This simple, home-style Yemeni restaurant offers a no-frills experience with quick service, though the staff lacks warmth. As a vegetarian, I found the menu limited to just three options: sambusa, lentil soup, and saltah. I tried the saltah, a mixed vegetable stew, which was decent but not extraordinary, and it came with a huge pita bread . My husband enjoyed the chicken kabsah--flavorful but missing the spicy kick that would elevate it. The maraq soup was good. Overall, it's not ideal for vegetarians, but if you're dining with meat-eaters, you'll have something to enjoy.

I have been looking for some really good lamb in the area and this place has definitely satisfied my craving. Highly recommend the spot for fall off the bone lamb and excellent food. The service is also wonderful and the restaurant has a great ambience.

Love Yemeni food! So underrated! So flavorful and delicious! The bubbling fahsah was amazing with the delicious broth and tender meat. The bread perfect for sopping it all up! The haneeth was delicious the meat falls off the bone! A must try! The hummus was really good! I really liked it with the olives. The service was quick and staff were super nice! We were attended to really quickly, but we did go at a relatively quiet time during the day. The restaurant has a small hole in the wall vibes, but the food is big on taste and flavor!

Saba is a small restaurant and had a steady stream of customers for the duration of our meal. The wait staff was a little slow in providing bread refills but every dish was prepared care and seasoned well. There are not many vegetable forward dishes but if you're there for meat and rice, you'll be very pleased.

Incredible Yemeni cuisine and thoughtful service! I'm so happy we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant for lunch. We actually ordered both the meat and veggie sambousa, but they disappeared before I could get a full shot of the dish. It was that delicious! The Lamb Mandi was so tender and the seasoning and salt were very well-balanced. To top lunch off with dessert, we had the Fatah dates with honey and it was perfect~ Not too sweet, and just right. Perfectly paired with a steaming cup of gingery Qishr coffee. There's plenty of seating inside, though if you have a large party, you'll want to call ahead. The staff made us feel very welcome and were kind to suggest the menu items we were unfamiliar with. Absolutely looking forward to coming back next time I visit the area!

A lot of tasty food at the restaurant, though the restaurant felt crowded at times. Definitely want to come again.

This was an amazing place to try out! The restaurant is cozy with very friendly service. I came here with three other people and we came hungry! We order a beef, lamb, and chicken dish along with hummus. Everything was so flavorful, filling, and well cooked. We asked the server for their recommendations and they did not steer us wrong. We also had the baklava and fatah, which were also both amazing and recommended.

We ordered to-go here and they were super quick and packed up everything very neatly! We tried the lamb kabsah, which was around $27, so a bit on a pricier side, however, the quantity is enough for 4 people or 2 large meals for 2 people. So, it is definitely worth it! Adel was super helpful in giving us recommendations and explanations of what each dish was! We are so happy with his recommendation. The lamb kabsah was very flavorful and the meat was cooked perfectly! They even gave us some green sauce on the side because we asked for some more spice. Great option for a late night meal! We will definitely be back!

First time diners. Great place. We will go back. We loved the lamb. The chicken just fell off the bone. Rice was delicious. The hummus was heavier on the tahini and was really great. Service was fast and friendly. Really enjoyed our dinner out. TIP: So one main entree feeds 2 people very well. The patrons coming in here eat family style. So- if you are a party of 4, order one of the lamb entrees, and then maybe a chicken. Add a couple of appetizers. The desserts are large and meant to be split between 4 people. Eat family style. Hope that helps you order better. We didn't know that, and brought home a lot of leftovers!

There were several empty tables but the front desk told us that we had to vacate by 7:30 if we were sitting at a table. I told them that WE had a reservation at 7:30 but that was not enough to convince the girl to give us a table. So we sat at the bar and ordered two main dishes. The Mutton Curry had bones attached to the meat and was very flavorful. Hubby ordered Beef Rendang and enjoyed it as well. He still wished that the coconut cream in the dish was more caramelized. We ordered the guacamole traditional and I can say that it was both fresh and flavorful. There were an adequate amount of chips, but where my issue lies is the price for the portion of the guacamole itself. Being used to paying maybe $15 for a whole quart of guacamole at places like Uncle Julio's and others, I was expecting more guacamole for the price. Unfortunately the website doesn't list the size when ordering, and there's one size. When I got home I saw that we had a 1/2 pint of guacamole for $11, I was in shock and upset. We had barely enough for the two of us. For that amount of guacamole I wouldn't pay more than $5. 4/5 stars for the taste, 1/5 for the price... Next we got the Spinach taquitos which are crisp corn tortillas filled with potato-spinach-cheese with cabbage slaw, crema, cilantro, queso & mango habanero chutney. These were absolutely delicious! It perfectly blended the classic Mexican taquito with the Indian flavors of mango habanero chutney and Indian spiced potato/spinach filling. I wish there had been more crema and veggies on top but that's just a personal preference. Rating: 5/5 for flavor and price at $10 for two Next I got the Dos enchilada combo with one ground beef enchilada and one spinach and cheese enchilada, both come with a crema drizzle. I found the beef to be well seasoned and the spinach and cheese to be as well. They were a bit too oily imo. What I didn't like was the fact that the flavors were too sweet for me to enjoy. I usually like a green tomatillo sauce on my enchiladas and not a traditional enchilada sauce so it would have been nice if they 1, described the type of sauce on the enchiladas in general on their menu (because some places put verde sauce on different types of enchiladas) , and 2, offered to let you choose which sauce to put on them. They came with charro beans and house rice. I didn't like the beans too much but the rice was ok, and had some flavor. Rating: 3/5 for flavor, price was good at $15 for the combo I ordered some side sauces too because I wanted to try the cilantro mint crema and I wanted to get a side of regular crema as well. The cilantro mint crema was delicious! The flavor was refreshing and very tasty! Cilantro Mint crema: 5/5 for flavor, but 1/5 for price at a whopping $3 for just 1.5oz. Regular Crema: 1/5 was just sour cream not crema and it was $1.50 for just 0.5-1 oz. The service was good for the pickup order. TLDR: Mama Tigre's Mexican Indian fusion restaurant blends flavors well and is generally good, however a few dishes miss the mark for me (too sweet/oily with some) and their pricing is ridiculously expensive for their small portions of guacamole and side sauces. The service was decent and friendly at the counter. I'd like to come in and try some more things at a later date but I'll skip the guacamole next time and I hope they adjust prices for that and their side sauces.

My friend selected all of the dishes which are typical go to's and they did not disappoint! Started with the lamb kebab; it was tender and red onion/sliced tomatoes not only added color to the plate but went well with the meat. For our mains, we asked for mild spice. I could eat mountains of uzbek styled rice, it was rich in flavor - much different of how I grew up eating plain white rice. The star ingredient were the carrots; I've never had yellow carrots before and loved the soft texture. The temperature of this dish came out to be room temperature, wish that we could have enjoyed it as soon as it was prepared. Lastly, the noodle dish was my favorite. I will always love noodles and even better eating fresh, hand pulled ones! Perfectly bouncy and a real treat to eat. The meat was also tender and good sauce ratio.
