Awesome place with a ton of good stuff. Came during lunch when store was closed and ran into staff and I think the owner. Took care of me on the spot even when they were short people. These people are rulers! read more

Didn't even know I could bring my old rope here and they will change out the cables (if you bought from them) Quick easy change out. Customer service was excellent. When you walk in, you think you're in the wrong place (looks like you're in a office) but just walk to the back and bam! Thank you for your help read more

Amazing service. knowledgeable and friendly staff. I'm a repeat customer and highly recommend them! great products that last.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! Britney was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helped us out without judgement. The selection was HUGE and the ropes are really nice. I definitely recommend read more

Bro. This was a dope experience. I literally came in just to see what ropes I want to get my double under game going and I did not expect to feel this confident is picking a rope and being an all star practice in them. Erica was phenomenal in really helping us with sizing, explaining technique with each type of rope. She had us doing several drills with it and it was just an overall great experience. Can't wait to get better with my first pair of ropes. read more

Britney is a gem! Helped me go through several different rope lengths to get the right size and gave me excellent pointers to focus on forward. Love RX Smart Gear, their staff, and products! read more

I have gone through many of their quality ropes. Wear out, they simply install a new cable correct to your height and cable thickness. Purchased the drag rope that's heavy cotton instead of cable. Now that's a workout.... read more

Great ropes and great service. Gave me advice on what rope length is best and let me test out the different rope types.

Great jump ropes, great company! Highly recommended if you're looking for a jump rope for any type of workouts.

They have the best ropes, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

These jump ropes are next level and high quality. I have been using them for about two years now and love them. After using them on different terrain, it was time to get a new rope. I went into RX and was greeted quickly and helped by a female, I believe her name was Sally. She quickly assisted me in switching out my equipment and it was a very easy process. Anyone who jump ropes at any level, I recommend RX. Great brand! read more

I was referred to RX Smart Gear for my next Jump Rope purchase, while visiting another Crossfit facility in Palm Desert. I have also hear from others where we CF that these jump ropes are great, so that again was another affirmation to us. I finally decided to order myself a jump rope and I got mine in one of my fav colors which is Pink handles with a Clear Cable. I also decided to order my hubby one with Black Handles and a Teal Cable, he already had a jump rope from another company. But after trying this jump rope, he prefers this one now. The order process was pretty easy, and we were surprised how fast we received our order less than a week from when I placed our order. I also called to follow up on a question that I had regarding our order and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a live person who was friendly and answered my questions. Also, they also sent me an email stating that our order had been delivered to our home, very good and thorough follow up. I would highly recommend this company for your next jump rope especially if you Crossfit and do double unders as my hubby. You will not be disappointed in the value, along with the great customer service and support. Thank you for making a great quality product and providing us with great Customer Service especially during this Covid19 Pandemic. read more

Great product + price and great customer service. No need to visit the location as they ship (reasonable cost sometimes free.) I like the fact that you buy this rope pre-sized (see website) instead of having to adjust it like the BL Aero (I still like my Speed Rope!) Also cool that you can order a custom rope by creating your own look and cable weight. Replacement cables are cheap, so buy an extra if you are not sure on weight. Also, if you skip outside you will wear through the outer cover exposing the wire. Trust me, you will want to toss the cable out as soon as that happens. My last cable lasted about 10 months; I am jumping on a tennis court a couple times per week. read more

Dave and Susan Newman are truly ambassadors in the sport of fitness. Their jump ropes are head and shoulders above the rest of the industry. From their comfortable handles that allow you to endure through those long double under WOD's like "Flight Simulator" to the vast training cable sizes that build your single, double, triple, quadruple(?) proficiency, you can't go wrong with these jump ropes. It's no wonder top athletes trust the RX Smart Gear name, just check out a few of their athletes who trust the brand. Josh Bridges, Neal Maddox, Annie Thorsdottir, Chyna Cho, Josh Everett, Rita Benavidez, the list goes on and on. read more

I purchased a rope from these guys about 2 months ago. I found out about this company because they came to my BOX and did a demo. Most of the guys I work out with also use RX. Since they are in my town, I went down there and spoke with them. They were very nice to have me come in and try the ropes. They also sized me up for the perfect size. I didnt purchase the rope right there but after a couple of days I decided to purchase online.. They called me the same day and said it was ready for pick up. After using my rope for a couple of WOD's I thought my cable thickness was too thick and realized I purchased too heavy of a gauge. I went back down to RX to purchase an additional rope for my girlfriend and also brought my rope down to purchase a new, lighter cable. RX was super kind to replace my cable at no cost since I had only used the rope a couple of times. This was definitely unexpected and great customer service. I will be a repeat customer and will recommend them to anyone that needs a rope. read more

In and out within 10 minutes. I love that they even have an area where you can try different lengths to make sure they work for you. I bought a medium rope for now and a smaller diameter for when I am ready to graduate from the medium. High quality ropes and great customer service. read more

Lets see, I purchased a custom jump rope and a pair of RX shin guards. Jump rope is great and I recommend their jump ropes. That's about all I can recommend. Ill explain. I had several questions pertaining to both items and the representative could not answer them pat basic of my questions. Also when I asked about why the shipping costs are so high and if I could have shipped the items flat rate ( would have saved 3/4 on shipping) I was rudely told that its not their policy and I have to pay their shipping prices if I want their products. I almost lost it but figured I would purchase anyway cause of the high reviews on their jump ropes. I processed the order and it finally arrived . I opened the box and instantly saw that the shin guards were not good. They have a flap on the bottom that is worn over shoes. Because of this they move around and do not stay in place. I can't return them cause all sales are final. Which is an absurd policy on non custom items. Now I'm stick with crappyshin guards. The jump rope is very good quality. But they have lost me as a repeat customer. When the cable on my rope needs to be replaced I will purchase a new jump rope from another company. RX you got me as a one time customer, good for you. Asa repeat customer , NOT A CHANCE. Buyer beware , make sure you are willing to eat the product cause if you don't like , tough. Karma is a bitch. read more

I visited the RX Smart Gear booth today at the Reindeer Games in Del Mar, and my experience not only ensured I walked away without spending a dime, but it may turn me off to the company altogether. I visited the booth around noon to look for a new rope. I was in "street clothes" because I was there to support my gym members. The booth was empty except myself and a 20-something young man manning the booth. He didn't greet me, but instead quickly glanced down at my non-CF shoes. I walked up the ropes hanging, and asked him what rope widths the company sold, because I needed a thin rope. He said (paraphrasing) "all of our ropes are there," without showing ANY interest in helping me or even looking up. When I said "is this the thinnest rope you have?" he said "do you see any that are thinner?" I have been a CF-er for almost 5 years, and am savvy in equipment, but I was so offended by his attitude that I walked away. What a disappointment since I was excited to try a new rope. I was recommended to RX Smart Gear by others in our gym, but I'm sure they will think twice after hearing about my experience today. read more
