Veggie Bento
Dana S.

Have ordered the Veggie Bento a few times for takeout a few times and have been happy with quality and consistency. The bento comes with miso soup and you get a taste of everything: it contains a salad, gomaae, agedashi tofu, avocado roll, and spring rolls and mixed vegetable tempura over rice. I really love the tempura but everything else is good also. Spring rolls are nice and crispy with a flavourful sauce. The food is not on par with what you'd get at a more upscale Japanese restaurant but for the $13.5 price tag I'm more than happy with it, especially since the portion size is very good. The staff is very polite.

Food is delicious at a good price!

Food is good and delicious at a good price. Beef is a little bit sweet. A bento also includes a miso soup!

As someone allergic to shellfish I was happy to see many vege options. The vegetarian bento box was pretty good.

Cheap. You get what you pay for. I found many of the bento side dishes are just frozen food...

Food is mediocre. Service is abysmal. This is the only few places I don't want to tip 20%.

Spicy Habanero McChicken 9.88/10- this is the best thing McDonald has it's SO good. The habanero…read moresauce is so much better than the mayo found in the regular McChicken. They don't put a lot of sauce but I like it as it doesn't overpower the seasoned chicken and adds the perfect hint of creaminess and spice. The toasted sesame bun also adds so much flavor. Literally so good that we have ended up at McDonalds 3 times now. For a 24/7 McDonald's, their service and quality is also great. Fries 10/10- literally the best fries Skor McFlurry 8.97/10- this was absolutely delicious. Skor is a popular chocolate in Canada that has thin butter toffee covered in milk chocolate. I'm not a huge toffee fan but this was so good and we got it in a snowstorm. It was also even better when the McFlurry was a little melted. I really like the crunchy texture as well. It's quite similar to Heath but the toffee isn't as buttery and there's more chocolate which I prefer Poutine 8.78/10- the McDonald's fries with poutine is so unmatched. Tbh the gravy is a bit salty but it could be from the fries.. they also put so many cheese curds on it that basically every bite has cheese McDonald's Canada is actually so good, we've gone too many times their service is immaculate especially for a 24/7 dine in

I never ever go to McD's but the mclobster was so tempting. I was actually considering eventually…read moregoing to the east coast just to try it. So when I heard it was coming to the West Coast, it was a no brainer. So I walking in like any other day. Weather was a little hazy today, just the way I pictured the east coast, so it really helped set the tone. I walking in, ordered a McLobster meal with a maple bacon poutine. I'll cut to the chase, I enjoyed it but my friend did not. I enjoy seafood & sweets so it was perfect for me. My friend prefers to eat in a box, foods he's sure of, he's never had lobster before. Mind you the lobster is cold, NOT hot, just the way its suppose to be & the poutine has a unique contrast of sweet & salty. All in, not bad for $13. The Good: McLobster & poutine The Bad: didn't have anything else so not much Best Bet: Just try it, its limited time & the first time I've seen it in vancouver.

This location. Serves OLD chicken nuggets. And while that can be a mistake. There's nothing mistake…read moreabout serving old nuggets after you pay and specifically ask them to make it fresh to order (20 pc) and they tell you no problem, then after the appropriate wait time they give you a box of nuggets that the box isn't even hot. Fresh nuggets the bottom of the box is just borderline uncomfortable to hold. You give it back to them. And they re make And yet again. Send you old nuggets. The leftover they had in the warmer. Was put at the bottom of the box. And about 5 fresher ones on top OLD NUGGETS ARE DRIER, NOT AS CRISPY. There's simply no way to fake old nuggets. Re fried nuggets are overly crunchy batter. What's worse is this is not the first time they did this. This is the third time. First rime was 10 pc and I didn't know til I got to the bus stop on my lunch break I couldn't go back to return it. Second time was next day after that with refunded in points to re order it and again they did it. So. After two waits and two times sneaking me old nuggets for almost $20... I wrote to McDonald's and got the whole order refunded. I will never go to this location for nuggets or fries. They do it for fries too. Super old. Dry. Not hot. If you want perfection. Go to the McDonald's outside commercial station. They push out fast and piping hot food. Every time. Hashbrowns. Burgers. Fries. Nuggets. Everything fresh to order.
