Please look over my review of Crestview RV in Georgetown so that you know what my local RV shop experience has been like. After a two year hiatus, the family has decided to get back into over the road travel. Thinking maybe Crestview had taken some opportunity to improve over the past few years, we stopped in to see what they had. We went inside, and they said, "we will be right with you" and then talked among themselves until we got fed up and left again. So, we went to RV Outlet Mall. We told the salesman about our consistently poor experiences at Crestview, and he replied, "the best part of my job is when I get to take customers away from Crestview." The salesman spent hours with us (our choice), while we went unit by unit through their inventory. He listened to our likes and dislikes, and ultimately said, "I think I know what you are looking for." It was a much older model than what we thought we wanted, but it only had 30K miles on it, and it was immaculate. He was able to show me every service record, and it had been serviced after every trip. It looked like a brand new rig except for some fading of the pin stripes. We went through it and decided this is the unit we want. We negotiated a price and shook on it. He asked if he could have a day or two before we took delivery so that he could go through it thoroughly, and we said yes. A few days later, we went in to take delivery at the scheduled time. The apologized to us and said the rig was not quite ready, as they had found a couple of things that needed to be addressed before he would feel good about turning it over to us. The ice maker wasn't working and the gas regulator on the stove had seized. He had already ordered parts, at their expense, but it the parts weren't going to come in until the next day. We were shocked that AFTER a deal had been reached, including price, that they were making repairs to the unit at their expense. Even more shocking is that this was a consignment deal, so it wasn't even their rig. But he said, "there is nothing worse than going out on your first trip and having a bunch of problems." We asked him if they would mind, at our expense, doing an oil change, radiator flush, brake fluid exchange, etc. since they would have it a couple more days anyway. He indicated that his shop works on the coach (the house parts), and that they use Mac Haik for the chassis (truck parts). Therefore, that kind of stuff we would have to have done after we take delivery. Three days later, we went in to pick it up, because the parts they had ordered had come in, and they had installed them. They went through the entire vehicle with me and showed me that every thing is working perfectly. Then they surprised me by saying that they had taken it to Mac Haik for me and had the tune up and fluid change done because they knew I wanted it. I did pay for that, of course. However, there was nearly $2K worth of work that they did to the coach that they absorbed all of the costs for. Since we had already had a deal and a price, and the vehicle is old enough that we didn't expect any kind of warranty, they really didn't have to do any of it. We were truly amazed. Whenever I have a choice, this is where I will take my coach. They have earned my loyalty with strong customer service and a commitment to ensuring that I have a great over the road travel experience. read more

My fiancé and I were very disappointed at the customer service at RV outlet mall. We came in on Saturday to look at RVs because we are in the market to purchase. We have been wanting to come in for weeks and finally got a chance and WOW was it a let down. We came in after lunch time and there were multiple (4+ that we saw) salesman out and yet not a single one spoke to us until we finally started to leave. We were on the lot for over 40 minutes looking at several different RVs and the salesmen were either joking around and talking on their golf carts (we walked right passed them twice!) or on the porch on their phones. The only reason I gave them another star was that they have a good selection of larger RVs and displayed the price inside. But the overall vibe that I got was not good. We got more help from other customers than we did their employees. We ended up going to an RV lot near Liberty Hill and are talking about putting down a down payment. Don't waste your time if you don't look the part, they will just ignore you! read more

My elderly friend purchased a Sunseeker 28606DS and has had nothing but problems from day one there were over 40 items of things that NEED repaired mostly were repaired but some STILL AND STILL not correct mattress and each repair seems to cause a new repair. She is continually being taken advantage of at every turn. As she puts it " she is old enough to know the rules and young enough to play the game." Rv outlet mall step it up and repair her home correctly!! Shame on you for dragging this on for almost a year and preventing her travels!! Get on the ball and make the repairs!! read more

I have used RV Outlet Mall's service department on 2 occasions now and each time they have been incredible. The first time I was in a real bind; a tree limb busted the A/C unit on the top of our brand new 5th wheel. We were leaving for a 4 week trip in 1 1/2 weeks. The whole team there (Susan, Brian, and Bubba) all went out of their way to get a new A/C shipped and installed so that we could make our trip. Both times Susan let us know up front what the back log of service was and kept us informed with our status. We originally bought our camper out of town; but I know we will buy our next one from RV Outlet Mall because of their service department. read more

Don't buy anything from these people!!!!! We bought a brand new 2014 Koala RV from this dealer. Two hours after we brought it the door broke. We took it back and they said they had to order new doors. That was 3 months ago and still NO doors. Since then the slide broke, the stabilizers broke, and the AC doesn't work. When I called today to complain and demanded to talk to the owner, I was told that I couldn't speak to the owner and they sent me to Jason the sales manager. When I complained he hung up on me. This is a new level of bad service. read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid these folks. They are all about the sale and not your safety. We put a deposit on a trailer after showing them our truck. They assured us we could tow the trailer safely, however, we discovered a couple of days later that the truck would have been beyond its capacity once loaded. When we talked with Jason about this he offered to sell us something for our truck (another $1,000) that he said would "fix the issue" That was not true. Despite never taking delivery and their saying the deposit was refundable, they refused to give us our money back. Frankly, our safety is worth a lot more than $500 to us but clearly it didn't matter to them at all. These just aren't good people. Find someone who values your money and you. read more

They are very unorganized, unprofessional. When I rented a RV I was waiting on one person to be helped, and she had said she never received her deposit back. I was hesitant to get into the same situation but just assumed these were honest people. Do not give these people a "deposit" you will never get it back! read more

So I went to RV outlet mall today with my defenses up expecting a terrible experience, but they are the closest RV dealer to me so I didnt have much of a choice. Boy all these 1 star reviews about the sales experience are very wrong. I was met before I close my car door by a friendly salesman named Will. We told him we weren't really buying but wanted to learn about different RV options. Based on prior reviews, I was expecting to be shown the door. NOT. I was shown multiple models, got answers to a tone of questions under no pressure or rush. When we had seen enough we said our good byes and left. I really don't understand the claims of poor sales experience posted here. My experience was 100% opposite. read more

My partner and I went here to purchase an RV that we recently looked at. We were originally shown this model by a salesman named Loyd. The first time we were there he asked if we were married or gay. We came back about a month later to finally purchase after making the decision we were aware the 19 model was sold but saw that there was. 2020 model of the same RV in the lot on their website. Loyd met us when we got out of our car we advised him we were wanting to see the 20 model of the RV we looked at last time with him. He said we don't have any and he said it could be months before he got them in. It was really uncomfortable he was really short and rude. We left and called the lot to check stock and the gentleman who answered the phone advised us there were two in stock. We have not felt this was in years. We let the gentleman on the phone know to tell the owners why they lost a sale. He said to come back that they would of course make a great deal for us on this RV. After being treated this way We would not want an RV from this company if it was free. read more

I bought an RV from RV Outlet Mall. I will not do business with them ever again. Our sales person Brooke was fantastic. And, Jason Carney the Business Manager is equally as top notch. However, the Sales Manager, Jason Kronmiller is the most rude and most unprofessional person that I have ever met. We had a slight problem, and this guy cursed at me several times, was completely unreasonable & hung up on me 3 times. There was some missing equipment in our unit as the spec sheet was incorrect. All we asked for was proper equipment to which he refused. It was a little over $100 in missing parts and the wrong color scheme. Yet he refused to make it right. I even told him that I would cancell all of my service contracts if I didn't get the proper equipment per the spec sheet. He still refused. So, I did exactly that. I cancelled all of my service contracts.....again for only $100 in parts. I would have cancelled my purchase entirely but legally you don't have a right to rescind and was threatened by Kronmiller. This is not a person that you want to do business with. I expressed my gratitude of Brooke and Jason Carney to the GM, but explained how I was treated by his Sales Manager Jason Kronmiller. He was furious, however, Kronmiller is still there. Why? I don't know. Apparentely, this isn't the first time he's treated customers this way. Just search. You will see. Since then, I have used Explore USA RV SuperCenter and have been happy ever since. I would highly suggest going there. read more

RVoutlet is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. All I wanted from them after receiving a part that was not ever going to fit, was some kind of assistance. I emailed them four times, called them twice. NOTHING. I guess 'ol 'Pete' doesn't care about quality service. That said, if you read what I write here, stay real clear of doing business with these people or else don't complain if you get shafted; you have been warned. We do $$$$$ of dollars of online purchases with thousands of companies, and I have to say rvoutlet is absolutely the worst company in so far as customer service is concerned, and that may well indeed trickle forward to their other 'services,' of which they may offer. Rvoutlet may well indeed be a nation-wide chain but I cannot decipher from my online research. However, and only because no one will answer any correspondence, I have to concede that they are a bogus 'mail-order' outfit selling junk. None the less, do your online research, see the comments from others (which I did not do, and should have) and prepare yourself for a real disappointment. Again, you have been warned. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY EDWARD. My husband and I are upgrading our main RV, and possibly our 2nd one, within the next year and had a few we excitedly wanted to look at. As soon as he found out it wasn't THAT day, he turned into the uninterested, couldn't be bothered snake that I'm sure he is. He was rude, condescending, arrogant and kept rolling his eyes when we would ask about another model to look at. He made us walk to the end of the lot while he rode the golf cart and sped off. We also caught him talking bad about us when he didn't realize we were there. As an owner of TWO new RVs that we WILL be upgrading soon and having family that are looking to purchase, we will NEVER go back there to buy. Edward single handedly lost, at a minimum, 3 sales for this lot. We will go anywhere to get our homes in the future and the sales person will ALWAYS make the difference. Bought an RV here about a month ago and we are getting ready to use it for the first time. The husband went in to ask about a different adapter for the power cord and he found out he should have a 50 amp power cord that is supposed to come with the RV. We have been over the RV about 10 times and there is no 50amp power cord. They told him they can't help him right now, maybe Monday. He told them we don't have till Monday since he will be using it starting tomorrow. He was turned away with no resolution. I called the man who sold us the RV asking for some kind of resolution and he checked with the service department and called me back saying they did not have it and maybe someone stole it out of our RV. The RV has not been broken into so he said the compartment keys are really generic and maybe someone was able to open it with a generic key. These kind of "maybe" scenarios are an easy cop out to not provide us with the equipment that was supposed to be included with the price we paid. We are waiting for another call back about the situation and if it is resolved I will give more than one star for customer service. This has been disappointing. They are treating us like we are trying to rip them off for a $200 cord when they owed us one to begin with. read more

We have read multiple reviews of various RV vendors. We begin our search for a travel trailer with RV outlet mall. That was two years ago. We kept searching around and various dealers. We also went to the RV shows. All in all we came to the conclusion of what we wanted. We ended up back where we started with RV outlet mall. Their sales staff was wonderful. We bought our Travel trailer when the RV show was open. Denny kept us informed of status of our trailer. We had to have stabilizer bars installed on our pick up. We took it in and in 45 minutes the service department had them installed. Carlos then trained me on how to use them with our travel trailer. I haven't driven a truck with a travel trailer behind it in my life. But they talked me through it and have been there for me. When I couldn't get something to work on my travel trailer they just were willing to walk me through what the problems were. They let me know when I just had to flip a switch. But I must say the sales staff and the service area are going great. We really enjoyed our sales experience and the work they've done to get us on the road. RV Outlet Mall Georgetown TX On Nov 11 2015 I called the RV Outlet Mall to see if they could do service on a Forrest River Georgetown motor home. They said they could but it would be up to a 3 week wait to get completed, but if I dropped it off now they may get to it sooner. I brought it in on Nov 12, for the following service: - Drain and fill water lines, Winterize, with RV Antifreeze before any freeze. - Leak in roof over front TV. Previously over drivers left cabinet and out of outlet over the couch. - Dometic refrigerator freezes food. Tried moving the slide to the lowest position but did not resolve the problem. - Hot water heater heats water very hot and works for a day or more then for some reason it stops heating. To get it back running I try switching it off then back on a couple of minutes later. Sometimes this works and sometimes it does not. The reliable way to get it back running is to switch the gas sensor, by the stairs, off then right back on and then switch the water heater back on. - Loud squeak in chassis just to the left of the drivers seat. - Check fluid level and hoses on hydraulics for the slides and auto levelers. Some hydraulic fluid on the chassis behind the propane tank on the frame. When I dropped it off on Nov 12 they told me they do no do any chassis work and it would have to go somewhere else for that. I agreed to have them do the rest of the work. Around Dec 15, 2015 - I called RV Outlet Mall to see when I could pick up the motor home as I had not heard anything. I was told that they had not completed the work and it would be a day or two more. Since it was December I asked to be sure it had been winterized already and they assured me it had. They also explained that day their mechanic had fallen thru the glass shower door and that the person I was talking to was taking the shower door to a glass shop to get the glass replaced. I explained that I was going out of the country from Jan 5 thru Jan 23 and if it was not ready by Jan 4 then they would have to store if until I get back in country. They assured me that was no problem and there would be no storage charge because of their delay. - I called Jan 4 and was told it was still not ready because the show door had been repaired before they could not repair it. They would have to replace the complete glass part of the shower. - Approximately Jan 15, 2016 I get a phone message the motor home is ready to be picked up.. Attempted to pick up Jan 23, 2016 - I called to be sure it was ready and they told me it was. I went to the RV Outlet Mall and payed the $300 plus bill. No charges for storage or for replacing the shower. They brought the motor home around front for me to take home. I decided to do an inspection of the work they had done as this is the first time I had any work done by them. - I opened the side compartment were the filter and hose connections are. Immediately I notice the filter cartridge was still in the filter and the water in the filter is clear, not pink. - I go around to speak to the driver who just brought the motor home out front and he is standing next to the motor home with the broken off grab handle, from the side of the motor home, in his his hand. He explained that he slipped on the step getting into the motor home and the handle broke off when he grabbed it. He assured me that he had talked with the service manager and they would order me a replacement on Monday and would install it when it came in. - At this point I went looking for the service manager, whom I had never met. There were several people at the rear of the shop unhooking a 5th wheel from a pickup. I asked if the manager was around and he introduced himself. I explained that there were issues with my motorhome and I would like to go over each with him. He took the time to walk over to the motorhome and I was showing him the lack of pink fluid in the filter or any of the semi clear hoses in the compartment. Unfortunately, he explained that he is color blind and cannot tell pink from clear water. He took my word for that it was not winterized properly as it still had the old filter in filter holder, which he agreed would have been removed if winterized. - He also told me he was aware of the handle issue and that he would take care of that Monday. - Being on roll, I suggested that I was going to check the shower replacement. I went into the shower area and tried to open the shower. I could not, each time I pulled on the handle the complete shower surround would move a few inches and the door would not open. I asked the manager to show me how to open the shower and he came in a preceded to lift the shower door straight up about an inch and then pull it out. I explained the door never worked that way before the new surround was put in and then asked how someone inside the shower was to open it with wet hands. He then decided I was correct they had done something wrong. They do not care and do not check their own work. read more

We received a flyer in the mail promoting RV Outlet Malls 22nd Annual Birthday Bash and thought we would check it out. A saleswoman met us when we drove up and asked what we were interested in. I told her and she admitted that she was new to the business and wasn't familiar with the type of unit I was interested in. I asked to see a unit that was nearby. It wasn't exactly what we wanted but I was interested to see it. The salespersons response and I quote "Well if you're not going to buy it, why bother looking at it?" I asked if I was wasting her time and she responded "You're wasting your own time, not mine." I said "Never mind" and asked if I could just enter their drawing for the $500 Cash Giveaway. She brought us inside and I filled out the entry slip and she said that she would get me entered. If I were a betting man I would bet that entry never made it past the garbage can. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. What a waste of time. read more

I recently took my RV to RV Outlet Mall for a complicated repair (a roller bearing on the slide unit had fallen off). I made an appointment to drop off the RV, showed a mechanic the bearing, and he knew exactly where it came from and explained that until they opened up the compartment which housed the slide (which involved totally dismantling the pull-out bed) it would be hard to say how long it might take to fix it.. The next morning, I received a call from the service advisor with the full extent of the repair, as they had taken the bed apart that very afternoon that I dropped off the RV. They also told me the parts that would be needed to make the repair, and an estimate of the cost of the repair. I approved the repair to be done, and they said they'd let me know if they could find the parts locally or would have to order them. The very next day, the service advisor called me again to say they found the parts locally, the repairs had been done, and the RV was ready to pick up! This has to be the fastest repair service I have ever received. We picked up the RV and then then took a two week vacation. The slide unit worked perfectly, and the bed unit worked even better that before after it had been reassembled. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with RV Outlet Mall regarding RV repairs. I intend to take our RV back there in the future. read more

we had bought some small items for our camper in the past from this place and felt we could trust them so when it came time to buy a a/c unit we gave them a call, I ask Kenneth if they had a Coleman 13500 b t u in stock and he said they had several. so my husband went to pick it up what they brought him out was a 13,500 in a beat up 15000 box and told my husband they don't come with a warranty card or instructions any more. after we talked about it when he came home I called and talked to Kenneth why it had no paper work or box, he then told me he would check into it came back on the phone an said he opened one in the back and it had the papers with it, so I told him we would exchange it for one new in box with papers, he then told me he did not know if they had any more, so I told him that's ok we will take the one you just opened. so my husband brought it back and they had it ready for him in the box straps and all never opened.....so many lies. if you do buy something from them be weary keep both eyes on what you purchase. they will try a bait and switch, this was clearly a take off. rv outlet can not be trusted. for a established business they run there place like a bunch of fly by nights... when I told Kenneth we wanted to exchange it he said that ok we will use it, don't let then use it on you. read more
