I have worked with Sac Val Plumbing for 14 years, and I am a Property Manager in the Greenhaven/Pocket area. In my 30+ years as a Property Manager, Sac Val Plumbing is by far the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. We recently completed a large project with Tim and his helper, Ethan, and I could not be more impressed. I am honestly shocked when I read some of the negative reviews because that has never been my experience with this company. We had a resident concern where hot water was not reaching her apartment as quickly as others. Tim was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and communicative. He explained exactly what was happening, what the next steps were, and why each step was necessary. Every question I had was answered politely and thoroughly. At the end of each workday, the job site was left spotless--cleaned as if no work had been done at all. The only indication that work was in progress were the safety cones and tape. Everything was washed down, including the surrounding area and even the plants. The job was 100% successful. On the final day, they repaired the sidewalk so well that you would never know it had been disturbed. Their attention to detail and respect for the property truly stood out. In all my years working with Sac Val Plumbing, I have never once heard inappropriate language from any of their staff. Pam, who is now retired, was absolutely wonderful and always took the best care of us. The owners genuinely care about their customers, and if something is not to your satisfaction, they make it right--politely and promptly. I live in an apartment complex and our manager decided to use sac Val. the first time the guys were at my unit the told the management that the leak from the bathroom located upstairs in my unit was due to me and kids getting water on the drywall. this was definitely not the case, they also removed the plastic in the ceiling down stairs that maintenance put up, leaving the area completely exposed. in the same evening the leak was happening again. my apartments called out a different plumber, who also did not find the leak, I work at a plumbing company and I tried to explain what our guys would have checked, and my concerns were left unheard (our company policy is to not communicate any issues or details with tenants, so I understood why they did not) we continued to have a leak so my kids and I would have to leave my place and go to my parents to shower every day. the apartments called out a different plumber, and low and behold he stated the waste and over flow needed to be replaced. they notified management and then they call SacVal out again to do repair. the same tech as last time showed up and stated he physically poured water in the drywall area in my bathroom and that is how he figured out the issue (which let me remind this was NOT the issue) he was told by management to replace waste and over flow even if it was not the problem and check for other possible leaks. the entire time to technician was complaining "this is Bulshit, i don't understand why they are having us replace this shit" he was very upset that he was being forced to replaced something, and making more money on the job. basically he figured out the issue was a gasket in the overflow that was damaged. he replaced it and told me to wait an hour to turn on water. mind you I was glad it was completed sooner than the 6 hours management told me but when I walked back in my apartment. these technicians failed to cover any of my belongings in my living room and when they cut into the ceiling which does contain asbestos, my belongings were damaged. on top of this, if they would have assessed correctly in the beginning my unit would possibly not ended up getting mold and causing my kids and I to become very ill. I'm currently fighting with the apartments because they refuse to test my unit for mold or have a remediation company out to properly clean this out. the original visit occurred in September/ovtober 2024, the return visit was on 4/9/25. read more

Kitchen sink line was draining slow and finally quit draining at all. We called Sac Val Plumbing late in the afternoon and they were able to come out to he following day. Damian was great. Wore a mask and was very conscientious about COVID protocols. Beyond all that he was extremely professional and got our drain unplugged and running smooth in about a half an hour. Terrible customer service! I scheduled a time frame of 10-12pm. I rearranged my work schedule and childcare to be at my house for them. When 1215 came, still no plumber or phone call to let me know what was going on. I called them and they told me that the plumber was running late and would be at my house at 1pm. I told them that I had other obligations at that time and 1pm would not work. They told me that someone would call me to reschedyule another day.... ha! I asked if it could be later, maybe in the evening and I heard in the background "NO, IM NOT PAYING OVERTIME". Wow, I called off work and rescheduled my childcare for them... and due to their fault, I got that rude response. NO THANK YOU. Go with another company that values your time and money. That when they mess up or are at fault, they should make it better. I good company would do that. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

I live in an apartment complex and noticed my water heater was leaking. We reached out to the maintenance on-site. Once he came out and observed it he said it's not worth it he would just have someone come out and replace it. I'm grateful he called Sac Val out. Anthony (the gentleman who replaced it) was very cordial, respectful, and communicative. Funny as it maybe my son is also is named Anthony to which he found it awesome that there was someone else that shared his name besides his dad. He even let my son help him put on the sticker ( he got a kick out of that). I live on the second level of my complex and this guy did everything by himself to carrying up the new water heat (wasn't easy) to carrying down the old one. I have been in property management for 20 years and I don't like to complain but I have to on this one! The worst service ever! Very unprofessional and rude! Called them about a leaking sewer pipe under my home, told them the main line was good. The tech comes and checks the main line I explained again that is good I have a leak on a sewer line under the home. He open the inspection panel and then asked me for a flashlight, then shined the light on the broken coupling, and said there it is. I said I know that. I need that fixed. He said oh well I need a second tech to work on that, I will send you a quote. I never go the quote, but I did get a bill for $95.00 for something I knew about. I called them 3 times to get the quote to have it fixed cause sewer line was still leaking. All I got was them telling me how busy they are and they will get back to me. I paid them the $95.00 and called another plumber who came out and fixed it in 45 mins. read more

I am extremely excited to share my recent experience working with Sac Val Plumbing. I am a commercial property manager for a five story building downtown Sacramento. We have been using the same plumbing company for over 10 years but recently lost them due to them gaining a large account. My maintenance guys have done some minor plumbing work in the building for years. They have been purchasing parts to repair our toilets and sinks from Sac Val Plumbing for years. They have been extremely busy working on major tenant improvements so no time for plumbing repairs. I told one of my guys that I had a situation with some toilets but was having trouble finding a plumber that was dependable and had reasonable rates. He told me to call Sac Val Plumbing so I did. Kim was the first one to answer my call. She was great very pleasant and knowledgable. She had someone here that same days to fix three toilets. The techs were here quickly and ready to work on rebuilding the values. Yesterday, I had a situation in our deli with a faucet. I called and spoke to Dawn. She had someone here right away and they knew exactly what was wrong. The repairs were made without having to purchase any new equipment.
