WARNING: be really careful. i engaged four gutter companies to inspect a very specific 10-ft area where my gutter had become disattached. 3 of the four(all members of BBB) didi't even require a ladder before giving me estimates btw $500-$1000. simple problem. yet these entitled jerks started climbing onto my roof and ripping away some rotted wood on a window sill(all captured on ring camera). they were on the hunt for a bigger estimate. they scared the shit out of me when they popped up outside my window on the third floor. the owner then tried to gaslight me and changed her story repeatedly to justify why MY permission to climb all over MY house was...wait for it... unnecessary. in the end she literally blamed ME as being the problem. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC PROBLEM. THEY SEEK ACCESS TO YOUR HOUSE TO TELL YOU YOU NEED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF REPAIRS. THEY ARE A RELIC FROM LONG AGO. like the mechanics who told you your car needed a new engine regardless of its condition. My advice? Avoid. read more

I recently reached out to RVA Gutter Pros to get information on cleaning my gutters. Jennifer responded to my message in less than 30 minutes and was extremely thorough in regard to service expectations, payment options, etc. I was impressed and decided to get them to do the work. The very next morning, as promised, a tech rang me first thing to let me know they were on the way. Aiden and his assistant not only did an excellent job cleaning my gutters, but took pictures and video of trouble spots and a soffit that had some damage. Aiden explained what was causing the problem and provided some potential solutions. They then did a fantastic job cleaning up and even cleared off my entire deck! It has been a long time, since I have experienced such professional and outstanding customer service!!! I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future (and plan to)!!! I had a fabulous experience with RVA Gutter Pros specifically Jennifer one of the business owners. I reached out for a quote to clean out my gutters and also asked for a quote for gutter guards since the area I live in is surrounded by trees. The guys were at my he the next day and did a fab job on the gutters. When they were measuring they found a couple of areas of concern and said if I went abead with the gutter guards the repairs would be included along with my cleaning since that's included in the price. I was a bit worried for the quote given the repairs, but guys is was so reasonable. She even sent me a video explaining the product they use!! I spoke with Jennifer at 4:30 and said id loke to proceed and the guys were at my home by 11 am the NEXT DAY. It looks amazing and I love how they sent before and after photos! Worst Customer Service Experience! I'm a new homeowner who works professionally with contractors, so maybe I set the bar a little high. But this company does not care about their customers. They showed it to me in two clear ways. First, I was getting my gutters cleaned, but had some additional exterior work I was hoping to knock off my inspection report. I walked the job with the guys and they said Jennifer would call me with the new total. She reviewed the work and I agreed and she gave me a price. Just short of $600. I had $600 budgeted, so I agreed. I heard this and assumed this was the full price. When I got the invoice, I was surprised to see $784. I asked about the quoted price and was told that was for the additional work only and didn't include the gutter cleaning service. Never until after the work was complete was I told $784 as a total for all services. When I brought this to the attention of Jennifer and the owner, they both pushed back very hard. They would not take any criticism of their apparently 'perfect' business. This response was strike two. The owner resorted to low-brow name calling and not accepting any responsibility for how this interaction could have gone better. In my world, this is a lack of transparency and a lack of customer service that will quickly get you written off as a vendor. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. read more

I would never use these people again. I contracted them to paint my house trim. They came out completely unprepared without the paint and a power washer that wouldn't work. The guys looked like they didn't know what they were doing. Then they only painted the trim on three sides of the house. When I sent pictures and asked for them to complete the job, I was told that their original measurement was only for that amount!!! If I wanted the last side painted I would have to pay more. I first used this company to install gutter guards. I received a very quick estimate and the installation occurred the same week I called. During the installation, an issue was also found with the roof vents. They took pictures to help me see that my vents had not been secured and sealed on my roof. After they had already finished the gutter guards, they waited until I could be reached to decide whether I wanted the roof vents secured as well. Jennifer was communicative throughout the entire process and has always been so friendly and responsive. I truly believe I have received excellent service at a great value. Initial interactions were friendly and prompt. Jennifer called me after I reached out about an issue with a part of our gutter overflowing and possibly contributing to a roof leak. She let me know that they were booked out for the rest of the week due to some recent storming, but would probably be able to get me on the books for someone to come out and look the following week. I mentioned an estimate for gutter guards as well, and she said they could look up my home on google satellite and estimate it that way. She called me back with that estimate within the hour, and added "if you decide to go with that, we'll have a crew out there tomorrow to install them, and they can also look at your gutter issue." I was told we wouldn't even need to be home. I found it odd that they were too booked to come check the gutter issue, but not too booked to install gutter guards. But okay. We declined the gutter guards for a later date and asked if they could still come look at the issue. I was assured it would not be an issue for the following week. I heard back 8 days later from Melissa who sent me a text at 8:30 at night to let me know "We plan on completing your repair estimate tomorrow, so plan on the same." I was then told that someone would need to be available for the estimate in case they had trouble finding the problem area (even though my previous conversation with Jennifer made it seem like they could do it all without meeting with us). I let her know that this was not enough notice, as my home is flooded and we currently aren't even staying there. Additionally, I assume most people work or have other obligations, so giving someone notice the night before to be on standby isn't great practice. I was told "we will let you know our next availability" but never got asked what would work for me. That was 2 weeks ago, and 3 weeks after my initial inquiry. Safe to say, they'll jump on your gutters if you're willing to shell out about $700 for gutter guards, but if you're having an actual issue, don't plan on hearing from them. read more

We very much appreciate the work and value RVA Gutter pros provided to us. They cleaned every gutter, every downspout, and every drainage extension. They had the equipment to shorten a down spout so we could install a better fitting elbow extension for better drainage and cleaning. They gave valuable tips to avoid future problems including gutter covers at a problem spot above our garage. They cleaned up completely when they were done. Adin and Domingo were great to work with, and Jennifer was attentive in scheduling, letting us know when they were on their way, and following up to make sure everything went well. The guys with RVA Gutter Pros were super friendly and super efficient with our gutter cleaning! When they first arrived they asked if we were having any issues with our gutters and I had mentioned some overflow from one portion when it rains. They made sure to pay close attention to that area and once they were finished, they really took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on to me -- I'm not the best with these types of things (that's my husband's realm), so I was really appreciative of their explanation so that I could pass along the message to my husband once he got home from work (and actually sound like I knew what I was talking about!!!).
