Came on a Sunday without a reservation and was able to seated in minutes. Everything was top notch. Larry was our server. Very well manner, patient, and knowledgeable in his dealings with us. My favorite part is they serve they serve you a HOT steak. I understand letting it rest after the initial cook. But let's get some heat to it afterwards. And that is the one thing I always appreciate about their product.

Salmon, Mac, Creamed Spinach, 16 oz. New York Strip, Sizzling Crab Cakes, & Shrimp Pasta!

The food here is amazing, as I knew it would be. The mac was perfectly cheesy, the spinach was a creamy like no other, the steak was cooked with precision! I really appreciate our server Liz, her service was outstanding. She gave us her honest opinions on the food, which is rare at establishments. The atmosphere was so quaint. I was talking with my friends and it felt like we were the only ones there, was perfectly spaced from each table insuring comfort and privacy. Will be back!

My wife and 7 month old daughter had an enjoyable Valentine's Day meal at the SouthPark Ruth Chris Steakhouse. We decided to get two wonderful drinks to start along with the oyster Rockefeller. My wife decided to try the sea bass she enjoyed that fish. I decided to try the stuff chicken breast which was great! For our sides we're chose au gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were amazing the bacon set it off. Lastly for dessert my wife ordered checked and I decided on crème brûlée! Nice ending to a great Resturant Valentine's Date night. Larry our server and the entire team was very knowledgeable I highly recommend giving RC a try

9/12 This was our third time at Ruth's Chris and this time we we're celebrating my 30th Birthday. The service was amazing; we were taken care of by Miles. I started with a Strawberry Lemon Drop with Don Julio instead of vodka w/ a sugar rim. I ordered my usual the Stuffed Chicken Breast. It did not disappoint in any way. The side dishes were very good. We ordered the sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach. Hubby's main course which was the lamb chops was overall underwhelming. The first chop was delicious and just as he expected it to be; tender and flavorful meat. But the other two were extremely fatty and lacked lean meat. We were brought a complimentary Birthday Chocolate Mouse and Champagne flutes. I would recommend Ruth's Chris for a special occasion!

Tomato bisque soup

Our server was Fabier and he was very sweet and friendly. Our food came out quickly and the steaks were divine. I loved the creamed spinach, but both the au gratin and baked potatoes left something to be desired. There was no flavor or seasoning. I do also wish RC would stop serving the hard butter with their bread and give that nice softened steak butter. The bread pudding was moist and delicious. The tomato bisque soup was a great portion but a smidge too salty/rich. The restaurant itself was clean and we were seated right away with our reservation even though it was a busy night. Music was more classical than interesting but there are trying to cater to a certain audience and so I suppose it fit. Music was better after 9pm.

A fantastic meal with a comfortable and classic steakhouse setting. Great area since it's in South Park. Service was top notch and both steaks were cooked perfectly. I also recommend talking with the sommelier as he gave us a great suggestion.

Went on Father's Day to celebrate and didn't have the experience we have had in the past from Ruth Chris. Numerous times we had to request our server as they were absent. The seafood tower was presented with over cooked lobster that was chewy. The waiter didn't seem to care. The tables next to us were left dirty for most of the evening. When we finished dishes, they were moved over to the dirty tables rather than being cleared. Au Poive sauce that cost $8 was served cold. We had 3 bottles of $140 wine and outside of the 1st glass of each bottle, we had to pour for ourselves. No decanter was provided. The servers and wait staff complained to us how busy they were that day. Definitely not the experience we had hoped for to celebrate.

Located inside an old chair, this place was amazing! Cool,…read morecasual yet elegant, service was outstanding and the food was really delicious and fresh. We came for brunch and they almost had to roll us out of there. They passed around oysters, shrimp cocktail and grilled pineapple with honey. Three different food stations: meat, vegetable and shrimp skewers was one; your choice of southern ham (prosciutto basically) or crab cake eggs benedicts was the second one and the third one I don't remember (mostly because I didn't quite make it there). In the middle they had lobster deviled eggs, assorted tea sandwiches and a small section with desserts. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Yes, it's expensive but so well worth it!! Parking can be an issue but the good thing is, you can walk off a little of everything that you ate so that's a win!

It wasn't worth the price tbh for brunch. I will update my review or make a new one if we go to…read moredinner and maybe that was our mistake. $78 per person from brunch wasn't that great. They barely brought around food like the French toast bites. They kept bringing around oysters and literally no table wanted them that I saw. It wasn't that busy either, tons of empty tables. Instead they held off the arguably best dish of the house: French toast bites. We FINALLY got them at the end of our meal before we left but had to stalk the waiter for them. For $78 there should be way more rotations of the better dishes. Our waiter was great and atmosphere is gorgeous. Playing, food quality and everything was average. The highlight was the poached eggs, eggs Benedict, bacon, potatoes, skewers and everything else was okay. Not better than like Golden Corral or a standard buffet. My opinion is skip the brunch for that price, unless you really like oysters LOL. Also if I had little kids, would never waste money on brunch here.

I sat at the bar and was served by MiMi in which she was awesome. She recommended the lamb chops and an appetizer which did not disappoint at all. I started with their wagyu old fashioned. I was a little hesitant about how the tallow might be too much but it wasn't. It added a slight hint of creaminess without overpowering the old fashioned. Fantastic. We started with the seafood tower which had raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, and oyster Rockefeller. The oysters rockafeller was great, with a mix of crunch, meatiness, cheesiness, and the brininess of the oyster. The shrimp cocktail was cooked well, with a little bite and definitely not overcooked. The raw oysters were okay. I normally like East Coast oysters but these were just so so. We also got the burrata which was light and airy and delicious. I got the rib eye at medium rare. It was unfortunately a little tough and slightly overcooked. This is what prevents it from getting 5 stars. We ended with the bread pudding which was really good, sweet but not overly rich. Again, disappointed that the steak wasn't great given it is a steakhouse but everything else was pretty good so it doesn't drop down to 3 stars.

I was transported back in time! Transported so far back I forgot that my phone existed for photos…read more I see why this place has stood around for more than 80 years. I came off of a recommendation from a family friend, and they assured me I would have a great experience at any point in time and with any server. Though, They did recommend Victor. And Victor walked me through everything I needed. He anticipated my needs. He answered my questions and he came through with recommendations. The steaks that we ordered were technically proficient, and seasoned with authority, to complement their dry aging process. We ordered the New York and a fillet mignon. Our sides included a baked potato, Caesar salads, and buttered broccoli. I became a little creative and I dragged my fillet mignon through the buttered sauce from the broccoli and I didn't think it could get better than that. When Victor mentioned that we should just buy a bottle of wine, his recommendation was fantastic. We got the bottle of Oberon. All of this to say, we snagged one of the last reservations after 9 PM on a Friday night. And I still received excellent service.

We had a reservation for a Monday dinner on my husband's birthday, which happened to also be 1/2 priced wine day (glasses or bottles up to $40). Maybe it was because of the affordable wine or the World Cup on TV, but the place was surprisingly bumpin'. We came with our toddler, and the staff were super friendly with her. She really enjoyed snacking on the complimentary crackers and cheese spread. My husband and I decided to share the dinner special for 2, which is a 10 oz filet mignon, 2 lobster tails, and 4 sides for $178. A delicious splurge! For our sides, we chose a Caesar salad, cheesy fried potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, and balsamic brussels sprouts. The steak was so tender and savory. Absolutely loved it. Definitely one of the best steaks I've had in the city! After our meal, our server brought a complimentary dessert, a layered mousse cake, served in a martini cake with a candle to celebrate my husband's birthday. Such a nice surprise, and the perfect end to a special family meal. Here's to 70+ more years of BnB in CLT!
