We then sat down outside on the patio for lunch. The service was very good. I ordered the triple berry turkey panini and thought it was very good. It was unique with lots of dried berries and a raspberry creme. My wife ordered the quiche of the day and it came with spinach, goat cheese and ham. Hers also came with a fruit cup and scone. The scone had a nice lemon creme that came with it which was a great touch. She really enjoyed her dish. This is definitely a nice stop if you are in the Clare area.

The homey decor paired with the friendly service made it feel like you were visiting a friend who also happens to be a baker extraordinaire! The staff here goes above and beyond with the drink attentiveness--our waitress kept the refills coming and even offered us a coffee to go as the place was winding down. Now that's hospitality! Located conveniently across from the Tesla superchargers, it's the perfect pit stop for some recharge-yourself-while-you-recharge-the-car vibes. And don't leave without trying a slice of their famous pie. We were tipped off by the waitress that the buttermilk and berry pies are the crowd favorites, and I can see why! If you're a pie person, don't miss. Food-wise, it's classic Michigan fare. The chicken and rice soup of the day was exactly what you'd expect--simple, no-frills, but satisfying. I also tried the quiche of the day, which came with a fruit cup (not the freshest fruit ever, but no complaints here) and a homemade scone that was delicious! The pesto chicken sandwich hit the spot, too. Whether you're here for the pies, the quiche, or just to soak up the local charm, Mulberry Cafe has you covered. And with an attached gift shop, you might just find a cute souvenir to remember your visit.

I don't think we could have picked a better Restaurant to have our dog with! We literally had no idea that this restaurants theme is dogs! Moose and Stella's is such a cute Restaurant! The dog decor is absolutely adorable! We were greeted warmly and told our dog was absolutely welcome and they brought her a big bowl of water and some biscuits! This is definitely a mom café with lots of delicious looking foods to choose from. I decided on the corned beef hash as it was mentioned that it was homemade and popular and we also chose blueberry pancakes as it came highly recommend recommended. My husband chose a skillet that had several types of meat and sausage, gravy and hashbrowns. It was a daily special. Our waitress and other staff were so kind and kept our coffee cups full. As a sidenote, it was fairly close to closing time I would say about 45 minutes before they closed and not once did we ever feel like we had to rush. Our food came out and looked absolutely delicious! The servings were very big and everything was hot. The corned beef has was most likely the best I've ever had!! it was like a very rustic take on what I know is corned beef and I absolutely loved it! It was very flavorful and it had that nice crispy. Text her and places that you really crave with corn beef hash. 10/10! The blueberry pancakes were exceptional as well. They were light and fluffy and fresh blueberries all throughout. My husband skillet was full of all kinds of breakfast meats, cheese, hashbrowns, and gravy. I don't think you can do much better than that. He said everything was delicious and he really liked the gravy which is a complement to the business as he is extremely picky about sausage gravy! My daughter had the kids hamburger slider with fries and applesauce and she said it was delicious! Just a sidenote, they have a small menu for your dogs as well! We ordered our dog, Marley, a big hamburger patty and she gave it a 10 out of 10 We will return again and again, we come to the area for vacation and this restaurant will definitely be in our normal rotation when we visit!

Me and the fam enjoyed the cute ambiance of the lake town, and when I saw that there was a funeral home across the street -- notice that funeral homes are called funeral homes. It makes me very uncomfortable because it's as if that will be my future home. Home like Billy Joel's "You're my home." I cannot imagine that I will have the same feelings that his lyrics reflect. Regardless, if I did end up dying and that's my the elected "funeral home," then I'm glad that whoever still loves me will be able to have a nice meal at a doggy themed cafe. Waitress was sweet.
