Subject: Trailer Damage Report - Negligence While In Your Care…read more Dear Outdoor Living RV Team, I am writing to express my profound dismay and frustration regarding the state in which my trailer was returned after being in your care. The damages inflicted on my trailer were completely preventable, and I am absolutely upset about this situation. I trusted you to take care of my trailer, but when I got it back, it was covered in mold and cost over $1,400 to fix. My insurance is charging a $500 deductible, which I feel you are responsible for paying. Timeline of Events: Tuesday, May 9, 2023 I dropped off my trailer at 8:00AM for it to be resealed and to get an inspection. I told Cory that the last time it rained, I noticed water on the floor of my RV but didn't know where the leak was coming from, and for him to please check all the sealed joints. He agreed and quoted me $300 for that job and $238 for the 28-Point-Inspection. He told me that morning that it might take up to 2 weeks before he could look at it, at which point I asked to take it back home and bring it back closer to when they would be able to look at it. His response no, that he preferred to have it on the lot in case he had time to look at it sooner. Wednesday, May 10, 2023 During that very day and night, we got a ton of rain and wind, so, knowing my trailer had leaks somewhere, I texted Cory to see if my trailer was covered and if not, if the water leaks were taken care of. I was unable to reach Cory by text, so after calling quite a few times, I finally got hold of Cory who said he would take care of it. I offered at the time to go check on my trailer myself, and to dry it up if need be, but again, Cory said no, he would take care of it. What Cory ended up doing was putting a tarp over my trailer WITHOUT LOOKING AT ALL to see if water had leaked into my trailer. It was there to have leaks fixed, of course water got in. But no, instead, it was left there to rot for two more weeks causing a ton of mold damage (see photos). Two Weeks Later... I eventually get a call from Cory about 2 weeks or so after that initial date. I was excited, I thought my camper was ready to get back on the road, all fixed up and ready to go. But no, I was told to come look at the damage that Cory's carelessness caused, and to call my insurance to have it fixed. The insurance asked me for an estimate, which I tried getting from Cory, but he completely stopped responding to me. I found someone else who was responsible and professional, got my estimate and was able to get my trailer fixed. These damages caused me a lot of trouble and money. It's hard to believe a company like yours could treat a customer's property this way and then not try to rectify the situation. I'm really disappointed with Outdoor Living RV, and I wrote them this letter asking for some compensation and still did not heard from them. So I do NOT RECOMMEND this place ever!

Anytime there's an RV show, I'm going to have a great time. If you have an RV, you're always…read morelooking for your next one. So we checked out the annual show in San Antonio. Two vehicles you can think about: Newmar Dutch Star - all you ever wanted in a motor coach. Literally. My wife was outraged with the fact it didn't have a fireplace. The salesman said "the floor is heated." "Problem" solved, ha ha. By the way, the salesman wasn't doing anything. He didn't have to. I sat down in the recliner and had no desire to move. That vehicle is nicer than most people's homes, which it should be for the significant price. Then there's the Grand Design 380FL. The roof - the Blue Compass salesperson let us hit a sample of the roof with a hammer. It did no damage. It has a lifetime warranty on an RV roof. Let that sink in. It's a great, great vehicle with tons of space and a marvelous front living room. It costs - about as much as you'd expect. A really nice 5th wheel. My wife wanted it but getting a truck for it would cost me almost as much as the 5th wheel. This is not a major RV show - the Florida SuperSale is going on this week & I'm sure the Austin show is coming soon. It is good enough and I dont have to go far to see premium vehicles.

Ok this is the follow up out of fairness but I will still be honest. I had my trailer in their…read moreshop from June until October, not good! Some of the issues were the manufacturers fault and some where service issues. The RV service world is not good, the processes they have are too long and very inefficient. My trailer had many issues and it was a very painful process and wouldn't wish it on anyone, not sure how this industry stays in busy actually. So fast forward to today, some Positives. The owner of explore usa was involved the entire time I was having issues. Most of the time helpful but there were times where he was just pacifying me. At the end of the day I was able to trade in my trailer on a brand new trailer. I felt this was a great gesture and feel that the new trailer we received was a more than adequate replacement. We did have a say in what new trailer we were getting. This was a good ending to a horrible problem, I am giving them another chance with my new trailer hopefully mine was just a lemon. We are trying to move forward, I just hope that if we have warranty work from now on the process is changed to become more efficient and customer friendly.

Office contacted me and told me I could go look at Arby's at the local place which was this place. I like wordplay you got words are amazing and they can't hurt like they did in his case. I stated that Linda will definitely be getting my business from Houston Office. I just needed him to show me what I need to tell her I buy. This way they throw away line to basically get him to offer me a free water and be a real sales man. Instead, he decided to ignore me while I was on the phone with Linda because he would be a bitch. He refused to show me anything because Linda would get the admission which isn't true at all. It was just a fucking bait line. Now nobody gets my fucking $89,000 for this fucking camper band but I still won't buy but not for any of you. Traveled from Boston MA to San Antonio to pick up an 2010 Fleetwood Bounder Classic RV that was…read moredescribed by sales person Albert to be an 8.5 our of 10. Certainly ratings can be subjective and I think Albert may have been ambivalent about the condition vs. being willfully untruthful. Condition: Underneath heavily rusted, major chips missing in counter tops, 5 jagged slots cut into counter top for no apparent reason, large ugly shed pad lock on the entry door, signs of water damage in several cabinets, exposed screw holes EVERYWHERE, dirty carpet and the final straw that did me in was the 24" crack across the windshield. None of this was disclosed to me when we were discussing the vehicle. Lost around $1,800 between airline tickets for my family to fly down to drive home with me, hotel expenses, cab fare etc.. Lost our February vacation week, Had they been honest upfront and advertised that this vehicle came from an auction lot and needed much TLC to bring it back to good condition, I might have been more receptive to the idea that there was work to do. The windshield alone was close to $3K to replace!!!! This is not an RV dealership as they purport, this is a storage facility that has discovered how to make some cash selling RV's from people who have them stored they and mostly from buying them at auctions. They know little about RVs and will not be able to service the vehicles in any meaningful way. On the flip side, their prices are good and you might find a gem that needs little to be a good RV for someone. You REALLY need to know your stuff before buying here though....

Unfortunately, my RV and I lost the fight. I had some pretty hefty damage down one whole side of the trailer, and the back wall was ripped loose With a about a 6 inch gap you could see into the bathroom through. Class A worked their magic and made that trailer look like new in what I thought was a pretty short time. I could not have been happier with their service. Last year, my slide wouldn't go back in. I labored to get it in manually and took it to be worked on at Class A. They've got it working like new. While it was in the shop, they also resealed my roof for me. While I was there, I asked about RV storage. Not only did they have it, they had it for 1/3 the price I was paying in San Antonio. Even with the added drive to Pipe Creek, I save time because I'm not dealing with the traffic getting to the Tally Road area. I recommend Class A for any service you need done on your RV. It is a very good company. The office staff is very friendly. Oh... I should mention how one of their technicians stayed on the phone with me for over an hour telling me how to get my slide back in manually so that I could tow it to the shop. He was awesome!
