I know my wife. Or so she has led me to believe. (:D) So when we are looking for a cafe or place to chill and get work done. I have a feeling for what she desires sometimes. Sunlight. Ambiance and oat chai latte. Nothing more, nothing less. So I began my search and I came across this name. It was different from most so I clicked on it. Off the first three photos I said to myself: Self: This is it. Self: It is. Insanity aside, we had no idea that there was a clothing store in the back. Not to mention as soon as we walked in she recognized the brands and went right passed the cafe to peruse. That is how I know I did a good job. Lol. Clean aesthetic, good coffee and chai latte and the vegan muffins & Croissants are amazing! My wife has been here two more times without me. Sooo... job well done to me. :) You should go if you are ever in the neighborhood. Its such an inviting place atmosphere and inspiring to the eye. read more

Favorite coffee shop in Bed Stuy!! This is my go to place. I finish a new loyalty card about every month. The coffee is really good, the place has a great design decor (well, it's a fashion store), the staff are really nice, and there are really nice spots outside to hang out. So sad Lucy left! She was my fave barista. But like I said, all the staff are nice. Also, they accept the Cups app. One of the few places around to do that. Very cool, as it'll save you 10%. Too bad, there used to be tons of places in East Village that took Cups. I was honestly a bit apprehensive the first time going, as it looked way too stylish. It is, but it's still a great place to hang out. And as the owner is super friendly with babies - not just my baby, lol (she's very cool btw), the space is baby and breast feeding friendly. read more

Preface: my visit was from 9am - 11am on a Sunday morning. But regardless of the "early" time, I found this to be the quietest coffee shop I have ever visited. While that may be appealing to some, I found it almost eery. I felt like I was getting glared at every time I shifted in my seat (from the other customers, not the staff). And when I received a phone call, I felt as if I had to step outside just to answer it. With that said, I typically enjoy a more lively atmosphere. But the staff was friendly and took my order quickly. The prices and the coffee are average to me. There is a small boutique shop attached to the coffee shop, but it felt confusing - is it a cafe? A shop? - there wasn't much synergy between the two sides of the business. The atmosphere felt modern and industrial. There was free wi-fi. Few seats available. I wouldn't recommend if you are meeting a friend for coffee, or if you want to sit somewhere for more than 30 minutes. read more

You're best bet is to stop by on the weekend - there's usually something going on in the shop other than just coffee and pastries being served. They have sample treats, 'zines to read, Sunday brunches, community gatherings and much more. read more

ST coffee is my go-to. And I'm not even a coffee drinker. The owner Dan, I swear has never met a stranger and is welcoming to all as if they are each his friends. I am not a coffee person. Only had spectacular cup of tea here few months ago, thus no comments on the coffee. Great tea though. Great ambiance although it can be pretentious to some. People i see here are not people that I normally in the streets in my mundane daily lives in Bedford Stuyvesant but i am cool with that - every neighborhood has hipster havens. They sell slightly over-priced women apparel, and though I am not gonna shop there, it adds to the ambiance of the place so i have no complaints. I wish i am person who can work in public venues such as these, but I am not. So i cannot comment on whether this is a great place to work, but certainly everyone who works on a laptop here seems to be doing well in their lives XD read more

Contrary to some of what I'd read below - I happily found this spot to be a perfect mix of ambiance, design, and quality coffee. Not to mention, the space is clean & welcoming to all. The day I popped in, the coffee counter was abuzz w/ activity & yet there was more than enough space to grab my coffee & settle into some work before moving on in my day. I'm a loyalist to those who show loyalty in return; especially those who care about the community they're a part of - and not just moving customers through their door. Check your bill carefully as was overcharged for just ok coffee, which was essentially a cup of steamed milk minus the coffee. When I asked about the discrepancy was told that prices were higher than those listed without an apology. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I was in Brooklyn last week visiting some friends and family and found this little gem while I was on a morning walk through the neighborhood. I was so pleasantly surprised to find not only a GREAT coffee shop but also to find a coffee shop that wasn't your run-of-the-mill Starbucks or such. I tried their Coconut Milk Parfait which was topped off with Sorrel Jam and Ginger Granola and the a cup of their Cold Brew. Both were so delicious. Kudos to S,T Coffee for representing the small town feel of Bed Stuy while also incorporating the latest health trends. If you want great coffee and also want to get a local vibe, definitely stop in here! read more
