Diane and I walked next door from the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino where we were staying, to the Hard Rock Hotel for our 8:00 p.m. reserved dinner, where not everything went smoothly. The restaurant was already out of Shrimp Cocktail, so the only appetizer we ordered was Mushrooms stuffed with Crabmeat, which Diane does not eat. And I added a good but a little bitter Caesar Salad. Diane's ordered Sea Bass with a side of French Fries initially came out with unwanted garlic on top, but no Panko Breadcrumbs were sprinkled on it as had been requested. So her entree was sent back and returned with Panko sprinkled over the top. But her ordered Lobster Bisque was simply forgotten. And silverware was never changed. My Petite Filet arrived medium rare as ordered, with some char on top. It was tasty even though it did not sizzle. A Lobster Tail, Grilled Asparagus, and Baked Potato rounded out my dinner. We both passed on dessert. So, our meals were okay. But there were too many service and cooking errors. And our experience was not up to the level of Ruth's Chris standards we were accustomed to in Buckhead, Georgia; Las Vegas; and New Orleans. read more

We stopped by while staying at the hotel. The calamari app was one of my favs! Steak and drinks were good as expected from Ruth's Chris, but a couple of things took away from the experience. The bathroom situation was really limited, which was inconvenient, and they didn't allow us to bring our own drinks from outside -- a bit strict compared to other spots nearby. This particular Ruth Chris is located inside the Hard Rock Biloxi Casino. We have dined here several times, the service has not been stellar but certainly wasn't the worse. It can get very busy here. I am sure it's because of the free comps given to casino patrons. The staff seems to get overwhelmed at times as they pass your table quickly looking preoccupied and not checking on you. The menu selections are typical in Ruth Chris fashion. The sides are large enough to share and the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms are our favorite appetizer to order. I would dine here again only because it's 15 minutes from our home, but the Mobile, AL location is our go to for special occasions. read more

We went to Ruth Chris last night for our 40th Anniversary . I give it 5 stars every time. They cook their steaks on 500 degree . They are delicious! The sides are a la carte . This particular Ruth's Chris is located in the Hard Rock hotel in Biloxi. It was very easy to find but it's important to note that the Hard Rock Casino checks ID's before you even enter the area to get to the restaurant if you have minors with you. We had reservations so we were sat upon walk in, the restaurant is nice but on the smaller side. We went here to celebrate my dad's birthday so they set the table up very nicely with little Happy Birthday confetti. We also had the pleasure of having a wonderful server named Justin. Justin started off by providing us with recommendations, specials, and taking our drink orders. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and was super friendly. I had the lobster bisque and the wedge salad and bleu cheese dressing. I wasn't a fan of the lobster bisque because the flavor was not what I had been used to our server informed us that the Bisque was made with Sherry a unique twist to the recipe that I didn't care for, because I didn't end up eating my soup he took it off of our check without us having to ask! My salad was really good and my dad loved his steak and lobster! Towards the end of the meal we were given a free dessert to celebrate my dad's birthday which was the crème brûlée and the cheese cake. The dessert was spectacular and perfectly cooked! My wife and I ate at this Ruth Chris location on 09/29/2025 which is located in Bilox's Hard Rock casino. The service was fine with a nice atmosphere. My wife sent the first steak back, a filet mignon because it was chewy and their second attempt was cooked fine but had no flavor. I got the salmon with 3 small shrimp that were bland. The salmon was fine but nothing to write home about. The potatoes and brussel sprouts were average, as well as my wife's onion soup that she said didn't leave a lasting impression. I sent my steak house salad back because it had a funny taste. The lettuce wedge replacement was fine and the cheese cake was very good but tiny. Our only other experience with this restaurant chain was when my wife ate at a Hawaii location which she said was great! Maybe this Biloxi location of Ruth Chris was having an off night but we wouldn't eat there again especially at those prices. I'd recommend anyone visiting Biloxi to try the Bayview Cafe located in the IP casino. The food is much better at half the price and as my wife often states "we've never had a bad meal there". I've eaten at steakhouses all over the US and I realize people have different taste and I would have probably given Ruth Chris 3 stars had it not been so expensive. The only other worse steak dinner that we've had recently was at the Fire Steakhouse located in the Wind Creek Casino Atmore, Alabama. Ruth Chris Steakhouse, no matter where I go you are consistent in all locations! One of the things I love about Ruth Chris is consistency of dishes and the service. Appetizer favorite is the crab cake, it is a MUST, it was tasty and filled with lump crab pieces. We ordered barbecue shrimp as well but I'm not as impressed with it, I would pass on that one. For entrees, we decided to go with filet and the sea bass, no complaints on both and they were cooked wonderfully. My go to sides are garlic mashed (yes sounds basic right but it's just my favorite), Brussels sprouts, and Mac and cheese (got it for my baby girl which she absolutely loved and I did too). Ambiance was great, however I felt like this time around the restaurant was way more brighter than the last time I visited. I could've sworned the lights were dimmer last time we were here, but no biggie on that piece. Our server, Teresa was wonderful and she suggested nice wines to pair nicely with our dinner! I love Ruth Chris , I have been to the ones in New Orleans , to all the ones in Atlanta, this location was nice , the service was great , and i really enjoyed myself . I am glad to come back to visit Biloxi and get to go to Ruth Chris because i live in Tallahassee now we don't have one here . I missed that most about New Orleans and Atlanta. I am glad that when I go with my mom to the Beau and visit family I can walk next doors . It's inside the hard rock and it's nice in there the food is great, i get the surf and turf combo. We celebrated our son's graduation and, upon entering the restaurant, we were informed that hats were not allowed in the dining area. After being seated, we noticed that three other men at different tables were wearing hats. We are Latino, not Caucasian, and our son currently serves in the United States Space Force. The hat he was wearing was from the USSF. Although we do not reside in Mississippi, we observed that the hostess escorted another gentleman to his table while he was also wearing a hat. For that expensive of a steak, I thought it would wow my wife and I. But no, I left wanting more out of my meal. The tomahawk was cooked to medium, but there was nothing to compliment the steak. We sent it back and said we just needed it a little more cooked to Medium rare or even medium. They brought them back and they were cooked all the way through and very well done with no pink. When we said something about it the waiter seemed irritated so we just said never mind and ate them. We never received one of the sides and so when we asked for it to come off the check the waiter just seemed so irritated about it. It wasn't our fault that we asked for it twice and never got it. The atmosphere in general was nice and the sides we received were good. Drinks good also. But for just at $250 for both of us, I was not impressed, going back to Biloxi in a few weeks and will probably stay clear of this place. read more

Seems these days Ruth's is a hit or miss proposition that varies by location. The Hard Rock location in Biloxi is definitely a hit. As per the usual, this Ruth's Chris did not disappoint. If you are looking for the typical special occasion steak dinner, this is your go-to chain, so we already knew what to expect going in. It was our anniversary and we were pleased with this particular location because it was located in the Hard Rock casino which gave us a fun time before and after our meal. The service here was above what I have experienced at other locations, so they did an excellent job here of that. We each ordered the Prix Fixe Special Menu, both getting the filet and shrimp and then each getting the spinach and garlic mash. This set-up also comes with house or caesar salad or lobster bisque and a dessert. It was all excellent. We both each had a cocktail as well and they were excellent, I always order a blue cheese olive stuffed martini and they did it just right. Pro tip at this location, order small and then visit the Sugar Factory inside the casino for dessert, we wish we would have saved room for that instead! Or, talk a walk on the beach a little ways down from the casino and enjoy a nightcap before calling it a night. Overall a great experience. read more

I had to send my steak back 3 times. On the third time I told them to keep it. It is a steak house. The main thing the cooks need to know how to make perfect is the steak. We have never been back. read more
