Carlos and his team were amazing! He addressed all my concerns, provided me with a booklet of…read moresample shingles, and educated this first time home owner on proper maintenance and care for a roof. He even drove around my neighborhood before he came to my home to give me an estimate so that he could show me what types of roofs my neighbors had, and how they would hold up for me if I were to choose them. We got our entire roof replaced during the last few snow storms, so Carlos had to reschedule a few times. I'm glad that he put the welfare of his workers before the money; that's what's important to me and that is what shows a great work ethic. I'm new to Richmond, and I've found that a good work ethic seems to be uncommon here. Carlos was available by text and email as well. In this digital pandemic age, sometimes it can be hard to actually answer the phone, so that was great for me. The best part of all, out of every quote I received, his was the best price! We decided to get the dimensional tab, and another business quoted us 5 thousand dollars more than Master Pro Services (no exaggeration!). His work comes with a 5 year labor warranty, and the dimensional shingles come with a 30 year, one time transferable warranty, so it's safe to say that I feel I can rest easy now because of Master Pro! Thank you guys so much!

The very next morning, as promised, a tech rang me first thing to let me know they were on the way. Aiden and his assistant not only did an excellent job cleaning my gutters, but took pictures and video of trouble spots and a soffit that had some damage. Aiden explained what was causing the problem and provided some potential solutions. They then did a fantastic job cleaning up and even cleared off my entire deck! It has been a long time, since I have experienced such professional and outstanding customer service!!! I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future (and plan to)!!! Their website claims that their mission is to "treat their customers and each other as family"... and based on what I have experienced thus far, they are living their mission!!! THANK YOU guys for an excellent job!!!

The sales briefing Alex gave us was professional, detailed and he answered all our questions. Communication with him throughout the process was excellent. Now we have expensive Leaf Filters! We made it known that if anything happened to them during installation...we wanted them to be immediately repaired. Alex, wrote that addendum right into the contract on the spot. Some of the other contractors stepped around the issue which was a major problem for us. Thankfully, the crew didn't damage the gutters (that my son and I could detect) and they appear to have made it through the process. The crew arrived early and did a fantastic job. They repaired decking sections that needed (they didn't overlook it and keep going), took care not to trample my wife's plants. It was very windy today but they policed up all the debris to the last nail. The job was precise and looked beautiful. The crew was also very professional and polite. It was a pleasure to have them here. It you need a new roof...hire this outfit! You won't be sorry.

As a single-income homeowner, I was on a very limited budget…read morebut really needed to change out my masonite siding (though I was not at the best time of my life to do so and friends and family were reminding me of such). But JLC were competitive--without skimping on product or workmanship quality. Not only were they responsive to all questions & concerns, but they were timely and clean. There is something more I'd like to add (without trying to sound too melodramatic): As a single woman, many companies take advantage and/ or dismiss our worries, but I really could not afford (financially or mentally) ANYTHING to go wrong, so when I responded about a few things that weren't done quite right, they responded immediately to come and correct those things until I was satisfied. That said, I will be contacting Jacob's Ladder again for all future home improvement projects.

When the leak returned in February 2026 in the same area, we reached out under their warranty. Their technicians responded quickly, reassessed the situation, and determined that while the original repair had been done correctly, the true source of the leak was likely coming from an adjacent section. After removing a larger portion of shingles, they confirmed the cause and repaired it thoroughly. They also went a step further by addressing the interior water damage in our master bathroom ceiling, which was repaired with care and additional expertise. While no homeowner wants to deal with a recurring issue, Davidson handled the situation with professionalism, accountability, and clear communication throughout the process. We felt confident in their work and their commitment to making things right. We would absolutely use Davidson again for future roofing needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
