The process was pretty straight forward but a bit overwhelming at first. You get to choose from like 100 different scents and then narrow them down to 2-4. I believe it was Billy who helped us determine which would work well together. I was happy with how my candle turned out. It was ready the next day.

I was nervous that it would be see through, but it was not see through in the slightest. I got so many compliments on the wrapping paper at the book swap! The young person that helped me told me that they also got the plant for their grandmother during her battle with cancer. Which probably isn't great for its future longevity, if the gradual closing of every other mall-staple store is any indication, but it's great for the customer's experience. Around peak-candle season (fall and winter), other locations are a madhouse mess, absolutely crawling with people and lines out the door. Here, you can really take your time and smell everything you want without being in someone's way or someone being in yours. BBW will always be nostalgic for me, even as I grow out of the sickly-sweet, factory-produced, unsustainable, heavily dyed, glitter-filled, unnatural product line and prefer locally made soy candles and natural, plastic-free body care instead. (I reallyyyy wish BBW would switch to soy but I know that's obviously not up to this location.) Now I just pop in a couple times a year for the ambiance, car air fresheners, and hand sanitizer but I definitely prefer this location over the Castleton mall.
