Nice little place with really good food. Not the best Thai Laotian style, but definitely one of the better places in the area.

Was told 30 minute wait for pick up and it took over an hour and 10minutes. My drink order which I have ordered before when I ate in was different. I asked for no milk and there is clearly milk. I've been on the search for some good basil fried rice so I decided to pick up lunch from here one day. The rice was good-came with egg green onion basil and chicken. It was missing bell peppers and I actually had to ask for the basil and was told next time they would charge me for it. I also tried the chicken wing appetizer and oh myyyyyyyyy myyyy myyyyyyyyy! I gave only 3 stars because of service not food. While the food there is excellent, it seems that customer service lacks. They are very nice but too busy to give the customers the service they deserve. Had to wait for a long time for our food tonight while the waitress took phone orders and walk-in to go orders, backing up all the orders from the people there. We ordered sticky sweet rice w/ mango to go only to find out when we got home that it was just plain, not sweet, 'sticky rice' ....regular. when I called at 8:00 ( they close at 8:30), nobody answered the phone. I don't know how I have not been to this place in our two years here! Ordered using Door Dash tonight, the order was perfect and Door Dash did an awesome job even for being new! The fresh spring rolls are amazing and the Tom Ka Kai soup is fantastic! They packaged everything up perfect and it arrived piping hot! We will definitely go again! read more

Was a regular customer! Loved the pho there! The place is nice and cozy. Very welcoming and clean. Often busy, the workers act like they are in a rush and forget your order when they are pack with customers. They need to chill and relax and just do they jobs without freaking out! At time like this most of the time your foods will come out one by one. You will end up getting a cold plates of foods! Which to me seem like they gave me some leftover foods and was trying to make it look like it was freshly make. Their foods aren't all that delicious. Some of nasty, just like the yum seafood! Pho and Kao phiek was mostly what we done there. This will be last time going there. Don't have the time to waste with inexperienced ppl and don't want to waste my money on bad service! read more

Very nice little spot near the movie theatre. The food was amazingly flavorful, the wait staff were attentive and cordial.

Pad Thai is phenomenal! The portion size is huge. Super cute restaurant on the inside and the have canned Coke with free refills.

It was my first time eating there and it was quite pleasant. I came with my family and there were four of us. We ordered chicken wings and egg rolls as an appetizer. The egg rolls were kinda plain, it was mostly cabbage and I think a little bit of chicken. The chicken wings were great. They were juicy and crispy, just really delicious. For entrees we had Pho combination, beef pho, drunken fried rice and kaopiek with quail and chicken. The pho combination was very flavorful but I wish they had more pieces of tendon. The pho beef was also pretty great, it was a pretty decent portion. All in all the pho was really good, I loved the broth and I think it was a little bit better than King Market's. The kaopiek was the best. The broth was just so flavorful and the noodles were amazing. I didn't really enjoy the drunken fried rice. We had gotten it with chicken. I think it was missing the key components of drunken fried rice. Most places that I have been they include a little more veggies(bamboo, mushrooms, bell peppers,etc) and a richer sauce when they make it. It just tasted like regular fried rice. The service was kinda bad. It's not the worst, but could use some minor improvements. For example they don't leave napkins on the table or a lot of condiments but they bring it to you when you ask or when they know it you need it, like with pho. Other than that I enjoyed my visit there and I'd definitely go back for the pho and kaopiek because I HIGHLY recommend it. read more

Unfortunately we did not have a good first experience at Sabaidee Cafe due to the inept service. Food orders are placed at the counter in a overly-complicated system of writing each item on an order pad, repeating back what was written, transferring everything into an ipad, then repeating the order back to us again. However, even with all the repetition our order was botched. For instance, we ordered 3 tapioca drinks, received 3 but apparently paid for only 2 so that had to be taken care of in a separate transaction, also one pad thai dish was completely left off the order. Payment is required at the time of ordering and I don't recommend using the automatic tip option in the ipad. Wait to see how the service goes for you and use their tip jar. I definitely over-tipped for the level of service that we received. Oddly, during the 75 minutes it took to get our 6 meals we watched 8 take out orders completed and out the door before our meals started trickling out to our table. And it was a trickle... thankfully my young grandson's rice bowl came out first to distract him, after that each dish came out in 10-15 minute intervals. When we realized that one of the pad thai dishes was not coming out we asked about it and they unapologetically admitted that it had been overlooked. We were ready to leave without it but they offered to comp it so we just asked to put it straight into a to-go box so that we could leave. Overall the food was tasty but we couldn't fully enjoy it as a family because we didn't get our dishes at the same time. So if you're considering Sabaidee, I'd suggest calling ahead for take-out, it will be quicker and you'll avoid the inept dine-in service. read more

My friends and I are big regulars here. We LOVE this place. We almost always order the Khao Piek and it's one of the best we've ever had. We also love the fact that the staff takes notice and remembers the little things. For example, they always know that I love my food extra spicy and no matter what I order, they always bring out an extra dish of chili peppers for me without me asking. Great place to get Thai food and Pho. I've tried all the curries, soups, along with a couple of entrees. Fresh spring rolls are a tasty steal. Everything is either good or excellent in my opinion. My girlfriend and I just got Drunken Noodles and we were very underwhelmed. She ordered medium spice and I had spicy. Neither of them had any inkling of spiciness. My girlfriend doesn't really like spicy food and even she complained it was weak. The fried spring rolls were not that great as the sauce was weird. We had high hopes for this place because the Cason Lane/ Blackman area really needs some great Thai food. Unfortunately we will drive past this place to go to Thai Pattaya to get Drunken Noodles as they have the best in town and they actually put some kick in their spices. We may come back to try the curry or pho dishes but not Drunken Noodles. With this said, the staff was very friendly and nice. I know spice is something that is subjective, especially with Thai dishes but I personally have an expectation that if I order something "spicy" in a Thai restaurant that I will break a little sweat on my brow and feel I little burn on my lips and tongue while I am eating it and I don't need to order something labeled Insane or Damn hot...or whatever they called it to taste a little kick. read more

Don't have time to write a full review at this moment, but I do have just enough time to say this is my favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro. Every dish is delicious every time. This is the best Lao food I've had outside of Laos. The other reviewers who ding this place for the quirky service and the minor variations in the food are missing the whole point of a family-run Lao restaurant (that just opened): You keep coming back because you are getting amazing food from your Lao grandmother's kitchen, not because of grandma's tablecloth and the correct "flow of the food." Tried this place several (how is it that I didn't know about this sooner) days ago. Wow!!!! Lovely place and people. Clean pretty. And, again, wow the food. We started with the chicken satay. tender chicken and lovely peanut sauce. Then cucumber salad. Loved it, but as others have mentioned, be careful as to which spice level you order. I applaud them for keeping to true ethnic spice level, I like a kick to food, but....just sayin'. My mother ordered pineapple fried rice, which was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered General's chicken. Probably the highest chicken to batter ratio I have seen locally, and delicious sauce. Tender chicken. He selected fried rice, lovely, just the right amount of little veggies to rice. All good. My Crying Tiger was delectable. Again, you might want to order down a notch for your first visit, since their cuisine isn't American-modofied. The service was spot-on. The server, with the help of one lady from the kitchen (owner?) handled a full house lunch rush beautifully. Our food was served quickly and hot. The teas were delicious.
