Always a go to Thai food, for me over 15 years. Service always on par. The place is quiet. A must stop in...Cheers!

Red Curry

Per other reviews a nice authentic local spot. Easy to get to and agreed hard to decide for Thai when you search the area as there are many options! My friend ordered a basil fried rice with chicken and it was delicious! Red curry and shrimp always good. Lychee martini was nice. Would love to come back and try more. Portions seemed great too! I was full :) loooved my Thai ice tea

Came here with some coworkers for after work lunch and drinks. The place itself is esthetically not that pleasing or clean; the bathrooms were a little scary since you have to walk down a steep stairway to reach them. Our waiter was super lovely and super attentive; since there weren't that many people in the restaurant, we were served our drinks very quickly as well as the food. I ordered their lychee martini which was absolutely delicious (bummer they didn't have happy hour drink specials). However, they do have plenty of lunch specials. As an appetizer, we ordered scallion pancakes which were super tasty. As my entree, I ordered their crispy pork with Chinese broccoli; it came with steamed white rice. This dish was delicious, the pork was super crispy with a perfect crunch and reminded me a lot to Colombian chicharrón. The crispy pork paired perfectly with the Chinese broccoli which was seasoned with a nice brown sauce. The white rice made the whole dish well rounded. I will definitely be returning to try their other delicious dishes.

Food is very tasty and authentic. Staffs friendly and good service. Price is very reasonable if compared to thai restaurants around that area. This restaurant is one of my favorite food in Elmhurst.

Tom Yum Soup (Medium)

3.5 stars Ordered the Tom yum soup this time, the soup did not taste like proper one. It's too sweet and not sour at all. Just not the right Tom yum soup you would expect. I also ordered the appetite BBQ beef. The portion is amazing, lots of beef inside. But the spicy sauce is odd. A bit of Thai style with a touch of Chinese. The flavor is a bit puzzled.

Fried calamari!

The restaurant is a cozy spot with art and minimalist decor. It is a special spot for me. While I chose the most rainy day of the week to go, my husband and I practically had the place to ourselves. I enjoyed my meal immensely especially since it was our date night. I love the flavor of the food here. My favorite meals are the noodle soups, the calamari, and the Thai iced tea. I enjoyed the fresh portions of chicken and the Shanghai bok choy greens inside my soup. I felt like it was a home cooked meal at my parents'. This place has a sentimental feel for me. It was my first meal in Queens after I moved to the hood. The service is really good, and that's why I come often to this restaurant. I noticed they also have a variety of alcoholic beverages, so it's great for happy hour. And last but not least, our waitress is super friendly and funny! I came here on the rainiest day of the week, and I had the best time.

This was a little hole in the wall, but totally delicious. The waitress was entertaining and very attentive. The food was spicy and if you want it spicer... they got you!!! Would totally go back. Great prices. Would love to go for lunch special sometime soon too!

This place is low key THE BEST and most authentic thai resto in the entirety of nyc period. i don't understand why it has not gone viral yet. anyway, i went with 2 other friends and ordered literally everything. most importantly, the price is affordable as well. we ordered 6-7 dishes with some drinks and they were only $100!

My friend and I came across this place while searching for food near us. We decided to give this place a try and were so happy we did! The lunch special is to die for. I cant remember what I bought but it had so much flavor! You receive two appetizers and then your lunch special. We were also given complimentary desserts! I only took one star off because the drinks were not good. It tasted like juice and no alcohol. My mojito tasted very bitter. But the service and food is excellent! Will definitely come back again!

Nice place with decent prices for NYC . The food is not as spicy as you would expect but nice modern touches . Great drink menu and friendly staff

"fresh spring rolls" are summer rolls with tofu
Lucy M.

Sabay, we are breaking up. For many months now my orders have not been anywhere near the quality they were in the past. The "fresh spring rolls" are more like summer rolls: rice paper, carrots, lettuce, and fried tofu instead of an animal protein. This seems more Vietnamese and it wasn't executed well. Chicken satay has been dry. Shrimp salad and spring rolls are both boring, bland. The pad kee mao hasn't been the same for awhile. Not spicy, the flavors are all off, neither fish sauce nor golden mountain sauce nor oyster sauce seem to come through - I don't know what they're using or if their ratios are just off but it's not coming together.

Crab fried rice
Yutthapong W.

One of the best Thai restaurant in queens, they provide varieties of Thai dishes, we ordered 1. glass noodle salad with pork and seafood, this is a good appetizers, refreshing and a bit spicy for foreigners (can order less spicy) 2. Crab fried rice: this is really good, lots of crab meat 3. Spicy noodle: spicy and sour with varieties of ingredients, fish ball, pork, veggies Will come back for sure

Price-wise was excellent with most dishes around the $10-30 range. Portions were large and meant to be shared. As for the food itself, I honestly expected better. If it was ranking in the same leagues as Fish Cheeks, Pranakhon, and Bangkok Supper Club on Beli, I thought the taste would be phenomenal but it truly just tasted like any decent thai spot I could find in SoCal. The only difference is that in SoCal there would be little to no wait. I must clarify that my qualms is not with the restaurant but with NYC having an issue of overinflating certain places and establishing high expectations of otherwise normal restaurants just doing its thing. The pad see ew was my favorite, and I liked how wide and long the noodles were. Otherwise, their Michelin Yum Duk Pla Fu was just another mango salad to me, and I had wished that the catfish tasted more like fish than breadcrumbing. The green curry was decent, nothing special. Good price for what you get though. If the wait wasn't unnecessarily long, I would consider this a nice spot for cheap, yummy Thai.

They definitely didn't tell me that lunch specials were available before I ordered my soup. Other than that, everyone is pleasant. Space: they have two sides, so plenty of space, but nights and weekends can get pretty packed, so keep that in mind. Food: I ordered Tom Yum soup and a lunch drunken noodle with a Thai iced tea. I only had the soup there and took the entire lunch special to go. Just based off of the soup, I will be going back. It was delicious and PACKED to the MAX! Writing this now, I can still imagine. Drunken Noodles were also really tasty. I like mine spicy and it could have been made spicier, but that's not even a real complaint. Also- the one next to me had this dish which reminded me of pad see ew but in a gravy. Looked delicious!! I will be back for whatever she had. Overall: the entire block is like a little Thai street. There are lots of Thai food options and I finally made it to Ayada. Super happy with my meal and excited to go back with some people and enjoy.

I've also gotten Pad Kee Mao with thai spicy and it was fantastic. Perfectly spicy!! Definitely try this place!!

This spot is a 3-table operation focused entirely on perfecting Thai chicken rice--and they nailed it. The move here: The Chicken: Poached to absolute perfection. Tender, juicy, no fluff. The MVP: The chicken heart. It was so good I had to double down and order a second round. If you know, you know. The Rice: Fragrant ginger rice that actually has flavor, paired with a radish broth that hits the spot. The Sauce Science: They let you mix your own. I went with the soybean paste + ginger-scallion combo. It's addictive. Do not skip the ginger-scallion. Washed it all down with a solid Thai tea to balance the heat. I am always a fan of these hyper specialist places because I figure if you only sell one dish it must be really good. The chicken is tender yet light on flavor, so the included sauces (one soy based and one chili sauce) are a must. However the rice was delicious and fragrant, a complementary pairing to the chicken. They also included some chicken gizzards and liver if you are a fan of those, but for me I could do with or without. Overall a solid place and worth a repeat visit in my book.
