One choice I got the zardak chalow, which was a stew of prunes, chickpeas, tomatoes, and carrots. It was sweet, savory and a little tart. Very unique and delicious. Another choice was the banjan chalow, which was eggplant, onions and garlic in a savory brown sauce topped with yogurt. Eggplant was tender and soft. Yogurt was creamy and complemented the dish.
