New frig installed 4 days later, breaker flipped again. I knew it was the breaker but I won't mess with that type of electrical issues. Sent a request through Yelp and was contacted by Russell Electric. He wasn't able to make it until Wednesday. After our conversation he decided to come out that same night. (I had just lost a lot of food with the old frig and was rather frustrated with it all) It was 9:45pm. It took him 45min to an hour. Fixed the issue in like 15 min and made sure all was well before he left. He knew what he was doing and he explained it as he did. He gave me some information about the breaker and put my mind to rest. Friendly, courteous and just all around great guy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAN! I appreciate the willingness to go the extra mile. He will be who I call if I ever need anything ever again. Thank you again! I slept well knowing this was not an issue anymore.

Zack did an excellent job installing the Tesla wall connector. He showed up on time, went through…read morehis plan, and got it installed neatly and without conduits. Everything was cleaned up and ready for me to set up. He had to cut some drywall to run the cable, but did it low behind my softener so it's not even visible. I highly recommend Grayzer for charger installs. They've been focused on them for a while, and it shows.

I had one good experience with these guys when then installed a tesla charger at my old house and…read moreat terrible experience with them with they installed a tesla charger at my new house. The first time they did it they installed a 240 volt outlet in my garage and I plugged a tesla mobile connector into that, worked well. The next time they did it at the new house, I thought they would do the same thing but apparently they stopped installing the mobile connectors. Now they only install the wall connector which is a large sci-fi looking thing that is permanently affixed to the wall. It's also more expensive than the mobile connector. None of this was made clear to me when we started the project with Grayzer. They came to my house, got about 90% done with the job then saw the equipment I had and said "sorry we don't do those anymore". They explained the situation to me but since I didn't have the equipment they wanted they couldn't finish. They did however insist on being fully paid for the job. Stupidly, I agreed to pay them and they left saying "call us when you have the wall connector". That was a mistake. Never fully pay for the work until the job is fully done! So I bought one and scheduled a time to finish at which point they said they would need to charge another trip fee to come back out. I explained that it wasn't made clear to me that I didn't have the right equipment until the job was almost complete but they didn't care. They were insistent that I give them another trip fee before they would come back. Frankly they were pretty rude about it too. Like really rude. Whoever I was emailing was belligerent and completely unprofessional. It was extremely frustrating. I tried to explain that as the professionals in this situation they should be the ones checking that all the equipment is ready to go before the job starts. At the time I didn't know the difference between a mobile connector and a wall connector. I didn't even know that tesla had multiple options for wall chargers. I had what I used the first time so I figured it would work. It's not that the trip fee was so much money but after having to drag this out over two visits, spend another $150 to upgrade to a wall connector, a trip fee on top of all that was a bit much. In my opinion, a reasonable company would just accept responsibility and waive the second trip fee. Or at least offer to split it. But not these guys. They dug their trench and they weren't coming out. It was childish and stupid and I'm embarrassed for them. And to boot, the people they sent out to finish up the job were jerks. One of them was yelling and cussing at somebody on their phone like a crazy person in my garage. Honestly, these guys are like school on a Sunday -- no class. I guess this is what happens when you get to be a popular company. Customer service and basic decency goes out the window because what do you care, you have plenty of business. Right? Yeah right.

This company is outstanding…read more Honest. Dependable. Great communication. Great quality. Great price. It was very easy to set up the appointment, and they came out quickly. The team arrived right on time. James and Kyle from Texas Electrical Services came out to our house in Cedar Park to do some electrical work. They replaced two faulty breakers and replaced some broken wall outlets. They fixed two light fixtures that were not working properly. They were very pleasant and respectful. Both communicated very well and were patient with our questions. They worked very fast but with quality. Everything was done well, exceeding my expectations. Their pricing was very clear and fair. I highly recommend Texas Electrical Services of Austin. They are now my electricians for life.

We hired Austin's Texas Electrical Services of Austin (TECL #29127). One part of this was…read moreinstalling an outdoor outlet, which requires running a conduit. For this they used a flex conduit and to hold the flex conduit outdoor-rated fasteners need to be used. This was clearly not the case, as there is corrosion and rust clearly visible on the fasteners that were used to hold the conduit (see pictures). I'm sure of this because we also had conduit installed by another electrical contractor for another purpose on a similar exterior wall on the other side of the house that has zero corrosion on it. I reached out to them several times over the span of 4 weeks regarding this, and didn't hear back once. I also specifically remember that the person sent out to do the work was very rude and difficult to work with. This was particularly relevant for hanging a chandelier, since it ended up crooked and he didn't ask for feedback until after he had already taken down his scaffolding, and wasn't willing to put it back up. So to this day we still have a misaligned chandelier. Cost isn't all that matters. For what this level of quality you're better off either learning to DIY, or paying more to hire a better company if you want everything done right and good customer service.

It quickly escalated into my excitement for any gateway into home upgrades and 3 online fan orders later, I needed to find an electrician to install them! I arranged for 3 quotes and the first company came and found all kinds of issues and safety hazards that were quoted around $17k to fix. A second company gave me a quote via text and then Julian from Harper's had given me an estimate over the phone but agreed to come out in person to take a look double checking that first estimate of work we got from the other guys. When Julian saw the main concern with our box, he quickly and simply stripped a wire and fixed it while explaining to my husband what was happening. Then he did a walk through and suggested things we need to do to make our home safe. My husband instantly feels comfortable with Julian and crew and we are excited to book them for the install. I am closing out my "project" search here on Yelp and wanted to give them credit for scoring our business. For now, my rating is based on Response Time Candor Flexibility Stay tuned for photos & install reviews in Part Two!
