Went to Rustic Hog for Sunday lunch. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was good.

This man was incredibly rude and unprofessional! I would NOT hire him for any event. He was booked…read morefor my friends wedding that was hosted at my house. His helper burst through my house to get water after REPEATEDLY being told to stay out of my home and find my fiancé to show him the hose as the house was closed off to vendors and guests. He set up his "walk way" in front of the opening of the tent that everyone used to get into the event. He felt it was only for him to walk there as if he had a God complex even thought it was the main opening of the tent. He repeatedly yelled at guests. He did not leave any food for the bride and groom even though he was specifically asked to do so. The final straw was when he forcefully shoved my 7 year old niece out of his "walk way" while screaming at her to move. As for his food it was horrendous! The mystery meat was cold, bland, and gray. He didn't have enough serving equipment prepared. His "famous cupcakes" looked as if a child had done them. Overall, he and his food were a disappointment and left NOTHING to rave about.

We hired Mark to cater our event in June. 1-1/2 hours before our event, we received an EMAIL, not a…read morephone call, that they would NOT be coming. That left us scrambling to provide food for 100 guests. He returned our deposit however no apology or message was included. So NO, I DO NOT recommend this business! Unfortunately I had to begrudgingly give him one star.

Having a craving for something sweet, we googled bakeries near us and found this bakery open. We new it would be close before early Sunday close. We made it with 2 minutes to spare. They even unwrapped several of our purchases. Everything we purchased was the best we'd ever had. The cinnamon roll melted in your mouth and frosting was so good. I purchased a loaf of cinnamon bread. I am quite old and must say, it's the best I've ever eaten. It has no icing so a few less calories. It also is sliced thin which is good. The dough is very tasty and soft. I've told my family, when driving from Gaylord to visit kids in college in Grand Rapids, plan trips to stop at this place for lunch which looked very appetizing, and definitely pick up something sweet, and me a loaf of bread. I'll drive from Detroit to "visit". To top it off, they use all local ingredients when possible and in season! The "icing on the cake" for a great road-trip with my grand-daughter.

We were pleased to find the 2 The Moon Bakery on our last trip up north. Very cute place. I tried…read morethe egg croissant sandwich, and loved it! My husband got the classic breakfast with the sausage. I tried a bite of the sausage, and it's some of the best I've ever had! We also tried a strawberry poptart, and a brownie. The poptart was ok, but the brownie was spectacular. Would definately get one of those again. Coffee was decent.
