Carlos and his team were amazing! He addressed all my concerns, provided me with a booklet of sample shingles, and educated this first time home owner on proper maintenance and care for a roof. He even drove around my neighborhood before he came to my home to give me an estimate so that he could show me what types of roofs my neighbors had, and how they would hold up for me if I were to choose them. We got our entire roof replaced during the last few snow storms, so Carlos had to reschedule a few times. I'm glad that he put the welfare of his workers before the money; that's what's important to me and that is what shows a great work ethic. I'm new to Richmond, and I've found that a good work ethic seems to be uncommon here. Carlos was available by text and email as well. In this digital pandemic age, sometimes it can be hard to actually answer the phone, so that was great for me. The best part of all, out of every quote I received, his was the best price! I contacted Carlos back just before the corona virus took hold. He came to my house, gave me some options to replace gutters and downspouts, and offered a very reasonable estimate, I had some options I wanted him to estimate, however, and then the virus and lockdown kicked in and we lost touch with each other. When I tried to get back on track, Carlos stopped responding and it became clear he was either too busy or had lost interest for whatever reason. Hopefully he's in good health! But despite the miscommunication, I'll take responsibility for perhaps outstripping his business model's need for an easy-in, easy-out project paramameter. Carlos was friendly, arrived for the estimate meeting when he said he would, and did try to respond to the options I wanted to consider. For professional roofing at a reasonable price, look no further than Master Pro Services. I had no less than 6 roofers bid on this job of roofing my house AND garage and my highest quote was $20k!!!! These guys used LandMark CertainTeed architectural shingles which is a better choice than the 3 tab flat shingles. I have two flat roofs that they also addressed with top grade materials. Marvelous job!!! This company far exceeded my expectations and put on PVC fascia boards at my request instead of the standard primed boards sold at the neighborhood diy stores. What a relief not to have to replace fascia boards being the wood fascia boards being replaced were really rotted out. Their prices were beyond fair and the crew went straight to work removing old shingles and replacing underlayment. They sent a well-written contract outlining what they would do via email and I paid using PayPal. They also accepted cash or check. Carlos texted pictures of the progress while I was at work which was greatly appreciated. They did request access to an outside outlet to charge tools. As this is an older structure, I gave them access to the garage since the outside outlet was only 2-prong and had been there probably since 1950 when the house was built. Outstanding results, great price and wonderful people who cared about their work. I would highly recommend Master Pro Services to anyone!!!! I wish I could give Master Pro Services 10 starts because they are absolutely amazing! I was selling the first home I ever purchased after owning it for 10 years. After the home inspection, we found out we needed a new roof. I reached out to several roofing companies based on the companies positive reviews posted all across social media, not just yelp. But thank goodness I chose Carlos and his team from Master Pro Services. Carlos went to the house and did a thorough assessment of the roof and all that it would take to put on a new roof as well as fix some things that needed repair based on his findings. Not once did I feel that Carlos was asking me to pay for anything that wasn't needed. He sent me pictures with his quote to show me the damaged boards under the old shingles and he even included an assessment for the detached shed. Master Pro Services is one of the most professional roofing companies that I have worked with thus far. His business card meets DPOR's standards and has his contractor license number on it. His contract/agreement was detailed and Carlos answered every single question I asked. The previous contractor I hired used the wrong materials on my roof. Carlos pointed out to me that on the older homes in my neighborhood, with low pitched roofs need metal,EPMD, or TPO roofs. The roof of my porch is pretty much flat so we went with the TPO. Carlos gave me a date in late December but moved it up to mid December because of a leak in the roof and he and his guys came out, did the job in a day and finished up the following morning. Carlos sent pics to keep me updated on the progress since I was at work. He was very professional and his crew cleaned up all materials so well you wouldn't even had known they were ever there. I'm not the biggest fan of the white TPO roof but Carlos said he can come back out and put a dark gray coating on the material when the weather gets warmer to be sure it adheres properly.
