The crew did a fantastic job. My wife and I are really happy from sales pitch, to finish. We took…read morethree job quotes and took the mid range price. The sales briefing Alex gave us was professional, detailed and he answered all our questions. Communication with him throughout the process was excellent. Now we have expensive Leaf Filters! We made it known that if anything happened to them during installation...we wanted them to be immediately repaired. Alex, wrote that addendum right into the contract on the spot. Some of the other contractors stepped around the issue which was a major problem for us. Thankfully, the crew didn't damage the gutters (that my son and I could detect) and they appear to have made it through the process. The crew arrived early and did a fantastic job. They repaired decking sections that needed (they didn't overlook it and keep going), took care not to trample my wife's plants. It was very windy today but they policed up all the debris to the last nail. The job was precise and looked beautiful. The crew was also very professional and polite. It was a pleasure to have them here. It you need a new roof...hire this outfit! You won't be sorry.

Davidson came out to repair a roof leak for us in October 2025. At the time, the issue appeared to…read morebe a failing plumbing vent stack fitting, which they repaired promptly and professionally. When the leak returned in February 2026 in the same area, we reached out under their warranty. Their technicians responded quickly, reassessed the situation, and determined that while the original repair had been done correctly, the true source of the leak was likely coming from an adjacent section. After removing a larger portion of shingles, they confirmed the cause and repaired it thoroughly. They also went a step further by addressing the interior water damage in our master bathroom ceiling, which was repaired with care and additional expertise. While no homeowner wants to deal with a recurring issue, Davidson handled the situation with professionalism, accountability, and clear communication throughout the process. We felt confident in their work and their commitment to making things right. We would absolutely use Davidson again for future roofing needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I chose this company based on their online reviews, but after my experience, I seriously question…read morehow accurate those reviews are. From the beginning, I made it very clear that I wanted 100% communication and no misunderstandings. The salesperson assured me the entire project (windows, gutters, shutters, etc.) would take about 2-3 months. I was aware I was paying above average, but I trusted their reputation. That turned out to be a mistake. The problems started right away. I assumed measurements were taken during the initial visit, but they weren't. I had to take time off work for another appointment, and the person they sent was in and out in about 20 minutes. After that, communication completely broke down. I had to repeatedly call just to get updates. Months went by with no clear timeline for installation. Every time I spoke to someone, I got a different answer. The office staff seemed completely disorganized, and emails were confusing or contradicted each other. Eventually, I spoke with managers, and even they admitted there were mistakes and miscommunication. But nothing was actually resolved. When installation finally happened, it was poorly handled. They sent only one person to install gutters, which was inefficient and unprofessional. To make matters worse, they somehow retained my payment information and charged me without my authorization, which is extremely concerning. At one point, a manager apologized but then started mentioning that if I canceled, I could be legally responsible. That is when I completely lost confidence. It felt more like a threat than an attempt to resolve the situation--especially considering they had not fulfilled their obligations despite receiving a large deposit. They later came out to take pictures and "check" the work, but it felt like they were trying to protect themselves rather than fix the issues. I have lost an unbelievable amount of time dealing with this--taking off work, making calls, and sending emails. To this day, I still have an issue with one of the windows. I reached out again and received a response that made no sense, and I still have no real answer. Also, their "lifetime warranty" is not even through them--it's through a third party, which was never clearly explained upfront. Overall, this has been an exhausting and frustrating experience. I strongly recommend being very cautious before choosing this company and considering other options. Look for the response towards any complaints they're completely generic. They don't even give at least any kind of explanation as to why of things occurred. I would take my business elsewhere. You're gonna get robbed. They're charge you an astronomical price for something that anybody else could've done much cheaper.

Sometimes customer service is lacking in this country right now, but not with Smallwood Renovation if it isn't right they will do everything in their power to make it right.
