RUN!! I'm NEVER coming back. I had them install brand new LED headlights and running boards. It took a week+ for them to do it.. Once I picked up the truck they said "you will have issues with the running boards, they were "hard" to install. You should've got a different brand" mind you these are top Of the line running boards.. they were mad because it took more work for them. Secondly, the headlights. Right when I drove it off their dirt road, the blinker wasn't working. I took it back for them to Fix it, no "sorry about that" just looked at me like it was my fault. So they rigged it for a couple of weeks and now it's out again. Taking it to another shop to correctly fix the wiring issues since they can only mount tires and complain about hard work. No attention to detail, no quality work. Horrible. read more

Installing Lifts, Grills, Lightening, suspension equipment has all changed entirely. With trucks having cameras in the grills and tailgates, numerous sensors its really easy to get in over your head with the simplest mods. B & H is staffed with guys from the Owner on down that literally have decades of experience in the offroad and service industry. I'm a former automotive ASE master tech and used to run a shop myself, and I know better than to go it alone. "Bolt-On" no longer exists if it ever did. I wanted to get a new hitch put on my Audi Q7, and B&H did an exceptional job from my first phone call through the installation. Pat (I think the owner) took my call and said that they would have to order the hitch for me. After some digging around and looking at delivery times and prices from his distributor, he said I'd be better off just ordering it myself and bringing it in for them to install. He actually looked it up online himself on etrailer.com and e-mailed me the exact hitch that I needed. He said it would be cheaper and faster for me to do it that way given the circumstances. He would only charge me for the labor. Getting the hitch installed was a breeze too. They told me it would take about 1.5-2 hours, and that I could wait if I wanted. I showed up for my appointment with the hitch and hunkered down with my laptop to work. At one point, Pat took me out into the shop to explain that they had to cut through part of my lower rear bumper cover underneath the back bumper. He showed me exactly how they were going to do it and assured me that he would do it himself to make sure it was perfect. I really appreciated the time and care that he took to do that. When I talked to my Audi rep later, he confirmed that they have to cut into the lower rear bumper cover unless you buy Audi's hitch package. The installation ended up looking perfect, and it's solid. I've mounted a 58lb Thule platform bike rack on it with two road bikes, and there's no rattling or movement at all. I would definitely come back here for any other similar work. read more

My first experience here was great we walked in looking for items and we were greeted, explained everything told us how things worked etc etc. We decided to order the parts and they asked us what day, they told me that they don't work saturday's but this particular saturday they would be working so that was great and we had set up a time to come in etc etc. Come saturday my wife showed up with my truck to get the items installed and the gate was locked up no one was there and she was upset because she had to take time off of work and get there. Should have been a simple one hour install and she ended up turning around going home. I get a call a few days later stating that they had an emergency and they didn't open (which I totally understand) however they did have an employee come in to call all the clients that were suppose to come in on saturday to let them know not to but we did not get that call, our appointment was at 10am. I appreciate the call later but after this experience we have decided to take our business elsewhere. I am sure they are great during regular business hours but this was not a great experience and when we had to adjust our schedules around to make it work in the end nothing even came about. IF you come Monday-Friday I am sure they are great just don't come on saturdays when they tell you. read more

You have to give credit where credit is due. B&H is a great shop. I took my Chevy 2500 to have a leveling kit installed. They installed upgraded box control arms, fox shocks, level kit and a rear lift. The service is amazing. The shop is clean and very well taken care of. I already have another appointment to have a rough country light bar installed next week. After that I'll be adding power running boards. This shop has it all and for a very reasonable price. A few things to say here. 1: price I got was different than what I was quoted. He juggled the numbers to bring the price down close to the original quote but I could tell was not happy about it. 2: seems like a very grumpy crew. 3: parts installed correctly but now I have an adapter running into my knee. There is a older gentleman there that has a personality issue. I interacted with him twice in the last week. I do not know if he is the owner or what he is. He needs to work on his customer skills. Well that is part of the problem; last week I had some work done on my new truck. I went there early in the am as I was instructed and when I arrived they stated it will be 3 hours before my truck will be worked on. So I assumed there was a mistake on their end. And still decided to get the worked done. So the fact was the work was finally completed late that day. Then I decided to get more work done to finish what I needed to add on my truck for the following week. Parts were ordered and will arrive Monday. So the agreement was to be there Tuesday in the early am. Okay so I drove 40 miles to be there early as again I was told the appointment was 1pm. I guess it would not be too bad to get the work done. But with the attitude of this older gentlemen made me feel uncomfortable for the second time I decided to forget about it I just left the shop. My main point here is this gentleman needs to take a look in the mirror and see himself on how customers perceive him when he is interacting with the public. It's not a good view. read more

Great value, fast service! Sarah and I bought a '73 corsair camping trailer for fun on our next camping trip - the poor thing has had little maintenance, and I was sure we'd spend as much as we paid for it getting it road worthy. The jack was shot, and were were having to use a car jack to lift and lower the trailer for towing. I had seen the B&H place on Lamar and gave them a ring to find out if they could help us. I had a trailer jack replaced and 4 wheel bearings (two axle trailer) packed and greased at B & H for a total of $230, and they got it done within 24 hours. I just had a front end replacement Ranch Hand bumper installed on my truck as well as a diesel fuel transfer tank. They re-installed my weatherguard tool box that I had pulled off of my last truck and didn't charge me for the install. All the work that was done was professional and clean. I left a $450 set of wrenches in the back of my truck on accident, and when I went to pick it up... they were still there. I used to use a different place on I-35 that I had always been happy with, but I got tired of waiting 2 weeks for an install. Also, about two months ago a company truck broke a gooseneck ball, that was installed from the factory about 10 yrs ago loose from the truck. After being told it would be two weeks by the company we used to use, I found this place. Not only did they fix it, I had the truck back to my guys in 3 hrs. It's so weird to be a customer in these times and get treated like I'm annoying them because I want some basic answers before I drive 30 minutes one way to take a look. John was fantastic to deal with. I called on a Monday to get an estimate on cost and wait time for a spray-in bed liner for my new truck. Fortunately, a spot was open the next day. No fuss, I dropped it off, he called a few hours later and I picked it up. The quality is great for the price I was quoted. I was making my way out after paying and noticed they had some WeatherTech floor liners for my vehicle in the color I wanted. +1 for something in stock, regardless of product or location. The only thing keeping me from putting out a 5th star, was a small cut on my box light switch. Likely from a knife/cutter which scarred it up. Not a big deal as it's a truck bed and i'll put it through it's paces, but probably occurred out of rushing. If I could subtract a half-point, I would instead of a full point. *update - not worth the 1 star hit. Back to 5 stars. Overall, John was super friendly, to the point and no fluff. Found these guys as a backup just Incase U-Haul couldn't help me with my wiring install. After finding out U-Haul doesn't have the part and couldn't fit me in till next week I contacted B&H through email first. Pat quickly responded and helped me out. I asked to get an electric brake controller install done and was wondering if he can help me for same day service. He said at times he can. After finally driving into Texas and resting overnight. I drove in the next morning and Pat helped my family and I. He didn't even charge me for things that I already had. U-Haul tried to charge me for things that I didn't need. He quickly did it in 30 minutes and took the time to teach us how to use it. Definitely recommend them. As we were waiting for our vehicle we were walking around and seeing the products they have and they have a pretty good selection. It's probably one of those place where visiting them in store is better so they can better assist you. read more

Worst place to do business. They do not stand by there warrant for tint repair. Our tint is starting to peel on the passenger side door, we took it back and they blamed it on us picking at it. Took it in a 2nd time for pits on the driver side and the guy blamed it on the seatbelt hitting it or watches. I told him we don't wear watches and the holes were too far away on the window for the seatbelt to hit it. He argued with me before storming off back into the building. Go somewhere who appreciate the people they serve, have a good product, does a good job installing it, and are people I'd their word. read more

Who would have thought that one would have to take their custom car installation work to a Truck Accessory shop? I didn't, did you? I called all over the Round Rock, and Austin area, and I couldn't find one "custom installer", that had the knowledge, or experience to perform a "simple" installation that has been posted on youtube numerous times (it's not really simple if you can read the instructions). Knowing my physical limitations, has taught me that when you can't competently do it yourself, find a professional to do it for you. That professional is Pat at B&H Customs. Pat took on the challenge to install a custom piece of body work on a brand new Sports Sedan, he never waivered, or hesitated the slightest bit. His answer was bring it in, I'll get it done. Well, Pat is a man of his word. He did what nobody else in the area could, or would, and he delivered a product that was perfectly installed, at a price that was very reasonable. So, just because it says Truck Accessories doesn't mean that's the only kind of vehicle that they'll accessorize, or customize, Pat will make a believer out of you. I know he made one out of me. These guys are it! I wanted to have a heavy-duty front bumper/grill guard combo put on my truck along with a back bumper. They called me when the parts came in, after two days, and told me they could do the job on Saturday morning. I brought my truck in at 8:30 and took off to run some errands with my gf. At 11:15 they called and told me my truck was ready. Wow! When I saw it I couldn't believe how great it looked. The installation was top-notch! I have taken three trucks to Pat get windows tinted. Pat is a master at tinting and very knowledgeable about the tints and different types of glass. He tinted my truck, my son's Tahoe and my whole truck including camper shell. I highly recommend B&H for your tinting needs. I can not believe what just happened to me here. After quoting four places to have a hitch installed I went with B&H because they were local. They were the third highest price out of the four. I received a call on Tuesday my hitch arrived and we worked out an install date for Saturday 8AM. We arrived early and by the time I arrived back home there was a voice mail from the company. I returned the call and he says they transposed the part numbers when ordering and instead of having a hitch for a Nissan they ordered a hitch for a Dodge. The guy suggested they could install the electrical and hopefully have a hitch in on Monday. At that point, due to time constraints, I decided if this company can't order the right part how can I trust them to put it on my new car properly so I said I'll come and get my car. When I arrived I let him know they really screwed my plans and immediately the guy fly's off the handle, raises his voice and starts berating me ending the sentence with "you stupid sh**!" At this point the only thing in my head is I was willing to pay more to stay local, I was very patient with a 5 day lead time for installation and was able to leave the car there as long as they needed. I get home to my son saying some guy called to apologize for losing his temper. Well you know what B&H. Apology NOT accepted! I will be taking my business to Spillar. read more
