instructor proceeds to walk over and scream from the front of the room "we have a no phone policy, if you want to use your phone step outside". In the numerous amount of times I have been to Sol Yoga-Miami I have not once been told about this "phone policy" and there are no physical signs nor is it on their small print/booking information. Sol Yoga-Miami even allows you to record yourself while you work out! I have never felt so humiliated and disgusted with a work out studio before. Noted that me and my many friends who work out here will not be returning. Too many yoga studios in South Florida to accept this disrespectful act. What a shame that a studio that is owned and run by solely women would treat someone in such way. read more

My workout haven!! Absolutely love every instructor at this studio. The studio itself is gorgeous and kept up just perfectly. Both the front desk and the instructors always make you feel welcomed and are there to help! The price is very affordable when you go multiple times a week and I love the fact that there is not a pretentious vibe amongst the people who practice there. This new studio is infrared studio and a great addition to East Lauderdale. The studio is large and beautiful, great merchandise and a smoothie bar! They also offer skin treatments and acupuncture but I haven't tried that. The vibe is serene and more upscale than other yoga studios I've been to in the area. The facilities are top notch and beautiful. The classes are great!. Good instructors, challenging as well as easier classes. And the best thing is not crowded. I've been to hot yoga studios where they pack the classes like sardines and that is never a good experience but I haven't encountered this issue at SOL. I love Danielle and Jude Vinyasa classes. And the sculpt classes are a great addition for more fitness based people. Nice vibes here. This has become my go to. read more
