Our family has been eating at Sabrina's since Robert and Raquel Abreu opened their first location many years ago. This rave review applies to all their locations except the airport as we've never eaten there. It's a great concept beautifully executed: take a diner, improve the food with better ingredients and more variety, serve big portions at very reasonable prices and you've got the Sabrina's idea. In the past 25 years or so, I don't remember ever getting anything here that wasn't good and many items are just delicious. Breakfasts are wonderful with lots of options and the sandwiches and platters are amazing. Plus, there's something for everyone from kids to elders. Be prepared to take some of your order home. Service is quick and friendly. I hope you like tattoos. We held my 60th birthday party at the old Christian St location. That's how much we love this place. The Mel's Chicken sandwich? So many reviews warned about the slow kitchen and less than stellar execution. I should have taken heed. My 45 minutes to dine before flight vanished as I waited 30 minutes for prep. So took my Blackened Chicken Bowl to go to eat awkwardly on plane. ( Not fun when surrounded by people not eating on short 3 hr flight. They must have gotten lunch at other places that mastered the faster prep needed at airports especially.) The seasoning was strange with cinnamon overtones that have no business dominating in blackened spices. And overcooked. I have l9ved Sabrina's other l9cations but fear this is a loss as the same prep complaints are shown for a long time. I enjoyed visiting the Collingswood location especially for breakfast. But since I had some time before a flight, I thought to dine here. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a side salad. While it tasted delicious and I would love to order it again, my service was very slow. (Keeping in mind that I had an hour before boarding, it took almost 40 minutes for food to arrive) It seemed my server took care of her other tables multiple times (not even refilling my only drink of water), while it took forever to get a to-go container, ask for my check, and then the agonizing wait to ring it up; talk about running down the clock. I would say if you are blessed with at least 1.5 hours before a flight, then come, dine and relax here, anything less than that, I fear you may experience the same anxiety time crunch as I did. read more

Sabrina's is a local favorite for me so I was thrilled when they opened an airport location. As a frequent traveller, I'm not excited by the food options in PHL, so Sabrina's has been a breath of fresh air. Now don't get me wrong, this is not a full Sabrina's experience with ample specials, themes, bustling brunch culture, and delectable options, but it is 4/5 stars for PHL food in my book! I consider it to be good value for a sit down meal at the airport, it's centrally located enough to be easy to access if you have a long wait even if you're a terminal away, and it's pleasantly bright and tucked back from the hall. I've had some great airport meals here and some ok, but the good outweighs the bad. Recently I've been ordering their vegetarian huevos rancheros which is really nicely spiced, well portioned, and comes with chili served over home fries. You won't leave hungry! read more

Came for the veggie Philly cheesesteak, made with seitan. It was delicious! Kind of messy, but only because it was packed with lots of good stuff. The side salad was simple but nice and fresh, which was just what I wanted. For just the cheesesteak, the bill was $19.8 before tip with the 3% airport wages surcharge, which is a little expensive, but it was a hefty sandwich, and for me it was worth it for a really satisfying vegan meal. Stopped by Sabrina's for an early dinner while waiting for my flight in C terminal. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my sister ordered the jerk chicken bowl. I rated the shrimp & grits a 4.5/5 and my sister rated her jerk chicken bowl a 3/5. She states she notices a slightly spicy/sweet/cinnamon taste to the chicken that didn't seem too authentic. The ambiance is nice, large enough dining area + bar with very friendly service. There was a hostess, about 2 servers, and one bar staff on this particular Sunday evening. Would be safe to budget atleast 35+ mins prior to boarding your flight. I would definitely stop by here again. It is probably one of my favorite meals at an airport to date. read more

I love sitting at the bar to eat at Sabrina's. Every time I'm here the food and drinks are excellent. Love the avocado toast. Today I asked for the Cali omelette which isn't on the menu anymore but is amazing and they made it. It has pico de gallo in it, lime crema and avocado on top. Ate every bite. During our most recent visit we sat at the bar. The last time we sat at a table. When we say at a table the service was crazy slow and we eventually had to catch our flight. Sitting at the bar was slightly better. We ordered the vegan seitan cheesesteak, which is always soooo good. This time it was missing all of the long hots. This is the absolute worst airport in the country. Between the water being disgusting and tested high for every type of chemical to the dirtiest of restrooms and sitting areas. That aside - this place use the Philly water to make coffee and then serves ya fake half and half creamer. Toxic as F! Service peeps are awesome. read more

Was so excited to see Sabrina's at the airport- finally some good food expected at the airport (?) Don't hold your hold up... The brand name is significant deteriorated by coming to the airport :-( The menu selections are heavily cut, breakfast/brunch options are only available by 11am. Understood that the price is usually higher at the airport, but still when I see a plain sandwich for ~$20 (takeout) I'm still shocked. It replaced the Asian fusion place (Sky Asia or something) which had good menu selection, thought it was an upgrade (being "Sabrina's Cafe"), but now it's just another overpriced sandwich shop that takes 20+ mins and still gets your order wrong! read more

The only reason this place gets 4 stars is thanks to the bartender. The receipt says Mike R. He works his butt off. Everybody else looks busy but don't really know what they're doing. The kitchen staff has to be busy too because food comes out fast so they add a positive to the review. The other staff meh. There were two employees behind the bar in some little room in the back having a serious argument about one dude disrespecting the other guy. What I think is the manager came and broke it up. 4.7 Stars! my family and I had a early flight and we wanted breakfast. We saw the menu and everything sounded super delicious. The breakfast burrito caught my eye. When it came out it looked super small but it got me really full. The portion was perfect! Their hot chocolate was not so sweet, if you have a sweet tooth it may not be to your liking but I loved it. Pricewise it was decent, especially for the quality of the food. The only downside is that it did take quite a while for the food to come out. Boy, this place is a real winner. I was pleasantly seated and it all went downhill from there. The server took my drink order. "May I have a Coke please?" He arrives with a Pepsi. Did he not hear me? And when I questioned him instead of saying a word or offering an alternative, he reaches in and pulls the bottle and glass of ice off the table and disappears. You know, customer service is not that hard and you being rude is a choice. What he SHOULD HAVE DONE was mention that they didn't offer Coke products and let me know from the beginning instead of choosing to be a dick. And as I sat there and sat there I began to wonder if he was coming back to take my order at all, since I saw him take 4 other tables' orders around me. He finally comes back and I ordered 2 eggs over medium with wheat toast and breakfast potatoes. When it arrives some other girl is speaking to me with a plate of food held above me so I couldn't see and was unintelligible. I finally just said I had 2 eggs over medium and she sets the plate down and offered to bring more oj. When she comes back, I ask if they don't have regular wheat toast and am informed that multigrain is all they have. So again, why didn't my original server tell me they didn't have wheat bread? See where I'm going here? Customer Service isn't that hard. You just have to take care of your customer and offer alternatives to find a solution in a friendly manner. The second orange juice comes in a cup of ice. Whotf drinks orange juice with ice, and again, why didn't they ask if I wanted ice? The first oj didn't come with ice, so i didn't expect the 2nd would and again why not ask me??? The only thing right with Sabrina's cafe was the eggs over medium. Won't be coming back here. Our server did not greet us and we had to ask where they were, we did not get silverware, after 50 minutes of waiting for our food, we asked to get it to go. I don't think I've ever been compelled to write a rave review of an airport restaurant -- until now. We needed to escape the tiny waiting areas in Terminal C at the Philadelphia Airport. We found Sabrina's nearby and had a wonderful breakfast. The pancakes were the fluffiest I've had in years. The stack of pancakes was huge and delicious. The $12.41 price tag was extremely reasonable. I was too busy stuffing my face to take a picture. My wife's egg sandwich was also exceptional and fairly priced. Our server, Vivian, was terrific. The two hostesses on June 11 were also personable and helpful. We were escorted to a nice table for two that gave us plenty of room for our luggage. When you can't find a seat in the waiting area for your overcrowded flight, which is almost always the case, we recommend Sabrina's. read more

While waiting for my flight in the early morning, we decided to eat here after browsing the menu. We were seated quickly, and our server was quite attentive. I ordered the egg sandwich with pepperjack cheese and a brioche bun, totaling ~$12. You can add protein, like Turkey bacon, for an extra cost. There are options of American, Swiss, and provolone cheese, as well. The sandwich came with seasoned potatoes on the side covered in caramelized onions. Both the sandwich and potatoes were delicious, I loved the addition of onion on top! The bun was soft, lightly buttered and toasted, and the egg was fluffy, folded with salt and pepper. If by any chance I come back to this airport, I would definitely dine in again or order from their takeout counter and try other options! However, if time allowed it, I would dine in again because the interior design was fun and cozy. read more
