Firstly the equipment they have is top of the line, you are able to have a clear view of your teeth after X-Rays. We began with a digital patient intake form on the MyChart platform, which made it easy to complete. I hate filling out intake forms by hand because it's hard to write small and nearly for an entire set of intake forms. (Maybe my fine motor control isn't so good?) Second was taking X-rays. Xrays usually hurt a lot for me because I have extra bone growth extending all around my lower jaw outward from my teeth laterally toward my tongue. So biting down hard and all the way on the cardboard film holder makes it dig into the tissue that covers these growths in my mouth, and that hurts me a LOT. NONE OF THAT HERE!!! They have a 3-D machine that rotates on a vertical axis around the patient's head, like a baseball catcher's helmet but far away from the face so it's not bothersome. It rotates all around and gets much better images plus avoids the older, painful process.
