[[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in a shopping plaza, the interior is beautifully designed![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is amazing & friendly. Food - there's varieties of options here for everyone! I ordered the Kubideh Kabob and Lamb Biryani. The Biryani was seasons really well & the lamb was very tender. For the Kubideh Kabob I ordered their special rice with the dish & enjoyed the it! I do wish the kubideh was seasoned a little bit more was I thought it didn't have much flavor but it was paired with the tzatziki sauce it helped. Along with the meal, we also got bread which was crispy & standard bread but greatly appreciated :) we also go to try a special tasting if the pomegranate wine and oh wow that was delicious! I'm usually not a wine person but I really enjoyed it!!! Parking is outside in a shared lot. I saw they offer afternoon tea which I would love to come back & try one day! Dinner is booked quick so I recommend a reservation if all possible.

Ahsh soup and Vegetarian Delight Entree

My friend and I decided to stop by this afternoon for an impromptu lunch when we finished a job nearby. I had it saved on Yelp to try and so we did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The first thing we noticed were all the healthy plants and can only imagine how gorgeous it will be once the summer annuals are in bloom. Even the artificial plants were clean and shiny and not a spot of dust.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The fountain in the center of the restaurant was beautiful as were all the tiles and pillows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The owner came out to greet us and she was so welcoming. I had the Ahsh soup. It was amazing. So much healthy flavor and goodness. Then I had the Vegetarian Delight entree and my friend had the Greek salad top with gyro. She was moaning the entire meal I felt like I was in the diner scene from When Harry Met Sally. She thought it was absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely be back. This is 00% my kind of food

My family had a lovely afternoon Tea and Biscuits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The table setting was beautiful and the food was plentiful and delicious![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The restaurant manager took great care to accommodate food allergies and ensure our comfort. Highly recommend!

Cute little spot. Tried it for the first time and the service was friendly. Enjoyed the appetizers the most. Everything else was good/okay. Interior was unique compared to other spots, we enjoyed the half circle booths with pillows. Perfect for some tea time. :) (Which we didn't know there was tea here) Had the following: - 2 Person Saffron Tea Pot (There was 2 rock candy with it which was cute, but we only used one since we don't like our tea too sweet, took the other one home~ FYA they do charge for the rock candy, it doesn't come with the tea, we didn't know lol) - Veggie Samosa and Falafel Appetizer (Yum! Would recommend) - Veggie Delight - Gyro Sandwich and Fries (This was a huge portion)

Surprisingly filling despite the small-looking kebab portions. Meat and rice offerings and well seasoned and go well with their tea assortments. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside water fountain and decorations are beautiful, make for a great seating environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is usually good.

    Tea party spread

Highly recommend this restaurant especially for the tea party! The tea was lovely and the spread was fresh, delicious, and filling and the service was impressive! It'd be great for a business meeting, girls outing, friendly connections or just because!

Food was very good. Kofta was as good as it gets with the flavors. Lentil soup was fine but no bread or crackers were served with it. Saffron ice cream was very frozen (like a block) with ok flavor. I recommend letting it soften and be a bit more creamy and sweeter. I recommend bread and butter with the soup. I recommend iced hibiscus tea in lieu of hot. Please do not change anything about kofta. I would go again just for kofta. My friend liked his lamb meal.

Truly my favorite happy place over the years starting back from 2018. I love listening to the fountain as we eat leaning against jewel toned pillows...the colored tiles throwing soft light everywhere....sipping hibiscus or cinnmon tea from pretty china cup complete with little sugar cubes in a glass dish. This is what self care and indulgence feels like. Ida the current owner is what really makes this place shine. She is so very sweet and kind and puts so much love and passion into the cooking and the place that I feel like I come here to have a home cooked meal. The rest of the staff there are wonderful and love her and the place so the energy there is amazing as well. The food and spices are very fresh from market to table and I've never experienced getting sick after eating there which is rare anywhere since my body reacts to both chemicals and processing in foods. The food there has a wonderful kind of balance and symmetry on my palate...never too heavy and very light with just the right amount of spices scaled to your preference if you make the request and always cooked very well so that it is moist and flavorful. We've had a wide variety of dishes and have enjoyed every single one of them. There isn't enough space to write down what we love about all the food and tea...other than to say it's always an amazing culinary experience...allowing us a glimpse into the variety of cultures and dishes from her homeland and into Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine.

The pumpkin dumplings and pan fried veggie filled dumplings were great as well. I thought my salmon wrap and the chickpea side was ok. Interesting flavors for sure. As for the service, there was always someone filling up our waters and our waiter was very nice checking in every now and then. The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.

Got a combo of chicken kabob and shami kabob along with a side of their borani banjan/eggplant dish. The eggplant was honestly one of my favorite things- it's a must get in my opinion. Homey dish with incredible flavors! Their naan is fresh and pairs well with it. The chicken was good, but I've had better honestly. The shami was a little disappointing as I expected more flavor and it was slightly dry, but good. Their rice was so tasty and I loved the sweetness coming from the carrots an raisins. Of course, the sheeryakh was great- quite a big portion for one person, but I loved the texture. It tastes very similar to the Indian/South Asian/Pakistani ice cream, "Kulfi." CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Service needs improvement. The whole time I was there I had to keep looking for waiters to make eye contact with to ask for menu, water, paying, etc. It took about 10 min or more for me to have to call a busy waiter over just to look at the menu- no one came over on their own. Things just took time for a Saturday night- plus they were hosting an event on top of this. Needless to say, I've never had service like this, but the vibe and food made me be not as harsh. Despite the service, this place is a must try for authentic Afghan cuisine. Can't wait to try more of their menu (and the borani banjan again) in the future!

We were also a party of five but were only given one menu to share so not very convenient. I ordered the Chicken & Shami Kabob and it came with a choice of white or brown rice, one side, and naan. The meal looked nothing like the photo on the restaurant's website. The portion was overwhelmingly rice with very little meat. None of the garnishes shown in the picture were included on the rice. For $24 I expected a much better presentation and a more balanced portion. Oh and the meat was kind of dry. Parts of our order were missing, some dishes that came out were incorrect. The experience felt disorganized and the food didn't justify the price.

I'm a local customer and live just a minute away, so I've visited more than once. I came in for lunch today with my wife and our 1.5-year-old son. When I placed my order, I asked for extra white sauce, and I asked again when the food came out. Both times, the request was ignored. I also mentioned that we hadn't received our drinks, but instead of addressing it, the server again yelled for us to get the drinks ourselves from the cooler. The food itself was okay, but the bread was very poor--hard and barely edible. I even called the restaurant later in the evening to share my concerns, but was told the server was off at that time.
