I have been looking for some really good lamb in the area and this place has definitely satisfied my craving. Highly recommend the spot for fall off the bone lamb and excellent food. The service is also wonderful and the restaurant has a great ambience.

This simple, home-style Yemeni restaurant offers a no-frills experience with quick service, though the staff lacks warmth. As a vegetarian, I found the menu limited to just three options: sambusa, lentil soup, and saltah. I tried the saltah, a mixed vegetable stew, which was decent but not extraordinary, and it came with a huge pita bread . My husband enjoyed the chicken kabsah--flavorful but missing the spicy kick that would elevate it. The maraq soup was good. Overall, it's not ideal for vegetarians, but if you're dining with meat-eaters, you'll have something to enjoy.

Saba is a small restaurant and had a steady stream of customers for the duration of our meal. The wait staff was a little slow in providing bread refills but every dish was prepared care and seasoned well. There are not many vegetable forward dishes but if you're there for meat and rice, you'll be very pleased.

Love Yemeni food! So underrated! So flavorful and delicious! The bubbling fahsah was amazing with the delicious broth and tender meat. The bread perfect for sopping it all up! The haneeth was delicious the meat falls off the bone! A must try! The hummus was really good! I really liked it with the olives. The service was quick and staff were super nice! We were attended to really quickly, but we did go at a relatively quiet time during the day. The restaurant has a small hole in the wall vibes, but the food is big on taste and flavor!

Incredible Yemeni cuisine and thoughtful service! I'm so happy we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant for lunch. We actually ordered both the meat and veggie sambousa, but they disappeared before I could get a full shot of the dish. It was that delicious! The Lamb Mandi was so tender and the seasoning and salt were very well-balanced. To top lunch off with dessert, we had the Fatah dates with honey and it was perfect~ Not too sweet, and just right. Perfectly paired with a steaming cup of gingery Qishr coffee. There's plenty of seating inside, though if you have a large party, you'll want to call ahead. The staff made us feel very welcome and were kind to suggest the menu items we were unfamiliar with. Absolutely looking forward to coming back next time I visit the area!

A lot of tasty food at the restaurant, though the restaurant felt crowded at times. Definitely want to come again.

This was an amazing place to try out! The restaurant is cozy with very friendly service. I came here with three other people and we came hungry! We order a beef, lamb, and chicken dish along with hummus. Everything was so flavorful, filling, and well cooked. We asked the server for their recommendations and they did not steer us wrong. We also had the baklava and fatah, which were also both amazing and recommended.

We ordered to-go here and they were super quick and packed up everything very neatly! We tried the lamb kabsah, which was around $27, so a bit on a pricier side, however, the quantity is enough for 4 people or 2 large meals for 2 people. So, it is definitely worth it! Adel was super helpful in giving us recommendations and explanations of what each dish was! We are so happy with his recommendation. The lamb kabsah was very flavorful and the meat was cooked perfectly! They even gave us some green sauce on the side because we asked for some more spice. Great option for a late night meal! We will definitely be back!

First time diners. Great place. We will go back. We loved the lamb. The chicken just fell off the bone. Rice was delicious. The hummus was heavier on the tahini and was really great. Service was fast and friendly. Really enjoyed our dinner out. TIP: So one main entree feeds 2 people very well. The patrons coming in here eat family style. So- if you are a party of 4, order one of the lamb entrees, and then maybe a chicken. Add a couple of appetizers. The desserts are large and meant to be split between 4 people. Eat family style. Hope that helps you order better. We didn't know that, and brought home a lot of leftovers!

Excellent place for breakfast! Highly recommend the lamb dishes. Service was very nice, and employees wore masks.

Even if there is nobody waiting to use one of the 10 tables there. This is one of those places people will come to once and never again. Believe the real reviews on here and not the obvious, "friends and family" entered "reviews". Besides the unhealthy egg substitute they use for the scrambled eggs, the buffet food was basic appetizer type food that was straight out of the can (hummus, fool, etc). No meat items or freshly prepared items are part of that overpriced "buffet". The owner just hovers among the tiny seating area and bothers all the tables trying to get them to leave. After we each grabbed 1 plate, whenever the owner saw us not eating (we were talking to each other), he would come over to ask us if we were finished. Not even 30 minutes after we got in, he notices us talking again and comes back to our table and yelled at us to leave, because "we want to use the table for other people". We were all just sitting there shocked. When my friend finally mentioned we weren't finished, the owner brought an employee over who was holding a tub for dirty dishes and then the owner started grabbing our plates and cups from right in front of us and slammed them into the tub that the employee was holding. He also had the nerve to yell "this is why I don't like you people here!". Racist much? Not sure why he was harrassing all of the tables and finally took it out on us. He definitely made a huge seen, to the point where the couple who came in before us and was seated at the table next to us, recorded his behavior on one of their phones and sent it to my friend who was at our table. Be forewarned, worst place in the DMV area.

I got there after 6pm. It was packed. It was my first there and had no idea what I was getting into. The menus doesnt explain much nor were prices mentioned. Its like $39.99 They also tacked on a service fee. Which is deceiving since its not mentioned upfront in the menu. You find out when you get your bill. The service was 5 stars. The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. It did get really busy as we were there and our food took a bit. I think a few people also ordered online for pickup so the order stuff was getting made was unclear. I ordered a smashburger and it was great. Nothing too crazy but very delicious. My brother got the chopped cheese and enjoyed it. The best part was something that we ordered to share, the Chapli Chopped Cheese Loaded fries. It wasn't on their menu boards yet but I had seen it on their instagram and had to try it. It was delicious! I would definitely come back and get those again. It had a great flavor, the sauce was delicious, and the fries were still relatively crispy despite the amount of sauce and toppings. Overall, a great spot that I would recommend to others and will definitely coming back soon!

Also, the gentlemen at the register are always so nice and welcoming! The Burgers (tried all 3): 10/10. The Patriot Burger with double meat tastes like a love child between a hot and fresh In-N-Out burger and a Big Mac. I just finished one and I'm still salivating. The Chopped Cheese: 7/10. They messed up a previous order of this by adding jalapeños to both sandwiches instead of just one and it was too spicy for me. The fries: 8/10. They get cold quickly, but they taste similar to fries from Burger King. They're good and they came with organic ketchup, which I appreciated.
